Had the guts for anything

Reading between the lines it appears that Putin is assisting Trump in preparing the groundwork for US withdrawal from Afghanistan once the Taliban is legitimized through this kind of diplomatic contact:  "Taliban cross the Rubicon" (Bhadrakumar).  Removing American troops from Afghanistan - and thus removing pressures on Pakistan, pressures which are particularly vital now for the usual Khazar supremacist reasons - is one of the reasons why Putin is the Devil for neocons and 'donor'-model Clintonistas.

"Lapis Lazuli Corridor Leads Afghanistan Towards Eurasian Integration" (Bokarev).  Geography means that Afghanistan actually has excellent prospects once it is de-assholed.

Meanwhile:  "The Afghan Quagmire Gets Deeper, Denser and Bloodier" (Cloughley).  It's incredible how well the (((media))) has shoahed awareness of this war.  Related:  "‘What We Have to Do’: Senate Passes Whopping $717 Billion 2019 Pentagon Budget".

"How Justin Trudeau Should Respond to Saudi Arabia" (Engler).  Good list, but he's missing the obvious cancellation - are there union pressures on Engler? - of the vile light armored vehicles contract.  Not that there is the slightest chance that Trudeau or his Nazi foreign minister will do the right thing in any way.

"Newly released official documents show CIA head Gina Haspel directly supervised waterboarding at “Black Site” in Thailand.  Sen. Intelligence Committee Chair Richard Burr and Vice Chair Mark Warner hid that, demonstrating once again that today’s Senate “oversight” means “overlook.” Hold your nose and read:" (McGovern).  Mark Warner again, undeniably a traitor.

"Jordan: The Middle East’s Silent Enemy" (Ferris).  The enabler.

"UK: Boris Johnson makes anti-Muslim pitch for Tory Party leadership" (Hyland).  It's funny how blatant it is, he literally intends to dog-whistle his way to being Prime Minister!  Of course, there is usually a modicum of subtlety to a dog whistle - it is after all a signal that only a dog or a racist can hear - but Boris doesn't even give Teh Stupids of Britain the credit of being intelligent enough to be able to figure out any signals beyond outright in-your-face racism.

"The Other Hiroshimas: A Review of ‘Napalm: An American Biography’, by Robert M. Neer" (Barsocchini).  The unique assholianism of the Assholians.  You have to go back to the Belgian Congo (or maybe WWII Japan) to find any kind of comparable intensity of atrocity record, but nobody in modern history comes even slightly close to the atrocity record - both in sheer volume and intensity of Evil - than Americans.

"Russia is stabilizing the Golan front line." (Lang).  Russia has become the real 'indispensible country' that the assholians claim to be.

"On Iran, the Neocons Are No Ronald Reagan" (Slavin).  This is from the Atlantic Council (working directly for NATO generals for whom any kind of real war is a big career move), and is thus subtly, but importantly, deceptive, in that the neocons don't actually intend to pressure Iran into regime change, they intend to trick Americans into fighting another outright War For The Jews, up to and including boots on the ground.  This kind of long-term psychological preparation is pure Khazar.

"Turkey’s perfect storm" (Erdemir).  "How Turkey's Currency Crisis Came To Pass" (Moon).  Whenever I see an attack based on currency speculation I have to ask the obvious question, 'what's George Soros up to these days?'  Here's Turkey, teetering on the brink between the US orbit and the Russia-China-Iran axis, so what do the Americans do?  Push it away, as usual, based on Khazar manipulation (in this case, the Zionist motivation is Turkey's refusal to play ball on Iran sanctions).

Freedom of screech

"JTA: "Progressives Have a New Definition of Racism: ‘Prejudice Plus Power’. What Does That Mean for Jews?"" (Sailer).  (((Progressives))) out on a limb, sawing away.

"Bannon on the Age of Milken" (Sailer).  The big quote from Bannon:
"Go back and look at the postwar period. These companies had profit margins, and they traded on Wall Street, but there wasn’t this maniacal focus on the financialization. Companies forgot about the social fabric, forgot about your workers. Everything became commoditized. That led to the financial crisis of 2008. It all came home to roost. …
There’s a direct correlation between the factories that left, the billets and jobs that left with them, and the opioid crisis. This is what the Democrats miss: Tariffs are more than economics, it’s about dignity and self-worth.
… Here’s the concept of right-wing populism. If the ’80s and the way we got in this debacle was this radical idea of maximization of shareholder value, here’s what right-wing populism stands for. It’s very simple concept. We’re going to maximize the value of citizenship. We’re going to maximize citizenship value. If you’re an American citizen, you get a special deal. I don’t care if you’re Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, black, white, red, pink, green. I do not care. If you’re an American citizen, you get a better deal.
Here’s how many H-1B visas I want: none. Until we get Baltimore, Detroit, and St. Louis with, you know, youth unemployment down to zero, and people making high value-added jobs, I don’t need any foreigners. And I’m not a racist. What I want is our citizens to get the jobs. Right now illegal immigration is used as nothing more than a scam to suppress workers’ wages.
All the economic textbooks you’ve got before 2008? Throw them out. They’re totally irrelevant.
Your generation, the readers of New York Magazine, you’re nothing but 18th-century Russian serfs. You’re better fed, and you’re better dressed, and you’re better educated. But you don’t own anything. And you’re not going to own anything.
The state capitalism of the big technology companies has taken away your digital, your data sovereignty. They’ve totally taken it away. You generate intellectual property all day long, and they don’t pay you for it. They take it for free, they monetize at huge margins.
Q. But what right-wing populism does is break that. You agree with that?
Bannon: There are parts of it that are not exclusive to right-wing populism —
But on the left, your problem is that identity politics is stronger than your populism, and that’s why you can’t lift out of it. You can’t be a populist and buy into the globalist system — and the globalist system is open borders. It’s the Kochs. It’s Wall Street. The Kochs are the biggest open-borders guys in the world. The libertarian Cato Institute, look how radical they are. Cato hates my guts much more than the left.

Mosque funding

"Is Saudi Arabia Doing America’s Bidding by Sanctioning Canada?" (Korybko).  Er, no.  Though I have to say the utter lack of any assistance from 'allies' that Canada has always rushed willingly to help should provide some hints for future Canadian diplomatic conduct.

