Everything is wrong

"Everything you know about Ukraine is wrong" by Mark Ames.  Useful - particularly the odd shifting corrupt American alliances - but the first comment by Valentina B is much more to the point.  The crowds of ordinary people wouldn't have led to the coup, which required organized ultra-violent paramilitary thugs.

"Will NATO annex Ukraine?"  Escobar on the financial and political realities.  However angry some people are in Ukraine, life there a week ago will be heaven compared to the hell the coup is going to lead to.  Last paragraph:
"Here’s a very possible scenario. Eastern and southern Ukraine become part of Russia again; Moscow would arguably accept it. Western Ukraine is plundered, disaster capitalism-style, by the Western corporate-financial mafia – while nobody gets a single EU passport. As for NATO, they get their bases, ‘annexing’ Ukraine, but also get myriads of hyper-accurate Russian Iskander missiles locked in their new abode. So much for Washington’s ‘strategic advance’."

"How Covert Agents Infiltrate the Internet to Manipulate, Deceive, and Destroy Reputations" (Greenwald). Nothing here that would even slightly bother Cass Sunstein, whose goal is weakening the opposition to the Leviathan through the creation of paranoia.
