Plain dumb policy

"Israel" by Ian Welsh

"Russia Reveals "Plan B": Gazprom Says Gas Transit Via Ukraine May Be Stopped Completely"  Ukrainian unreliability is proven and about to get worse, so this is no surprise at all, and, despite what they say for American consumption, I'm sure the Europeans are quietly happy with the Austrians.

The scum who signed this vile anti-peace letter should not be trusted on any matter under any circumstances, ever.

"The New Caliphate Unite The Middle East Against It?"  I'm starting to wonder if the CIA training these monsters received was in drama, as they are the most theatrical bunch of crazies we've seen in a while.

We owe them so much

"Action Alert: Tell Your Rep to Defend El Salvador’s Family Farmers!"

"The Truth of Libya (Finally) Goes Mainstream"  While we've been hearing a lot about neocon lies about Saddam these days, this set of whoppers is all on Barry and Hillary.

"Maliki Compromised CIA Spies in Iraq for Years"  Weird lament that Iraq practices counterintelligence against CIA spying, and is quite good at it.

"CIA Officer Paul Zalucky":
"Historical Note – It was CIA Officer Paul Zalucky who filled the dead drop for it’s Russian agent, KGB Officer Leonid Polischuk. The KGB knew that Zalucky was a CIA Officer long before his arrival in Moscow, further proof of a “Fourth Mole” in the CIA who has never been caught and may still be walking CIA hallways to this very day.
CIA continues to prop up the story that Leonid Polischuk was betrayed by Aldrich Ames, but this is simply not true. CIA still refuses to believe that a fourth mole still exists and may still be active, or was flipped by the CIA to work against it’s handlers. Final conclusion, KGB Officer Polischuk was betrayed before Aldrich Ames began leaking information."
"Canada's Supreme Court Penalizes Walmart for Closing Store After Workers Unionized"  If the penalty is big enough, the Walmart strategy of simply closing the store to stop unionization will no longer work in Canada.

"Saudi Arabia and ISIS"  The various spins on Saudi funding of wholesale terrorism are funny.

"PHOTOS: Asylum seekers march out of 'open prison,' demand resettlement"  The biggest mistake you can make is to assume that a group of violent group supremacists might act like moral, decent human beings.

"Israeli methods"  Jews actually invented such famous and awful things as bus bombings, and indeed the modern concept of terrorism itself.  As they keep telling us, we owe them so much.

Comedy acts

It is impossible to understand either Barry or Bliar without understanding what modern political corruption looks like.  That's why Bliar reacts so strongly to suggestions he be removed from his gravy train, or why Barry's plans for the Middle East are now best described as comedy.  The bribes are paid after you are out of power with book contracts, speaking fees, and various consultancy contracts.  The Jewish billionaires are terrified that Assad is going to end up with a battle-hardened army and nobody to fight but the child-killing experts of the IDF.

It is all very simple.

Parallels

Whitney and Engdahl on the oddities of ISIS; Madsen on the situation in Ukraine.

There are parallels.  Both operations have deep roots.  American destabilizing operations in Eastern Europe have been going on since the Soviet days, and more recently have been quietly chugging along, more of a gnat-like nuisance to people like Putin than anything serious.  Part of the ISIS team was trained by Americans in Jordan, and the ISIS leadership is very suspicious.

The oddities need an explanation, but the explanation is obviously not an American government  conspiracy at the Obama-Kerry level.  The American response in each case is simply too off-the-cuff and weak.  Kerry is in the middle of one of the most embarrassing foreign tours of an American Secretary of State ever (the sentencing of the journalists in Egypt was Sisi spitting in Kerry's huge face), and Obama has nothing constructive to offer (an empire that has no answers is no longer an empire).  Meanwhile, Putin is using the opening caused by American clumsiness, looking east, south and west, to build a New World Empire.

In both Ukraine and Iraq, a quiet operation that wasn't going anywhere was turned around in a hurry by operatives working below the highest levels, in both cases against real American interests, in both cases leaving the high-level American response flat-footed and embarrassingly ineffectual, and in both cases working for the interests of the Zionist Empire.  There is only one explanation for the lack of information at the top.  Treason.

The destruction of Iraq: Cui bono?