Here's a theory of the real reason why MbS threatened to unleash his al-Qaeda army on Canada.  Something happened in July, and the Canadian government just leaked it out:  "Ottawa mosque loses charity status for promoting ‘hate and intolerance’":
"The federal government has stripped one of Ottawa’s largest mosques of its charity status over “activities that promote hate and intolerance,” Global News has learned.
The Canada Revenue Agency took action against the Ottawa Islamic Centre and Assalam Mosque following audits that raised concerns about its roster of guest speakers.
“Many of the views expressed by the organization’s speakers are misogynistic, homophobic, racist and/or promote violence,” the CRA Charities Branch wrote in a letter sent to the mosque president.
The CRA was also concerned that “radicalized individuals” had attended the mosque, one of whom, Ashton Larmond, is now imprisoned for attempting to join the so-called Islamic State."
and:
"The revocation took effect on July 14.
It means the mosque no longer benefits from the tax advantages enjoyed by government-registered charities. Foremost, it cannot issue receipts allowing donors to claim their contributions as income tax deductions.
“It was devastating for us. It was like an earthquake. But what can we do?” said Ali Abdulle, the mosque treasurer, who called the CRA action “politically-motivated.”
The mosque can still operate as a non-profit organization, but the decision could serve as a warning to other charities that they cannot give a platform to those who have espoused bigotry."
and (my emphasis in red):
"The mosque first applied for charity status in 2003 but was rejected, the records show. Among the concerns raised by the CRA at the time was its “sponsored speakers.” But it reapplied and became a registered charity in 2009.
Charity records show that in 2016, the last year it filed a tax return, the mosque received $164,000 from “sources outside Canada” that were not specified. It also reported almost $77,000 in foreign revenues in 2011."
The Saudi princelings enjoy funding mosques in foreign countries to promote their creepy Wahhabist doctrines and Islamist terrorism against the West. I suspect the real reason that MbS blew up is that Canadian efforts to stop terrorist funding infuriated him, and Freeland's hypocritical virtue-signaling tweet was the last straw.

Farmer terrorism

"‘Farmer terrorism’ is the new Jewish settler slogan justifying the destruction of crops".  Palestinians farming on their own traditional lands is now called 'terrorism'.

I don't like Cole - he's an ultra supremacist Jew who somehow manages to get published by 'anti-Semites' - at all, but here he deals with the interesting question - one of the key questions of our time - of why, say, Bill Kristol, doesn't look like Le Merchant:  "Flinging Poo at a Jew" (the epitome of political incorrectness is highlighted in red):
"This Jewish delusion of being among the “99 percent” is what compels Jews in the West to promote suicidal policies. Some of us really believe that once the “white Christian power structure” is toppled, we’ll lead what replaces it. Which is nonsense. In truth, we’ll be the first ones tossed into the sea. Just ask the Jews of France how welcome they feel now that “people of color” own the streets. This is a Jewish community that largely survived the Nazis, but it’s not surviving the immigrant invasion.
Speaking of Nazis, here’s an irony for the ages: It was Hitler who made the Jews white. Prior to the Holocaust, if you said the word “Jew” to a gentile, the first image that might come to mind would probably not have been a wealthy banker or media mogul, but rather a swarthy shtetl-dweller, a peddler, a rag salesman, Yiddle with a fucking fiddle. There’s a reason 1930s audiences loved Geezil from the Popeye cartoons. He was the stereotype.
But then along came Hitler, who damn near wiped out lower-class Eastern European Jewry. By the 1970s, the caricature of the poor “ethnic” Jew made no sense anymore. If you wanted to stereotype a Jew, you made him an upper-class intellectual nebbish with mother issues, not a lice-infested street vendor. But way too many Jews still see ourselves as the dispossessed, and that illusion informs our politics. We don’t want to face the reality that we’re actually the elite now—so we tell ourselves ghost stories about how Trump wants to put us in camps. That way, we can reassure ourselves that “Okay, maybe we’re a little well-off, but the white Christian powers-that-be want us dead, so we better throw in with our comrades-of-color.”
Take a hack like The New York Times Magazine’s Emily Bazelon. She recently attacked her “fellow whites” for their innumerable flaws. And when a few evil right wingers pointed out that she’s Jewish, she doubled down, stating that she “benefits” from her “whiteness” and therefore whites are “stuck” with her. Yet it took me exactly five seconds to Google-search “Bazelon” and “as a Jew” to reveal column after column in which she refers to Judaism as her “identity” and declares herself a “Jewish liberal.” I knew I’d get those results, because I know Bazelon’s type. She’ll identify as white to attack whites, but—like most Jews—she doesn’t want to lose her “special” identity, her “mark of the oppressed.”"
Kristol and his ilk don't look like Le Merchant because his ancestors managed to get out, by stepping on the corpses of people who look like Le Merchant.  It's obvious that the people who died in Europe in the 30s and 40s died because they couldn't escape, but the kicker is that your ability to escape was a question of class (and the Khazars who run American foreign policy are from the class that got out, with the complication that some of the worst neocons obviously have some non-Khazar blood, some have been 'whitened' with the most important of Khazar intellectual/scientific developments, plastic surgery, and some of the worst Zionists like Saban aren't Khazars at all, so it's complex).  You can't get any more politically incorrect than that!  My question:  Why was there an obvious ethnic bifurcation in Eastern European Jewry?  I'm guessing it is the usual problem of racial purity - the elite Jews - think Rothschilds - didn't interbreed with the ethnic Eastern Europeans, thus remaining pure Khazar.  The same ethnic animus now seems to infect 'white' Jewish attitudes towards the ultra orthodox and the settler movement.  These aren't just policy disagreements - the 'white' Jews actually despise the other Jews, with ironic consequences in weakening Zionism.  As with all supremacisms, the weakness is that the supremacists start to divide themselves on the basis of purity to the ethnic ideal, in this case, how 'white' - purebred Khazar - you are.  This is the single most taboo discussion you can have.

"Jeffrey Goldberg Doesn’t Speak for the Jews" (Klion).  No?  Could have fooled me.  To be read right after reading Cole.

Amazingly on point, Khazar supremacist front Human Rights Watch is going to bat for the mass-murdering Khazar Sackler family by claiming that 'pain management' is a 'human right'!!! You can't make this stuff up!  "Battle Over Opioids: Surprising Push-Back, and Not From Dealers" (Wexler).  Note that you have to be 'woke' to see through this story.

"A Four Person NATO-Funded Team Advises Facebook On Flagging "Propaganda"" (Durden).  The Atlantic Council, due to its obvious lack of any semblance of intellectual rigor, even by the standards of stinktanks, seems like a joke, but here is another example that there is good money and some power to be had in parroting the attitudes of the borg, while providing a parody/semblance of intellectual objectivity and expertise (e.g., Bellingcat).

  5. tying Saakashvili's appearance in American 'journalism' to the current world of the American borg: "Was the modern concept of ‘fake news’ born in Georgia a decade ago?" (MacDonald).
Saakashvili can still write PR for the Americans, but he is a man without a country, detested everywhere, with comic repercussions.

"Canadian sniper rifles expected to be in the hands of Ukrainian military by fall, MP says" (Pugliese) (every word is funny, but the last sentence is hilarious):
"While foreign affairs minister Chrystia Freeland has yet to sign off on the export permit for the rifles, Bezan said he anticipates she will do so as she is a strong supporter of Ukraine.
“If everything goes according to plan I would expect Freeland to sign off sometime this month,” he said. “I think the goal is to have (rifles) in their hands by the time of any fall-winter offensive in Donbass.”
Global Affairs Canada official John Babcock would not say whether Canadian taxpayers are financing the sale, and would not provide any other details about the arms deal. “The government has an obligation to protect confidential commercial information,” he stated in an email. “Further details related to export transactions (for example, names of exporting companies, financial values of individual contracts and transactions, and details of the specific technologies being exported) are protected due to the commercially confidential nature of such information.”

Shocking news!:  "Israel running campaign against Jeremy Corbyn" (Winstanley).  The extremely hands-on involvement of the Israeli government in what are supposed to be local issues was one of the big revelations of the first half of the Al Jazeera report (the second half, of course, on similar skulduggery in the US, has been shoahed as part of a deal to keep Qatar from being invaded!).

