"Family Saved by George Zimmerman Afraid to Be ‘Associated’ With Him". Note:
- the police are on a campaign to rehabilitate Zimmerman (does the police department fear a lawsuit by the family based on the fact the police allow this kind of vigilantism to go on, and almost encourage it?);
- Zimmerman is still working that police scanner and still playing cop;
- comment by artemissed:
"Am I missing something? Their vehicle overturned, and pulling them out of it saved their lives? Is that how it works? If they had been in danger, surely the initial accident, itself, would have posed the only risk, no?
They survived the initial crash, and so George Zimmerman, ever the vigilant, thought it would be wise to move them away from the car before emergency services arrived to bring them to the hospital. If anything, that is dangerous because you risk worsening a potential internal injury before medical care is there to treat it. If anything, Zimmerman endangered these people by leaping into action, as he is wont to do.
It's not as though the car was ready to explode any moment, like in movies. That doesn't happen.
I wonder if he asked the 911 dispatcher what to do (if he indeed called) and then promptly ignored their advice.
Don't get me wrong, I am sure he had noble intentions and his willingness to thrust himself into what most would consider dangerous is commendable, but it's not as though he single-handedly lifted a car off this family."
"Is Saudi Arabia Targeting Hezbollah?" Yes, but there is an American line of thinking that the very rational Hezbollah is better than any of its alternatives.
