"NATO: Keep the progress going!"

"NATO: Keep the progress going!"  Amnesty International's 'progress' is measured in drone attacks. Simply amazing (and an oddly clunky, almost unidiomatic, slogan, as if it was translated from another language).

And scroll down for the poster.  I've seen exactly this style of ad for the Military-Industrial Complex.  You just have to swap out Amnesty International for, say, Northrop Grumman, and you can recycle the same ad.  Amnesty International is just the propaganda arm of the warmongers.

Amnesty's prisoners of conscience campaigns were just covers for assisting the American Empire in fighting the Cold War.  At least they used to pretend to have humanitarian goals. Now they don't even bother to hide the imperialism.

"Amnesty International, George Clooney and the Bidding of Empire":
"In March this year Frank S. Jannuzi was named Washington DC office head at Amnesty International USA (AIUSA). Frank, a former staffer with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is Hitachi International Affairs Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)."
"Hackers Breach Sites of Foreign Policy and Human Rights Groups":
"In recent weeks, hackers have breached Web sites belonging to several foreign policy and human rights groups, including Amnesty International and the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism, a nonprofit organization based in Israel that researches terrorism issues."
The hackers know birds of a feather.