STFU

I think it is a sin to pass up a perfectly good headline staring you in the face:  "Death by 10,000 Cuts: The Zionist campaign to silence Palestine at SFSU" (Abdulhadi) should have been "STFU @ SFSU".  Unrelenting attacks on society, including lawfare, is why Le Merchant constantly finds himself in trouble, wherever and whenever he is.

Speaking of @, '@jack' has clearly mastered the art of pissing on your leg and telling you it is raining:  "Twitter CEO Says "We Haven't Banned Alex Jones As He Hasn't Violated Our Rules"" (Durden).  Of course, you may not be able to see what he writes . . .

"Christopher Steele, FBI's Confidential Human Source by Publius Tacitus".  An excellent fine reading on the recent revelations on Steele obtained by Judicial Watch which, naturally, didn't make the (((media))) (my emphasis in red):
". . . the FBI decision to get into bed with Christopher Steele pre-dated what the American people had been previously told about the FBI's relations with this foreign spy.
But there is a major unanswered question surrounding the decision to recruit and rely on Steele as a Confidential Informant--the U.S. and the United Kingdom have a standing agreement to not recruit each other's intelligence personnel for clandestine activities. Why was this exception made?
Christopher Steele was terminated as a Confidential Human Source for cause. We know this because that part is not redacted in the FBI documents:
CHS confirmed to an outside third party that CHS has a confidential relationship with the FBI. CHS was used as a source for an online article. In the article, CHS revealed CHS’ relationship with the FBI as well as information that CHS obtained and provided to FBI. On November 1, 2016, CHS confirmed all of this to the handling agent. At that time, handling agent advised CHS that the nature of the relationship between the FBI and CHS would change completely and that it was unlikely that the FBI would continue a relationship with the CHS. Additionally, handling agent advised that CHS was not to operate to obtain any intelligence whatsoever on behalf of the FBI.
Pay attention to the last item--Steele was told NOT to operate to get any info on behalf of the FBI. So what did he do? After Trump's election Steele provided one more report, which was passed directly to Senator John McCain who in turn passed it to James Comey. What did Comey swear to in the FISA renewal application in January 2017? Did he tell the judge that he was using information from a CHS that had been fired? I doubt it.
What was the precipitating incident or issue that led the FBI to recruit and sign up Steele as a Confidential Human Source? I am told by friends with knowledge of the matter that the impetus came because British Intelligence was passing information to the U.S. Intelligence Community. Did DNI Jim Clapper or CIA Director John Brennan contact the FBI and ask the FBI to bring Christopher Steele on board as an informant?  The Guardian reported that this is exactly what happened (but they got the timing wrong):
. . .  both US and UK intelligence sources acknowledge that GCHQ played an early, prominent role in kickstarting the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation, which began in late July 2016.
One source called the British eavesdropping agency the “principal whistleblower”.
According to the Guarding, GCHQ Chief Robert Hannigan spoke directly to John Brennan, who:
used GCHQ information and intelligence from other partners to launch a major inter-agency investigation. In late August and September Brennan gave a series of classified briefings to the Gang of Eight, the top-ranking Democratic and Republican leaders in the House and Senate.
This latest document dump makes it very clear that the FBI activity with respect to going after Trump on all matters Russia predates July 2016. More information needs to come out."

We're heading back to seeing the entire attack on Trump spearheaded by British intelligence, and well before it is supposed to have started.

"Helsinki summit’s positive fallout on Syria" (Bhadrakumar):
". . .  on August 2, the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force returned to its positions on the line of separation between Syria and the Israeli-occupied territories in the Golan Heights (which it had to leave in 2014 following Israeli pressure tactic to create conditions for Israel’s covert nexus with the terrorist groups.)"
On the other hand, ISIS, the gift that keeps on giving.  "US Warmachine Seeks New Pretext in Syria" (Cartalucci).  Not to mention al-Qaeda:  "Yemen - The Saudi-U.S.-Al-Qaeda Alliance Is Now Official 'News'" (Moon) and "AP Investigation: US allies, al-Qaida battle rebels in Yemen" (note the url).  Funny times for the Saudis to be boasting about their control of al-Qaeda and its use in conducting terrorist attacks on behalf of the princelings.

There is a noticeable sudden official confusion about the identity of terrorists and the importance of stopping terrorism:  "More Lies About the White Helmets" (Giraldi).  You would hope that the people who have been lead around by the nose and forced into ruinous wars all on the ostensible necessity of stopping terrorism would be furious with their lying politicians who are now literally endangering their lives by bringing undeniable terrorists in as their neighbors!!!

Official confusion is breaking out all over:  "US envoy who enabled Yemen war suddenly horrified by Saudi crimes". Reminds me of Freeland selling the tools of human rights repression to the Saudis, then whining with self-satisfied virtue signaling about Saudi human rights repression.

Commando hall of fame

"The Satanic Nature of the Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki" (Curtin).  Assholia.

Another excellent compendium of inconvenient facts:  "American Pravda: Jews and Nazis" (Unz):
"Brenner is a captive of his ideology and his beliefs, accepting without question the historical narrative with which he was raised. He seems to find nothing so strange about Eichmann being a philo-Semitic partner of the Jewish Zionists during the late 1930s and then suddenly being transformed into a mass-murderer of the European Jews in the early 1940s, willingly committing the monstrous crimes for which the Israelis later justly put him to death.

This is certainly possible, but I really wonder. A more cynical observer might find it a very odd coincidence that the first prominent Nazi the Israelis made such an effort to track down and kill had been their closest former political ally and collaborator. After Germany’s defeat, Eichmann had fled to Argentina and lived there quietly for a number of years until his name resurfaced in a celebrated mid-1950s controversy surrounding one of his leading Zionist partners, then living in Israel as a respected government official, who was denounced as a Nazi collaborator, eventually ruled innocent after a celebrated trial, but later assassinated by former members of Shamir’s faction.

Following that controversy in Israel, Eichmann supposedly gave a long personal interview to a Dutch Nazi journalist, and although it wasn’t published at the time, perhaps word of its existence may have gotten into circulation. The new state of Israel was just a few years old at that time, and very politically and economically fragile, desperately dependent upon the goodwill and support of America and Jewish donors worldwide. Their remarkable former Nazi alliance was a deeply-suppressed secret, whose public release might have had absolutely disastrous consequences.

According to the version of the interview later published as a two-part story in Life Magazine, Eichmann’s statements seemingly did not touch on the deadly topic of the 1930s Nazi-Zionist partnership. But surely Israeli leaders must have been terrified that they might not be so lucky the next time, so we may speculate that Eichmann’s elimination suddenly became a top national priority, and he was tracked down and captured in 1960. Presumably, harsh means were employed to persuade him not to reveal any of these dangerous pre-war secrets at his Jerusalem trial, and one might wonder if the reason he was famously kept in an enclosed glass booth was to ensure that the sound could quickly be cut off if he started to stray from the agreed upon script. All of this analysis is totally speculative, but Eichmann’s role as a central figure in the 1930s Nazi-Zionist partnership is undeniable historical fact."