The advantages to the Zionist Empire of the current situation in Iraq:
  1. the break-up of Iraq into three statelets following the Yinon plan, thus wrecking another potential Israeli opponent;
  2. the general Jewish plan of tricking gentiles into fighting one another;
  3. the removal of Maliki, considered to be too close to Iran (and replacement with log-time Israeli stooge Chalabi, big pal of Richard Perle, currently being carefully talked up by the usual neocons);
  4. the weakening of Iran by removing Iraq as an ally;
  5. the blocking of supply lines between Iran and Syria/Hezbollah through the creation of the new Sunni terror state;
  6. support for Sunni terrorists fighting the Syrian people;
  7. the use of the new Sunni terror state as a base for operations against Iranian interests and as a base for terrorist attacks worldwide to continue the Israeli propaganda idea of the Global War On Terror;
  8. the establishment of the new state of Kurdistan, a firm Israeli ally (which happens to be approximately where the Kharzars, the ancestors of the Jews who run Israel, lived);
  9. the opening of oil supply lines between Kurdistan and Israel (the Kurdish ability to independently ship oil was disputed by the Iraqi government).
The advantages to the American Empire of the current situation in Iraq:
  1. Zero.
Actually, the increase in oil prices, with a very delicate American economy under control by Jewish/Israeli regulators, could create an utter disaster for the United States.  It is laughable that some think the Sunni terror state is an American, rather than a Jewish/Saudi, conspiracy.

Crippled analysis

I'm not impressed with much of what I'm reading on the conspiracy front these days (a necessary problem with being unable to state the only possible valid analysis), but you can draw your own conclusions from some bare facts.

"A Big Deal"

"Turkey Would Support Iraqi Kurds' Bid For Self-Rule, Spokesman Says In Historic Remark"  Just a coincidence . . .

"The Stingers of Benghazi"  It is funny how:
  1. regardless of what they say, these Sunni Islamist terrorist groups never (ever, ever, ever) attack Israeli/Jewish interests;
  2. surface to air missiles, despite apparently floating around all over the place, never get used against commercial aviation (where they would be economic game-changers).
"The United States should not cooperate with Iran on Iraq" ZOG issues its orders (and Barry dutifully follows). Note the hilarious collection of lies.

"Fear of a Decrease in Fear of Iran"

"Neo-Zangid State erases Syria-Iraq Border, cuts Hizbullah off from Iran" Cole, I know, but interesting (and explains why Iran will have to fix this).

"Bruce Riedel, once again, offers his expertise on the Middle East: ISIS and "its Shia counterparts""

"The New Map of the Middle East" Some Yinon gloating (and note that World Jewry has brought the concentration camp guard back to the Atlantic).

Comment by thepanzer to a Moon of Alabama post:
"It's possible that this is all a grand conspiracy running from DC to Riyadh but that doesn't mean it's probable. If these actors wanted to remove Maliki for a more pliable leader there are surely much simpler and safer ways to do so than to unleash religious fanatics to conquer half the country with no means to reign them in? No?
Maybe we should consider that ISIS aren't a bunch of dummies, and similar to Hezbollah have been steadily learning, adapting, and refining their craft over the years. I'm sure that Riyadh certainly tries to influence them, but influence is not the same thing as control. As for DC, they're dumb enough to have been arming ISIS in Syria thinking they could control them and/or not realizing they were actually arming them given the chaos in the country as well as how porous the area is for foreign fighters and arms cross flow. But again, thinking you can control and actually controlling are two different things.
This doesn't seem like a planned DC event, I live in the northern virginia area and there's a definite whiff of shock and panic wafting over the potomac. To put it another way, why would Obama and/or the deep state give the go ahead to set in motion a chain of events that make them look powerless, foolish, assigns blame to the current administration for ALL of the Iraq stumbles, polarize public opinion against both Obama and the deep state as incompetent at best, all just to remove a mostly powerless figurehead in a failed state? One they can simply bribe and coerce to enact the majority of what they want any way? Also add in that DC's best efforts to pivot to Asia while containing Russia via the Ukraine debacle just got completely monkeywrenched by events in Iraq. If the deep state wanted to go after Iran, they'd just go after Iran. period, dot. The chaos in Iraq will make it absolutely impossible for the US to go after Iran militarily.
The attempt now to remove Maliki isn't the fruition of some grand plot. It's the feeble last gasp of an administration that's lost control of events in the Middle east, has no other viable options to pursue, and is desperately trying to keep the world from noticing how powerless it has become in the region."
There is simply nothing more obvious in the world that the Americans were utterly blindsided by events in both Iraq and Ukraine, and there is no American conspiracy involved in either. All you have to do is look at the ridiculousness and clumsiness of the American attempts to deal with the problems.  In particular, the American Empire is deeply embarrassed by its lack of options in dealing with Iraq (Barry actually looks weak and embarrassed).

