Common pattern: Khadr, Lindh, Siddiqui

I've been thinking about the cases of Omar Khadr, John Walker Lindh, and Aafia Siddiqui. In each case, the U. S. military fucked up real bad - either by shooting Siddiqui for no reason, or by friendly fire deaths of American military personnel in the cases of Lindh and Khadr - and decided to cover up each of the fuck-ups by railroading an innocent person who could be attacked without question in the United States as a 'terrorist' or 'terrorist' sympathizer.