"The Curious Case Of Bill Browder" (Luongo).  From 2017, back to the usual problem:  "Vladimir Putin and Russia versus Zionist Fairytales" (Butler):
"Back to Browder, his Hermitage was at one time was the largest foreign portfolio investor in Russia. That was before Vladimir Putin put a stop to the rape of Russia’s legacy and the theft of her assets. This is undeniable fact, and even the lowliest of Russian peasants know it by now. Browder, a Chicago Jew, set out to profit from Russian privatization after Yeltsin, but was thwarted like other sharks when Putin’s hammer fell on other mafiosos. RICO suits, libel cases, tax evasion charges, and ties to some of the seediest characters in world finance highlight the man who pushed the now famous Magnitsky Act into US foreign policy play. It’s no coincidence that Browder has emerged as a central player in the ongoing investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 elections. The privateer who made billions off Russia privatization turned into a human rights activist, and now he’s bent on seeing Donald Trump impeached!
The reader might be surprise to discover the source of the statement “Russia is more dangerous than ISIS” was actually Bill Browder, rather than rabid Arizona Senator John McCain. Or was McCain first? Both Russia haters told reporters of the grave danger to the US at the same time actually, back in May of 2017. Perhaps the narrative of US war hawk politicians and ousted financial henchmen has become just that convergent, but I somehow doubt the coincidence. Both Browder and McCain contend that Russian President Vladimir Putin used the country’s primary security agency, the Federal Security Service (FSB), to meddle in the U.S. presidential election, but neither has shown any proof of their claims. I mention this “coincidental” melding of message for obvious reasons. Or maybe McCain and Browder are now pals as this Browder Tweet on McCain returning to the Senate to do battle against Russia after his hospital stent. What’s most amazing to me is the way FOX and other networks readily use Browder and other suspected criminals without searching out counter arguments for their stories. Maybe Rupert Murdoch can answer that one. And so on, and so on, and so on…
Every time I start researching for one of these stories I end up in a deep and dark rabbit hole of collusion and confusion. In each and every case I end up with Vladimir Putin stoically defending a position against wild assertions with no proof whatsoever. The big picture of the “game” by now is like watching a schoolyard name calling and finger pointing contest. The iconic bullies and thugs are on one end of the yard, while their target stands virtually alone looking as innocent as a lamb for a variety of reasons. It’s become ridiculous, but there’s always more.
A story by Kevin Alfred Strom at the National Vanguard, which was originally published back in 2004, adds light to a facet of the Russia privatization profiteering, and ties into some recent stories of my own here on NEO. “The Silent Coup: Putin vs. the Oligarchs” deals with these ousted oligarchs and the western investors intent on carving up Russia after the wall came down. But more importantly, the piece cites Putin on the case of Jewish mafiosos always seeming to play a role. The story of influence by Israel, AIPAC, and a cadre of Jewish billionaires converge when Strom cites Vladimir Putin in his story. Notable Jewish figures like Boris Berezovsky, Mikhail Friedman, Vladimir Gusinsky, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, and Alexander Smolensky are highlighted in the story alongside Putin’s lesser publicized views on Zionists in Russia at the time of privatization. The piece also points out the Russian people’s utter hatred for most of these Jewish oligarchs, a hatred that has absolutely nothing to do with anti-Semitism by the way. Since Putin seized the Rothschild/Khodorkovsky share of Yukos Oil, Russia has been divesting herself of the only Zionist plot that matters, the ending of Jewish mafia/oligarch control of the country. Not many readers will realize the that Russia’s Central Bank (CBR) is a member of Rothschild BIS.
An article by Alexander Azadgan at KATEHON expands on the Jewish money component, and reiterates the possibility of Putin nationalizing the CBR. Given new sanctions by the US and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev describing them as “full scale economic war” waged on Russia, it’s important to observe Putin’s moves east and especially the new BRICS dealings. For Russians, it matters little if Vladimir Putin has 100 yachts and fifty mansions, as long as Russia is not raped and destroyed by the unscrupulous of the world. Putin’s job is clear, defend Russia – period. His compensation is of little consequence to his people. All we hear, read, and see about Putin’s Russia is from a London, Brussels, or Washington standpoint – never a Moscow one. The influence of Zionist bankers is well known to Russians, and almost unheard of by Americans. The enemy Russia is really against consists of Zionists and technocrats who do know the name of the game, and the public they use to do their bidding. In the same way the Jewish religion and Jewish people are used for the Zionist bankers’ purposes, the waiting public is leveraged through blind ignorance and propaganda against Russia. For those who believe alternative fairytales I can only say…"

President Jared can still receive his rightful praise as a macher even without a full Ultimate Deal if he can get rid of UNRWA, long a goal of the Zionists:  "No Deal of Century, Then? Palestine’s Abbas Calls Jared Kushner’s anti-Refugee push a ‘Conspiracy’".  The very concept that the Palestinians are 'refugees', meaning people who came from somewhere seeking refuge - that somewhere being the land the Khazars stole from them - rather than a bunch of random Arab grifters who decided to pick on the Jewish state for unwarranted gibs, is profoundly disturbing to the Khazars.

The script

Lest we forget (((who))) was/is behind calls for Wars For The Jews:  tweet (Chase Madar):
"New Yorker editor David Remnick, who in February 2003 busied himself with “Making A Case” for invading Iraq, also deserves blame https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newyorker.com/magazine/2003/02/03/making-a-case/amp …"
Exact same (((people))), making exact same arguments, laughably posing as patriotic 'fellow Americans', not one of them receiving anything but promotions for what they did, now whining for an attack on Iran! At some point, goyim, this becomes an IQ test that you are failing!

"The Rise and Continued Influence of the Neocons. The Project for the New American Century (PNAC)" (interview by Global Research of Robbie Martin; note that a false-flag anthrax attack was in Khazar 'script' from the beginning!) (my emphasis in red):
"So the first one is that how right after 9/11, several of these neocons, I think it’s Don and Fred Kagan, went on TV and radio kind of immediately after for at least a 24-hour 48-hour period after 9/11 and basically blamed Palestinians for the attack, and were basically outright calling for the U.S. to attack Palestine. And even saying that they had no evidence but we should just go and attack them. So could you talk about what happened there, and what was the effect there? Everyone kind of forgets about this but what happened there, and what do you think the effect of that was?

RM: You just opened up a really big can of worms with that question. Well, to fully answer that it would require a totally separate interview, but I’ll do my best to answer it in this short time that we have. What you’re describing is, what I would say, is the neocons flipping up and revealing too much of an early iteration of their script, than the rest of the consensus was ready to reveal or get on board with. And perhaps, even, they jumped ahead with something that the rest of the neocons already decided, we can’t go there. Because, and this is important to know, that Don Kagan is one of the only three authors credited as writing Rebuilding America’s Defenses, the infamous paper that PNAC released that says we need a new Pearl Harbor, a catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor.

Don Kagan is someone who just, mostly an obscure figure in this, but I’d like to believe that if he was saying that on the radio within 24 hours of 9/11, that it was something being heavily discussed within that community behind the scenes. And he and his son Fred Kagan are two of the most intellectual, influential neoconservatives in DC. Fred Kagan is behind the Iraq surge, he is also behind the Afghanistan surge for Obama, directly working under David Petraeus. So these are not just like random neocons. It’s important to stress that they are some of the most influential neocon brain-trust type people in DC even though they’re so relatively obscure… They’re not household names.