Not subtle

From the simply hilarious Zionist National Post, the world's worst newspaper:  "Iran’s ‘anti-Canada rhetoric’ has officials on guard for possible Ottawa area terror attacks"

Back in reality (the suddenly new reality):  "UK to re-open Iran embassy says Hague"

"Impeach Tony Blair: As Iraq burns, Parliament should put this deluded liar on trial, writes SIMON HEFFER":
"In Britain, impeachment is the process by which the House of Commons votes to have someone, usually but not inevitably a high public official, put on trial before the House of Lords for alleged crimes, or for criminally damaging the public interest.

A Select Committee of MPs draws up the evidence to take this serious step, and would provide prosecutors to pursue the case before the Lords.

A simple majority is required to convict, at which point a sentence can be passed, which could, in theory, involve Tony Blair being sent to prison.

The defendant can have his own legal representation, and the case can be presented in every bit as much detail as in a court of law."

You might have thought that all this NSA snooping might have created some intelligence on Iraq, but, yet again, the Americans were caught completely flat-footed.  Every day Barry wakes up to a completely surprising world of wonder.  "ISIS and the U.S. security state--the most disconcerting story you'll read this year"

"What to Do in Iraq" by by Frederick W. Kagan And William Kristol:
"Now is not the time to re-litigate either the decision to invade Iraq in 2003 or the decision to withdraw from it in 2011."
It is never a good time to re-litigate which Jews lied to you to fool you into the biggest mistake in the history of American foreign policy, or which Jews then engaged the Saudis to fund a Sunni terrorist army to undo all you had spent those trillions on, or which Jews will then use your lack of attention to fool you into making another huge mistake, all in order to assist World Jewry in building a Zionist Empire across the Middle East, while firmly blocking the only sane solution of an American-Iranian alliance.

"PNAC letters sent to President Bill Clinton"

Feith (fuckin' Feith!):
"This is the education of Barack Obama, but it’s coming at a very high cost to the Syrian people to the Iraqi people [and] to the American national interest"

Note that World Jewry finds fooling Americans into doing the tragically wrong thing again important enough that the same Jews who treasonously tricked Americans into the first Iraq mistake are willing to risk Americans noticing the original lies and the identity of the liars.

A teaching moment

Americans are are slowing learning.

Iraq is beset with an Islamist army of medieval cruelty.  They are establishing in Iraq an actual country as a base for terrorist operations around the world, especially against American interests.

How can this possibly be?  Wasn't Saddam attacked as part of the 'war on terror'?  Wasn't Iraq attacked in order to remove the terrorist threat to the United States?  Of course, the truth is that Saddam posed absolutely no threat to the United States, and was in fact a bulwark against the Islamists, something you wouldn't see anywhere in the lying Jew-controlled mainstream media at the time, and removing him actually increased the terrorist threat, and allowed the current disaster to occur.

Oh, and who finances this new medieval state?  Prince Bandar and the Saudi princes (some of whom, you'll remember, financed a guy called Osama bin Laden!).  And Kuwaiti princes, who of course were bailed out by the United States in the Gulf War when they were trying to steal oil from Iraq!!

And who should pop up to add their advice and recriminations?  The same collection of Jews who lied to trick Americans into attacking Iraq in the first place!

The new terrorist state rolls all the contradictions of neoconservatism into one neat ball that nobody can fail to understand.  The Jews have tricked Americans into fighting Wars For the Jews to remove any possible opponents to their plan for a Jewish state across the Middle East, and are now following up by using the Yinon plan to break each remaining part into the smallest possible warring statelets, based on the creation of Sunni terror states.  This is an appallingly cruel plan, and is in complete contradiction to real American interests.

Oh, and who is going to save the United States from this mess?  Of course, the mortal enemy (or so sez Bibi), Iran!

STFU

"New York Times Says 'Lack Of Major Wars May Be Hurting Economic Growth'"  The United States continues to go through the largest and most disastrous economic experiment in history and has definitively determined that wars - in this case, Wars For The Jews - completely wreck and ransack an economy.  In fact, I would argue that the American inability to look after things like its infrastructure, education, and health care, despite being the richest country that has ever existed, is determined entirely by a real lack of wealth, wealth which has been poured down the Jew-hole.  All the blocking of reforms blamed on right-winger obstructionism (generally explained in terms of 'values') is really just a reflection of what nobody wants to admit, the money is gone and Americans really can no longer afford 'nice things'.  It is logically impossible to be 'progressive' and not also an 'anti-Semite'.

