"Lee Smith on Linkage: 'Central Plank of Mubarakism Was the Peace Treaty'"  Unusual honesty from a neocon:  Egypt has to can the peace treaty with Israel as the money associated with it has ruined Egypt with corruption.

I couldn't help but note that the comments on the Galliano firing were riddled with homophobic slurs.  In other words, it wasn't hatred that was the issue, it was hatred directed in a specific direction, at the powerful.  Galliano was guilty of the usual crime, lèse majesté.

"Watch This: Christian Dior's Nazi Past Revealed":
"It's been revealed that Dior and his family had ties to the Nazi party. And after Galliano's "I love Hitler!" remark, that's the last thing the brand needs out in the open right now.

Before starting his own fashion line, the designer is said to have dressed the wives of Nazi officers from 1942 to the end of World War II.

And his niece, Francoise Dior, married English Nazi Colin Jordan six years after Dior's death in 1957, and was at one point quoted saying, "All I want is little Nazi children!""
"Internet Sleuths Prove Qaddafi’s Son Plagiarized His PhD Thesis" The director of the LSE had to resign. I assume it wasn't for taking Gaddafi money or even selling a LSE PhD. His problem was selling it for too low a price. Other University leaders will tell him the obvious: make your money from the Jews by cancelling legitimate anti-Zionist speakers. Then your pockets can jingle with shekels with no fear of losing your job.

"Hillary Clinton Says Al Jazeera Is Putting American Media To Shame"  Ha!

"CNN Anchor Interviews Al Jazeera Anchor Who Interviewed Libyan Rebels"  This parody can't be true as CNN executives would never take even the tiniest risk of broadcasting something that was true.

Charlie Sheen was lambasted by the usual suspects for using Chuck Lorre's real name.  Did they consider that Charlie Sheen is an Hispanic actor who uses an Anglo name for presumably the same reason as Chuck Lorre, because he thought he could make more money with a non-ethnic name (Charlie Sheen was born Carlos Irwin Estévez, Anglicized his first name, and took the last name, Sheen, used by his father Martin Sheen, born Ramon Antonio Gerard Estévez)?  It would not surprise me if 'Charlie' and 'Chuck' had some interesting conversations about ethnic identity.