So to hear both of them saying that we need to clean out Palestine with the U.S. Delta Force raids and the full panoply of U.S. military tools and arsenal, it’s a very shocking thing to hear. Even though I’ve long believed that neocons are some of the most evil people on the planet, that was even surprising for me to hear. That they went ahead and openly said that the U.S. military should do that, and actually, in their broadcast they make it clear that they don’t even care who’s behind 9/11. Which is strange. They say that if we run around tracing the actual perpetrators, we’re just going to be wasting our time and we won’t get anywhere. So what they are saying is that we should just go attack all these countries anyways because even if they’re behind it or not, they hate us and want to kill us.

And Palestine was one of their primary targets to retaliate against in response to 9/11. Now that’s very strange when you look at the day of 9/11, and I’ve actually done a podcast on this, I call it the Palestinian Frame-up, on 9/11, there were four separate incidences that were run throughout U.S. media throughout the day of 9/11 that were attempting to blame Palestinians for the attacks before Bin Laden became the primary culprit that the U.S. media latched on to. So I find that very strange.

And I’m not going to try to explain it here during this interview, but you can look into that. It’s all documented. The news media played footage of Palestinians allegedly celebrating the attacks in the middle of a national emergency at 12 p.m. while thousands of people were still missing during the World Trade Center attacks. So this is the kind of stuff that U.S. media was doing.

So it’s very interesting for me to see neocons actually piggy-backing on that and saying we should attack Palestine. And that’s a rare thing, I think, to find neocons slipping up that badly. And I guess I find that clip particularly fascinating because it’s really one of the only ones like that out there, and to my knowledge, I’m the first one to find it by combing through all these archives. I’ve never heard of it before, never even heard of any neocons saying that before on record.

And then also something else interesting Don Kagan brings up in the recording, and maybe you were going to mention this next, but I’ll just say it because it’s so weird, as he says what would have happened, and keep in mind this is 9/12-01, one day after 9/11. He says, what would have happened if the terrorists had Anthrax on that plane?

GR: Right. Yeah.

RM: And on October 5, weaponized anthrax was sent through the U.S. mail. While the Bush Administration was already inoculated with Cipro. the antibiotic taken to prevent Anthrax infection. So there’s a lot of interesting and very scary questions that are raised just by that single clip. and I’m…to this day it’s still a mystery to me."
We should add 'the script' to 'the visit' in our collection of technical terms in discussing Khazar malfeasance.

"AngloZionist Attack Options Against Iran" (The Saker).  Straightforward utter refutation of the bizarre Margolis piece on Iran.  Tl;dr?  The US, with its usual carpet bombing, can really fuck up Iran, but at a cost that is not bearable by the American empire.  We always have to bear in mind that there is not going to be an American military attack on Iran.  Why do you think the Americans are now risking and straining all their foreign relations with their allies in a hopeless sanction war?  They wouldn't need to piss so many people off if there was any chance of a real war.

"Washington Post Blames Iran For Trump's Unilateral Sanctions Against It" (Moon).  "Can the US Make Iran Sanctions Stick?" (Dorsey).  The weirdness is the huge amount of trade with the UAE, while MbZ promotes American sanctions!  As usual, Zionist pressure for Iranian regime change is going to further weaken the American empire, while not actually achieving regime change.  It is as if, every day, the Americans wake up and say 'what can we do today to weaken our empire?'.

Cooper's de Kooning?

I read the painting story and never thought of 'Cooper', but there is a remarkable resemblance to the sketch - hairline, ears and strikingly triangular shape of face:  "160M Dollar Painting and D.B. Cooper." (Quasar).  The sketch, the approximate age, and the derring-do isn't much to go on.

Who is allowed to hate?

It would be funny if the War For The Jews against Syria created cooperation which damaged the prospects of the War For The Jews against Russia:  "Exclusive: Despite tensions, Russia seeks U.S. help to rebuild Syria".  See also:  "Russia to deploy military police on Golan Heights" and "China Says Willing to Team with Syria’s Assad in Push to Retake Territory" (!) (the Chinese are always mad at Turkish efforts to stir up problems amongst 'Turkic' peoples in western China, with Turkish irredentism an ongoing problem in many places, so helping to remove Turkey from Syria is good payback).  "Turkey in panic as Assad seeks to reclaim occupied territory" (Bhadrakumar).

Classic Sailer:  "Vox: "In Defense of Sarah Jeong:" She Would Never Insult Jews, Because Jews Are Marginalized, But She Insults Whites, Because Whites Are Powerful".  I'm surprised the NYT is going to the mat on this, as allowing racist attacks on the basis that it is impossible to be racist against a powerful group - this feels Foucauldian - opens a big door for attacks on the most powerful, tiny group, which is represented, of course, by the JYT.  It is also funny that their defenses alternate between the philosophical one about the nature of 'racism' and power, and the 'can't you take a joke' theory, generally beloved by racists, that her tweets were just parodies of the attacks being made against her.

See the remarkable piece by Andrew Sullivan and the even more remarkable responses to him:  "When Racism Is Fit to Print" (Jeong is the first part, but the rest of the column is also interesting) (see comment by Anon[422] which comes with a disclaimer due to its obvious dangerousness).  Key sentence:
"What many don’t seem to understand is that their view of racism isn’t shared by the public at large, and that the defense of it by institutions like the New York Times will only serve to deepen the kind of resentment that gave us Trump."
The Deplorables have no power (and remember that the 'Deplorables' concept was informally focused grouped by Killary at 'donor' parties on Martha's Vineyard, where it went over really well, prompting her to take it on the campaign road where it may have cost her the election), but they are fair game for racist attacks as they share a skin color with rich assholes like Trump, and someone in a position of extreme privilege, like a writer for the NYT or any random Khazar, has complete carte blanche to attack people based on the group they are said to be in just because the writer is powerless due to being in the non-white group (of course, as Fellow White People know, the Khazars shift seamlessly from being 'white' to being an oppressed minority depending on where the most rhetorical benefit happens to lie).  That seems to be about as racist a way of being racist as you can be!  It is fundamentally better to hate based on class rather than race, which tends to confuse things.

"Silence on U.S. Meddling Abroad" (Hornberger).

"‘Hilarious & paranoid’: Lavrov laughs at idea that Russia uses memes to destroy US democracy". It's embarrassing to make such a big deal out of an assertion of Russian meddling based on an assumption that your 'democracy' is so precarious that a hundred thousand dollars worth of click bait ads can completely undermine it.  A real Empire wouldn't be so delicate.