Note that the inability to grasp - or even talk about! - the role of World Jewry and ZOG in the long, long line of Wars For The Jews has not only permanently wrecked the United States, but is leading to the dangerous insanity of attacking the Islamists in Iraq while supporting them in Syria.  World Jewry is also still trying to block the necessary Iranian nuclear negotiations!  It is now more than ever critical for Americans to know, and attack, their real enemies.

Feedly extortion

I've been having sporadic trouble with Feedly for a week or so.  From the Feedly blog:
"Denial of service attack
Posted on June 11, 2014 by @feedly

2:04am PST – Criminals are attacking feedly with a distributed denial of service attack (DDoS). The attacker is trying to extort us money to make it stop. We refused to give in and are working with our network providers to mitigate the attack as best as we can.

We are working in parallel with other victims of the same group and with law enforcement.

We want to apologize for the inconvenience. Please know that you data is safe and you will be able to re-access your feedly as soon as the attack is neutralized.

We will update this blog post as soon as we have more information:

Thank you for your understanding,

/Oliv, Seb and Edwin"
I wonder what the whole story was with that guy who had his short Twitter name extorted, and then returned to him.

A new country

"Islamic Jihadis Take Over Second-Biggest City In Iraq … But Al Qaeda Wasn’t Even IN Iraq Until the U.S. Invaded"  Prince Bandar - and/or his successor - working on a Yinon plan for Iraq.  The goal of World Jewry is, as always, to keep the gentiles fighting each other.  ZOG will block the Americans from being able to do anything about it, and there is no reasonable prospect that Iraq is capable of helping itself.  For the foreseeable future, there is an Islamist terrorist country in a highly strategic location.

Have they found Saddam's weapons of mass destruction yet?

World War III is already here

"A world war between classes, not countries" by Ismael Hossein-Zadeh:
"Most pundits of historical developments tend to perceive another global war as large scale deployment of military means in pursuit of defeat, destruction or subjugation of contending opponents. While prospects of such an ominous scenario certainly cannot be ruled out, there is reason to believe, however, that the much talked-about World War III may be of a different type: more interclass than international.

Viewed in this light, World War III is already here; it has indeed
been raging on for years: the unilateral, cross-border neoliberal war of austerity economics that is waged by the transnational class of financial oligarchy against the overwhelming majority of world citizens, the global 99%.

Globalization of capital and interdependence of world markets has reached a point where large-scale military clashes of the magnitude of World Wars I and II could lead to financial catastrophe for all. Not surprisingly, the network of transnational financial elites, who often elect politicians and run governments from behind the scenes, seem to be averse to another wholesale international war that could paralyze worldwide financial markets.

This explains why imperialistic aggressions of late have often taken the form of "soft-power" interventions: color-coded revolutions, "democratic" coups d'etat, manufactured civil wars, economic sanctions, and the like. Of course, military option always lurks in the background to be employed when/if "soft-power" strategies of regime change fail or prove insufficient.

Even then, however, all efforts are made (by the major capitalist powers) to make such military interventions "controlled" or "manageable", that is, limited to local or national levels. While "controlled" wars tend to safeguard the fortunes of war profiteers and beneficiaries of military spending (mainly the military-security-industrial complex and major banks), they would not cause paralysis of international financial markets.

This also explains why major world powers such as China, Russia, India, and Brazil tend to shy away from standing up more robustly to the bullying policies of the United States. Wealthy oligarchic circles in these countries have more in common with their elite counterparts in the US and other core capitalist countries than their fellow countrymen at home. "Whether they maintain primary residences in New York or Hong Kong, Moscow or Mumbai, today's super-rich are increasingly a nation unto themselves", points out Chrystia Freeland, global editor of Reuters, who travels with the elites to many parts of the world.

It is therefore only logical to believe that a de facto alliance exists between members of this global "nation" of the super-rich, which helps facilitate the operations of imperialist schemes of regime change. For example, when/if Russia is threatened by the United States and its European allies, Russian oligarchs tend to clandestinely collaborate with their class counterparts in the West, thereby undermining Russia's resistance to such interference from Western powers.

A brief look at recent schemes of regime change in countries like Iraq and Libya, on the one hand, and Ukraine and Iran, on the other, can help an understanding of when or where the imperialist powers resort to direct military action to bring about regime change (as in Iraq and Libya), and where or when they resort to "soft-power" tactics to achieve the same goal, as in Ukraine and Iran. Two major reasons or considerations can be identified in this context, that is, in regard with the imperialist choice of the means or tactics of regime change.