Did Rex stop a heist, like a policeman stopping a bank robbery (literally)?:  "Saudi Arabia Planned to Invade Qatar Last Summer. Rex Tillerson’s Efforts to Stop It May Have Cost Him His Job." (Emmons):
"At the time, Kushner was personally handling much of the administration’s diplomacy with the Gulf states, and the leaders of Saudi Arabia and the UAE were choosing to go through him instead of the U.S. defense or intelligence establishments. Kushner communicated directly with the crown princes of Saudi Arabia and the UAE using the encrypted messaging service WhatsApp.
Some Gulf watchers speculate that the incentive for the planned invasion may have been partly financial. Saudi Arabia’s “cradle to grave” welfare system relies on high oil prices, which plummeted in 2014 and have not fully recovered. Since the current king came to power in 2015, the country has spent more than a third of its $737 billion in reserves, and last year, the Saudi economy entered a painful recession. In response, the government has looked for ways to raise money, including by selling shares in the state-owned oil company, Saudi Aramco.
“It’s unsustainable,” said Bruce Riedel, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institute and 30-year CIA officer, in a lecture last November. “In the three years since [King Salman] ascended to the throne, one third of Saudi Arabia’s reserves have already been spent. You don’t need to have an MBA from the Wharton school to figure out what that means six years from now.”
If the Saudis had succeeded in seizing Doha, they would potentially have been able to gain access to the country’s $320 billion sovereign wealth fund. In November of last year, months after the plan collapsed, the Saudi crown prince rounded up and detained dozens of his relatives in the Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, forcing them to sign over billions in privately held assets. The government justified the detentions as a corruption crackdown, but it allowed the state to recoup billions in assets for government use."

"Revolving Door: How Security Clearances Perpetuate Top-Level Corruption in the United States" (Giraldi):
"An equitable solution on the clearance issue more generally speaking would be to cancel all security clearances on the day when one leaves government service unless there is a direct and immediate transition to a private sector position that absolutely requires such a qualification. That would be fair to lower level employees seeking a second source of income and it would also eliminate many of those who are merely cashing in on their presumed access. As it is a rational solution it is very unlikely that it will be entertained by either the White House or by Congress."

'Summit' Trump

"Washington Renders itself Irrelevant by Pushing China and Russia Closer Together" (Berger).  The most striking thing throughout is that the Americans always act in such a way to cause the thing they don't want.  Over and over!

See also:  "How BRICS Plus Clashes with the US Economic War on Iran" (Escobar):
"The mere threat of a US attack on Iran has engineered a rise in oil prices. US reliance on Middle East Oil is going down while fracking – boosted by higher prices – is ramping up. The threat of war increases with Tehran now overtly referring to its power to cripple global energy supplies literally overnight.

In parallel the Houthis, by forcing the Yemen-bombing House of Saud to stop oil shipments via the Bab al-Mandeb port, are configuring the Strait of Hormuz and scores of easily targeted pipelines as even more crucial to the flow of energy that makes the West tick.

If there ever was a US attack on Iran, Persian Gulf analysts stress only Russia, Nigeria and Venezuela might be able to provide enough oil and gas to make up for lost supplies to the West. That’s not exactly what the Trump administration is looking for."
You have to assume the Americans don't want to push Turkey, a NATO member (at least in name), into the Russia/China orbit, yet it is impossible to imagine a series of American acts that could more quickly do just that.  Some would say this is inevitable, but it is not, as Turkey literally straddles the line between Europe and the Russia/China land mass, and could have gone either way.

"Saudi King overrules Crown Prince, Rejects Trump’s Sell-Out of Palestinians".  Big if true, and explains why President Jared's road to macherhood has been stalled.  It may be that there is an anti-Muslim action so vile that the sane Saudi royals fear that endorsing it might lead to the loss of their heads from an outraged people and army.  Note that Trump largely kept out of this, meaning he can blame the whole thing on President Jared and move on without any loss of face.

"More evidence of Libya blowback: UK Navy rescued Manchester suicide bomber" (Kallio/Norton).  Libya and Syria have really done a number on the western mythologies surrounding the Global War On Terror, and the cynical ways it has been manipulated to achieve other goals, mostly Zionist.  Putin stands out in stark contrast to the Anglo-American Zionist-controlled governments in actually taking terrorism seriously as a threat that needs to be stopped, not coddled in various proxy armies.  Of course, the domestic terrorism that inevitably follows - note the enthusiasm to bring the Islamist terrorist White Helmets to the West to wreck havoc, an action which seems utterly insane on the surface! -is regarded as a good thing as it provides the PR for more Wars For The Jews and more loss of freedoms, accepted as part of the necessity of keeping scared people safe.

"Why will the US leave Syria soon? The Kurds are waking up." (Magnier). An easy out for Trump, in advance of American midterm elections, who can crow 'mission accomplished' in defeating ISIS (highly ironic given that ISIS was, and remains, Americans true 'greatest ally' - unlike Le Merchant! - but un-woke Americans won't notice), and show himself photographed with 'hero' American troops (actually war criminals of the worst sort) returning home.

"Israel 'caught off guard' by Trump's offer to meet Iran's Rouhani".  The main problem in the fine art of gentile management are those goyim who take the shekels and then don't follow instructions.  Does Trump see himself in the history books as 'Summit' Trump, the man who brought peace to the world by ending wars and threats of wars against North Korea, Afghanistan, Syria, Russia, and Iran?

"Has US-Iran conversation begun already?" (Bhadrakumar). When the history is written and the old archives investigated, there always turn out to be back-channel communications.  It doesn't matter how much the two countries claim to hate each other, and diplomacy continues even during wars.  We know that the Trump Administration wants to get out of Afghanistan, and we know they need Iranian cooperation to do that, so we know there is an anti-Zionist wedge available to circumvent this War For The Jews against Iran, in this case an impossible war.  You can even see Trump in the future publicly thanking Rouhani for his help in the quintessential MAGA action of getting the US out of Afghanistan.  Iran is another country that actively fights terror - much of it (MEK and Sunni Islamist extremism) fostered by the Americans and Israelis - so there is an actual commonality of Iranian interests/values, with real, non-Zionist, American interests/values.

"West Fumes as US Meddling in Cambodian Elections is Foiled" (Thomas).  Irony sails right over the heads of supremacists like Americans.  Isn't interfering in elections the Worst Thing You Can Do, worthy of starting a WWIII over?  See also here.  'Anti-diplomatic' actions worthy of (yet more!) American sanctions are winning an election the Americans don't want you to win:  "US sanctions loom over Hun Sen’s ‘illegitimate’ polls".

The time between the election and The Visit (taking the shekels) is surely faster than the speed of light:  "Politics in bad faith: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez campaigns in Michigan":
"When a WSWS reporter asked the candidates at the post-rally press briefing in Detroit, “Do both of you support withdrawing all US troops from the Middle East and Africa?” El-Sayed gave an evasive non-answer: “We’ve got to make sure that we are focused on a foreign policy that articulates what we all can do when we come together around a more peaceful world.”

A staffer immediately attempted to conclude the briefing. When the reporter restated the question, “Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, are you anti-war? Do you support withdrawing all US troops from the Middle East?”

She replied, “I’m sorry, I’m here to support Abdul.”"

Just war

"Rudy Sure Says a Lot of Weird Things" (Marshall).  Rudy from July of 2016, already seeming to fire a warning shot that Israel might find itself implicated if this line of inquiry were carried to its logical conclusion (of course, in beshekeled Washington, any possible threat to Israel is a no-go zone, and even now, that would be Trump's nuclear option).  Was this just another example of Rudy's undisciplined way of talking, or was he already seeing the possible dangers lying ahead? This was at a time when Trump and Giuliani were trying to score political points off Clinton's cavalier attitude towards security of her emails.  These emails are already starting to seem like bait (Mifsud's original approach to Papadopoulos was that he had access to Russian dirt on Clinton in the form of emails).  You almost have to wonder if all the talk of Hillary's lousy email security was in fact part of the sting, as it made plausible the idea that the Russians might have them!