The first is related to the level of class differentiation within countries targeted for regime change. Due to extensive (and often scandalous) privatization of public property in both Ukraine and Iran, there have emerged quite wealthy circles of financial oligarchs in both of these countries.

These Western-oriented money magnates tend to collaborate with the interventionist forces of regime change from abroad; they are essentially agents of regime change from within, in collaboration with imperialist forces from without. This explains (at least partially) why schemes of regime change in these two countries have relied primarily on "soft-power" and color revolutions instead of direct military intervention.

By contrast, Saddam Hussein's Iraq and Muammar Gaddafi's Libya lacked such influential and internationally connected wealthy classes. While neither Saddam nor Gaddafi were paragons of virtue or champions of democracy, they played the role of what is sometimes called "enlightened dictators": they implemented extensive welfare state programs, maintained strong public-sector economies, opposed privatization of public services such as health and education, and kept major or "strategic" industries such as energy and banking/financial system under state ownership and control.

Combined, these policies prevented the rise of powerful financial elites such as those that emerged and developed in Iran or Ukraine. This meant, among other things, that "soft-power" and/or color revolution tactics of regime change, which heavily rely on native or local allies, the so-called comprador bourgeoisie, did not have a good chance of success in these countries - hence the use of "hard-power" or direct military intervention/occupation of both Iraq and Libya.

The second imperialist consideration in the choice of soft- versus hard-power tactics of regime change is related to whether a war to be waged in pursuit of regime change can be controlled and managed at the local or national level, or whether it may spin out of control and become regional and/or global.

In the case of Ukraine, for example, a direct military aggression would certainly have involved Russia, very likely become global, with disastrous economic/financial consequences beyond the control of imperialist powers - hence the choice of soft-power and/or "democratic" coup d'etat in Ukraine.

A similar concern that an all-out war against Iran may get out of control likewise explains why schemes of regime change in that country have (so far) also focused primarily on economic sanctions and other soft-power tactics, including the color-coded "green revolution" of 2009.

By contrast, "hard power" or sheer military force was used for regime change in Iraq and Libya out of the near-certain knowledge that the wars of regime change against these countries could be controlled fairly successfully, that is, prevented from becoming regional or global."

"What to know about gun control in Canada"  The long-gun registry, destroyed by Harper's Conservatives, might have allowed the RCMP to be aware of the existence of these guns, possibly saving the lives of the three RCMP officers.

Don't forget the gas

"Poroshenko's message to Novorossiia and Russia"

Russia still controls Ukraine's energy supply (not to mention Europe's), and the European oligarchs still want to do business with Russia.  Poroshenko is in an extraordinarily weak bargaining position, and is just playing to his supporters.  Russian diplomats, who are very good at what they do, just have to find a relatively face-saving out for Poroshenko to make the inevitable deal.

The only people who want WWIII are World Jewry, and ZOG power over America and Europe won't be enough given the energy realities (it also helps that the Ukrainians themselves are long-time victims of Jewish machinations).

We're going to be seeing a lot of talk of WWIII, played up by the Jew-controlled media, but there is no chance of it happening.

Evidence

"Are human rights activists today’s warmongers?"  It is very unusual to see anyone call out the monsters of our time.

"David Graeber: “Spotlight on the financial sector did make apparent just how bizarrely skewed our economy is in terms of who gets rewarded”"  The entire structure of economics, both from the 'right' and 'left', has been set up for the specific purpose of enriching the 1% at the expense of everybody else, and almost nothing that any economist says or assumes has even the slightest connection with reality.  It is rare for anyone to point out how obviously ridiculous it is.  Unfortunately, the people who are supposed to save us from this pernicious nonsense are steeped in the same nonsensical assumptions, so Graeber is very unusual.

Stupid?

"Obama's Europe doctrine: Too much stupid, not enough serious"  "DC Madam on National Security Priapicy"  It is not so much stupidity, as the death throes of empire.  They have to appear to be doing something, but have no idea of what to do.

"Just as we predicted, India’s new leader is about to make Pierre Omidyar a lot richer" by Mark Ames

"The Con-Artist Wing of the Democratic Party" by Matt Stoller.  There are some big mysteries in Tim Geithner's life, but it is not a mystery that the oligarchy looked after Tim Geithner, and he really, really, looked out for them.