Speaking of bait (one big unanswered issue is the extent to which Obama Administration officials were involved in the Clinton campaign dirty tricks, another 'nuclear option' avenue for Trump to explore should he have to):  "Five Clues Don Jr.’s Trump Tower Meeting Was Set Up as Dem Dirty Trick" (Klein) (Rinat Akhmetshin sure gets around!):
"4 – A key participant at the Trump Tower meeting said that he “knows” Hillary Clinton and has a personal relationship with her that dates back to the late-1990s. Besides describing a direct connection to Clinton, Russian-born Washington lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin also testified that he “knew some people who worked on” Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. Akhmetshin further revealed that the same day of the Trump Tower meeting he met with a Clinton associate after the confab and possibly also just before.
In his senate testimony (cited above), Akhmetshin related a personal connection to Clinton via attorney Ed Lieberman, whose late wife Evelyn previously served as Clinton’s chief of staff when she was First Lady. Evelyn Lieberman also served as Bill Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, and famously transferred Monica Lewinsky out of the White House to the Defense Department.
The New York Times previously reported that Lieberman in 1998 arranged for Akhmitshi’s position at “an organization pushing what he described as a pro-democracy agenda for Kazakhstan.” Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh says he met Akhmetshin through Lieberman.
In his Senate testimony, Akhmetshin described taking an Acela train to New York the day of the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting, and says that Lieberman “may” have been with him on the train.
Akhmetshin says his dealings with Lieberman in New York that day were “personal” and centered on a scholarship program that he claims Lieberman started. “And he was in New York that day to discuss arrangements with Metropolitan Museum with kind of taking care of that scholarship award,” Akhmetshi stated.
Akhmetshin says that while he was in New York, he had lunch with Veselnitskaya, who told him about the scheduled meeting that day at Trump Tower, but she didn’t say anything about him attending.
He claims that after he had lunch with Veselnitskaya, she called him and asked him to attend the Trump Tower meeting, but she didn’t suggest any role he would play at the meeting or why he should attend.
After the meeting at Trump Tower, Akhmetshin says he went to dinner and a play with Lieberman, and the subject of the meeting that same day did not come up in his conversations with Lieberman at dinner or during the play. Akhmetshin also stated in the testimony that he was not asked to keep the meeting confidential.
In other words, Akhmetshin is claiming that he attended a meeting at the campaign headquarters of Clinton’s presidential challenger with that challenger’s son and other top Trump staffers, and that same night Akhmetshin did not even mention the meeting to his friend Lieberman, a Clinton associate.
He also said he had drinks that same night with another “friend” but could not remember who that friend was.
Later, when Akhmetshin described disclosing another matter to journalist friends, he was questioned about his claim that he didn’t tell Lieberman that same night about the Trump Jr. meeting, yet he seemingly evidenced a lack of discretion with reporters.
During further questioning in Senate testimony, Akhmetshin admited to possibly telling Clinton associate Lieberman about the Trump Tower meeting, but says he may have told him on another day and not the night they met the same day as the meeting.
Akhmetshin detailed knowing Hillary Clinton since the late 1990s and last seeing her at Evelyn Lieberman’s 2015 funeral. In the same testimony, Akhmetshin says he “knew” some of the people who worked on Clinton’s 2016 campaign
5 – Akhmetshin admits to being present at the same security conference in Canada where Sen. John McCain was reportedly first informed about the anti-Trump dossier. Akhmetshin says he might have spoken to McCain and the senator’s assistant David J. Kramer at the Halifax International Security Forum in 2016.
It was at the security conference in Canada in November 2016 that McCain says he was approached by Sir Andrew Wood, a former British ambassador to Moscow and friend of ex-British spy Christopher Steele, the author of the dossier.
Wood briefed McCain and Kramer, a former State Department official and longtime McCain associate who agreed to meet Steele in London for a fuller briefing on the dossier contents.
The Washington Posreported in February that after meeting with Steele, Kramer went to Washington and received the dossier document directly from Fusion GPS. McCain then passed the dossier to FBI Director James Comey.
In a New York Times oped in January, GPS co-founders Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritch wrote that they helped McCain share their anti-Trump dossier with the Obama-era intelligence community via an unnamed “emissary.”
In testimony his Senate testimony, Akhmetsin describes attending the Halifax security conference in 2016, but claimed he played no role in the contact where Wood connected with McCain and Kramer to inform them of the dossier’s existence. Ahmetshin also claimed he was not aware of the dossier at the time.
Akhmetshin said he “might” have “said hi” to McCain but could not say for sure. In other words, Akhmetshin is claiming he is not certain whether he spoke to one of the most famous American politicians, something that would seemingly be quite memorable to most people.
The Russian lobbyist also said he “might have spoken with” Kramer but would not give a definitive answer.
Akhmetshin also stated that he had a previous relationship with McCain. “I knew Senator McCain when he was running years ago because I had friends who were — did advance work for him,” Akmetshin said, referring to McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign."
"Seven Mysterious Preludes to the FBI's Trump-Russia Probe" (Smith):
"Before the FBI began investigating the Trump campaign in an operation code-named “Crossfire Hurricane,” there were at least seven different instances when campaign advisers were approached with Russia-related offers. Most of those contacts — including Donald Trump Jr.’s much-publicized meeting with a Russian lawyer and others in June 2016 — offered the prospect of information damaging to Donald Trump’s Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.
Two of these approaches were made by one U.S. government informant already publicly identified as such, Stefan Halper. Another was made by a man who swore in court that he had worked as an FBI informant. Two others were made by figures associated with Western intelligence agencies. Another two approaches included political operatives, one foreign, with ties to the Clintons.
President Obama’s director of national intelligence, James Clapper, has asserted that dispatching Halper to follow the Trump campaign "protected" it from the Russians.
But Mark Wauck, a former FBI agent with experience in such tactics, sees an effort at entrapment. “What appear to have been repeated attempts to implicate the Trump campaign, in some sort of quid pro quo arrangement with Russians who claimed to have ‘dirt’ on Hillary,” Wauck told RealClearInvestigations, “look like efforts to manufacture evidence against members of the Trump campaign or create pretexts to investigate it.”
At the same time, in early spring, the Clinton campaign commissioned, through its law firm, the Washington, D.C.-based communications firm Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on the Trump campaign’s alleged ties to Russia. The result was the infamous 35-page dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele.
It appears that neither the FBI nor the Clinton campaign’s paid operatives came up with anything of substance. The seven approaches to the Trump campaign, as far as is publicly known, generated no evidence of coordination with the Russians. No evidence has emerged to change former FBI Director James B. Comey’s description of key parts of the Steele dossier as “salacious and unverified.”
Nevertheless, the report of one person who reached out to a Trump adviser, George Papadopoulos, was reportedly used to launch an official Department of Justice and FBI probe into the Trump campaign and the dossier was evidently a key piece of evidence used to secure a FISA surveillance warrant against Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page."
and:
". . . Papadopoulos never mentioned Clinton emails to anyone in the campaign. But over a drink at a London bar, he told Australia’s high commissioner to the United Kingdom, Alexander Downer, that the Russians had some potentially damaging information on Clinton.
Downer, according to an interview in the Australian press, had asked for the meeting with the then 28-year-old Trump aide. Like Mifsud, Downer was an associate of several former high-ranking British intelligence officials. Downer also had long ties to the Clinton Foundation, once arranging for Australia to donate $25 million to its AIDS prevention and education efforts.
Downer’s was the second approach made to the Trump campaign. Congressional investigators believe that Downer may have been assigned to collect whatever damaging information that the Maltese academic deposited with Papadopoulos.
Shortly after the meeting, Downer contacted the U.S. Embassy in London to report his conversation with an American citizen. This was unusual. As Australia’s former foreign minister, a post charged with overseeing the country’s foreign intelligence service, Downer knew that such information must be shared through official intelligence channels. The person he instead chose to share this information with was Elizabeth Dibble, the U.S. Embassy’s deputy chief of mission who had previously served under Hillary Clinton as the principal deputy assistant secretary of state.
It is unclear whether Dibble passed the information directly to the DOJ or to her superiors at the State Department. In any case, nearly two months passed before the FBI launched its full investigation into Trump/Russia ties -- and another 18 months would pass before it was leaked to the New York Times that that decision was a response to the Downer tip.
The reasons for the two-month delay are not clear. Dibble did not respond to request for comment. Nor did DOJ spokespersons."
and (!):
"The May contacts included another, frequently overlooked, Russia-related approach to the Trump campaign. That month, conservative political activist Paul Erickson emailed Trump campaign adviser Rick Dearborn under the subject line “Kremlin Connection.” Erickson sought to set up a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Erickson wrote: “Putin is deadly serious about building a good relationship with Mr. Trump. He wants to extend an invitation to Mr. Trump to visit him in the Kremlin before the election.”
Although Erickson’s contact fits a pattern of efforts to connect the Trump campaign to Russia, he is the only figure who approached the campaign without any discernible ties to the FBI, Western intelligence agencies, the Clintons – or the Russians. This makes his offer to broker a meeting with Putin – a highly improbable proposal that would never normally be communicated through such channels – all the more mysterious.
Efforts to reach Erickson for comment were unsuccessful."
and:
"The opening of the FBI’s full investigation into the Trump campaign on July 31, 2016 was an extraordinary event, launched despite the DOJ’s traditional reluctance to investigate political campaigns in the middle of an election. That decision has raised even more questions following the report this month from the Justice Department’s inspector general, which detailed many instances of anti-Trump bias in the upper echelons of the FBI.

“Crossfire Hurricane” was reportedly initiated because of the vague tip regarding Russian dirt that Alexander Downer had passed on to the State Department almost two months earlier. The six other Russia-related approaches that occurred before July 31 might have shown the FBI that the Trump team was free of Russian influence.

All the offers were rebuffed or ignored — except Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer who was partnered with a political operative paid by Hillary Clinton and who provided no untoward information.

Nevertheless, the FBI still opened its investigation. In October, the bureau also used the Clinton-financed Steele dossier to obtain a FISA warrant on Carter Page – which allowed it to monitor his communications and those of anyone on the Trump team with whom he was in contact.

And in May 2017, much of this information was cited to justify appointing Robert Mueller as special counsel."
Smith and Klein should be read together.  There is a lot more weirdness here, including a host of suspicious connections to Clinton from all the people leaving out email bait, than there are in most conspiracy theories.

"Legendary journalist Seymour Hersh on the truth behind novichok, the Russian hacking and 9/11" (El-Gingihy).  Awfully fucking woke - note his comments on Assad - with a strange lacuna on the JFK assassination, though maybe that's the price of access to the CIA (my emphasis in red):
"It is not long before we discuss contemporaneous events including the alleged Russian hacking of the US presidential election. Hersh has vociferously strong opinions on the subject and smells a rat. He states that there is “a great deal of animosity towards Russia. All of that stuff about Russia hacking the election appears to be preposterous.” He has been researching the subject but is not ready to go public… yet.
Hersh quips that the last time he heard the US defence establishment have high confidence, it was regarding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. He points out that the NSA only has moderate confidence in Russian hacking. It is a point that has been made before; there has been no national intelligence estimate in which all 17 US intelligence agencies would have to sign off. “When the intel community wants to say something they say it… High confidence effectively means that they don’t know.”
Hersh is also on the record as stating that the official version of the Skripal poisoning does not stand up to scrutiny. He tells me: “The story of novichok poisoning has not held up very well. He [Skripal] was most likely talking to British intelligence services about Russian organised crime.” Certainly the unfortunate turn of events with the contamination of other victims suggests a sloppiness more in keeping with organised crime elements rather than state-sponsored actions. Hersh modestly points out that these are just his opinions. Opinions or not, he is scathing on Obama – “a trimmer … articulate [but] … far from a radical … a middleman”. During his Goldsmiths talk, he remarks that liberal critics underestimate Trump at their peril.
He ends the Goldsmiths talk with an anecdote about having lunch with his sources in the wake of 9/11. He vents his anger at the agencies for not sharing information. One of his CIA sources fires back: “Sy you still don’t get it after all these years – the FBI catches bank robbers, the CIA robs banks.” It is a delicious, if cryptic aphorism.
I ask about how the war in Syria has been a divisive issue for the left. Hersh wrote a series of controversial long reads for the London Review of Books insinuating that the Assad government might not have been responsible for the chemical weapons attacks. He had been writing for decades at The New Yorker, which turned down these pieces leading to a falling out.
In “The Red Line and the Rat Line”, Hersh argued that both sides had access to chemical weapons. He even went one better and postulated that the rebels or even the Erdogan Turkish government may have carried out a false flag attack to twist Obama’s arm into escalating US involvement as this would have crossed his self-imposed red line.
Hersh also highlighted that a “rat line” of arms had been set up between Libya and Syria by the CIA with the involvement of MI6 using front companies. This was designed to supply the Syrian rebels including jihadi groups in their efforts to oust Assad – startling revelation considering that the US is prosecuting a war on terror and intending to neutralise Islamic State.
Hersh deals with criticisms of the Assad regime one by one. He brusquely tells me: “If Assad loses he will be hanging from a lamp-post” with his wife and children alongside him. He elaborates that, “Heinous things happen in war”, recounting the Allies’ firebombing of Japanese and German cities as well as the dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during the Second World War. His point is that all sides commit war crimes.
In fact, he tells me that the US has also deployed barrel bombs. One could obviously add much more to this catalogue including the use of Agent Orange and other chemicals in Vietnam as well as the use of white phosphorus and depleted uranium in Iraq. “Where is the moral equivalence?” Hersh asks. All of which reminds me of gung-ho US General Curtis LeMay’s infamous statement that if he had lost the Second World War, he would have been tried for war crimes.
Hersh tells me that this is “as close to a just war” because Assad is fighting to prevent an Islamist takeover and the imposition of Sharia law."