"Israeli Murdered in Brussels Was Israeli Spy"  I'll suppose you'll note there is not a shred of evidence in this piece, but it may be true anyway.  And the guy caught by the French is almost certainly not the shooter.  Of course, what the Europeans should have noted is that their splendid little proxy war in Syria has returned home.

Rational

"Ukraine Coup Brings Russia and China Closer" by William Engdahl:
"Putin’s new Asian pivot involves not only China. It also envisions potentially significant economic deals with both Japan and both Koreas that could considerably lessen Washington’s recent efforts to create deliberate tensions and frictions between China and both Japan and South Korea. Putin’s Russia has recently quietly settled outstanding debt disputes with North Korea (DPRK), forgiving some $10 billion of debts and giving very generous terms for a remaining $1 billion.

Moscow’s Gazprom and the DPRK’s Ministry of Energy have now reached an understanding to build a natural gas pipeline that would enter North Korea from Russia at the Khasan crossing of the Tumen River on the Russia-North Korea. The pipeline would then extend through the DPRK to the Republic of Korea (Korean Gas Co). Then, in what is shaping up to be a new case of Russian “gas diplomacy,” the pipeline would supply gas both to the Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea and the Republic of Korea.[2]

The project has been discussed for more than a decade, but the new element is the recent decisive role of Moscow to actively push it, clearly also part of Putin’s “peaceful Asia Pivot.” And in September, Putin will go to Japan where the Abe government has been engaged in US-encouraged provocations with China over a group of uninhabited islands, which China calls the Diaoyu Islands in the South China Sea, believed to hold vast energy reserves.

More importantly, a related project of Russia includes building a modern train line from South Korea through North Korea into Russia where it would connect to the Trans-Siberian Railway. It would allow high-speed rail connections directly from South Korea to the markets of Europe for the first time, leaving the US Navy control of the high seas less threatening."
The presstitutes have really been working overtime on North Korea: "Girls playing on the beach, hair salons and bored commuters: Tourist who took camera inside North Korea expecting to find 'really, really sad people' is shocked to discover a happy country"

"I love the BBC (again and again!)"  The Ukrainian government is engaging in some quite nasty war crimes, nasty enough that they require covering up.

Barry the troll

"White House Launches Propaganda At TROLL Level"  We're seeing a lot of this pettiness from Washington as the Zio-American Empire falls apart.

"Mish Reader Who Speaks Russian and Reads Ukrainian Updates the Situation in Ukraine"  Some of this is partly Russian propaganda, but it is much, much closer to the truth than anything you will see in the Jew-controlled media.

"Gazprom gives Ukraine more time to pay off gas debt"  Despite ongoing silly rhetoric from Kiev, not to mention the Ukrainian government operation to slaughter civilians in 'Russian' areas of the country, the inevitable gas deal largely on Russian terms proceeds to its inevitable conclusion.

"How Wealthy Elites Are Hijacking Democracy All Over the World" This is pretty much as it has always been, but the actual mechanics of the procedure has become remarkably standardized.

"What’s next for Ukraine’s Maidan protesters?"  The lack of understanding is just sad, but you can see how this cluelessness is so easy to manipulate.

"Translation of the "must read" article of worldcrisis.ru explaining why there is no Russian intervention in the Ukraine" (this is smart throughout, refreshing in the age of wall-to-wall Zio-lies):
"The final touch. In recent months, the U.S. has slowed down the work of its printing press, reducing the "pump-priming" (this especially simplifies the formulation) from 85 to 55 billion dollars a month. Very many expect (e.g. http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/04/27/us-usa-fed-idUSBREA3Q08920140427), that the machine will turn off completely by the end of this year. Again, in that same December. This is due to the fact that the dollar, though it is the main international currency, cannot be printed endlessly - it is impossible. According to various estimates, the United States has almost entirely used up the "resource strength" of the dollar, which allowed them to do the naughty with the (financial) machine. Moreover, the corollary and inevitable effect of such tricks is reducing rates on U.S. bonds, which, on the one hand, helps Washington to pay less for its debts, but, on the other hand, is actually choking the entire U.S. pension and insurance system that is built on the expectation of very different returns from their portfolios bonds. Roughly speaking, by the end of the year, the U.S. will have a choice between to blowing up their social system in order to keep on printing, or greatly reducing their appetites in order to preserve any chance of stability at home. Judging by the reduction in the amount of dollars being thrown into the system, Washington has decided that preventing an explosion is more important than its foreign policy ambitions.
