Seen from space

"Why do we Allow Canadian Nurses and Doctors to Commute Daily to Work From Windsor to Detroit when All Other Canadians are Required to Self Isolate for 14 Days, given that it is More Dangerous to visit Detroit today than it was to visit Wuhan, China at the end of January?" (Brett):
"The simple solution is that those that work in the USA should be housed in the USA (at the expense of U.S. hospitals) for the duration of the COVID-19 crisis.   Further, Canadian nurses and doctors working at U.S. hospitals should not be allowed to return to Canada until they self isolate in the USA for a fourteen day period, and can provide a recent test for COVID-19 showing that they are not infected."
"Yes, that Caller-Times photo of people at a Corpus Christi beach was real." (Cavazos Beckett).

"Fed’s Seizing Masks, Protection Gear, Giving it to Kushner Owned Companies and, of course Israeli Army".  It's quite the little earner for President Jared and his brother.

"Saudi Hospitals Alerted To "Influx Of VIPs" As 150 Members Of Royal Family Have COVID-19" (Durden).  "COVID-19: Devastated Saudi Royal Family Seeks to End Yemen War" (Lauria).  I can't help but think that this is an excellent cover for more MbS purging of possible political rivals.

The Nazi is using the virus to sneak in some immoral/illegal arms dealing:  tweet (Dimitri Lascaris):
"Just when Canadians are distracted by an unprecedented public health and economic crisis, @JustinTrudeau’s government lifts the suspension of arms sales to the monstrous Saudi autocracy, one of the world’s worst human rights violators.… #HumanRights"
"Most New York Coronavirus Cases Came From Europe, Genomes Show" (Zimmer).  Sailer has been joking about how much early transmission came from ski resorts.  I'm sure a lot of transmission also comes from the European brothels and high-end drinking and gambling establishments favored by the religiously devout Saudi princelings.  We could call this forensic genetics, and it should have allowed the Chinese to trace this pandemic right back to Fort Detrick.

"How Delays and Unheeded Warnings Hindered New York’s Virus Fight" (Goodman) (it tells you all you need to know about Assholia that there was utter corruption/incompetence at all three levels of government):
"A 39-year-old woman took Flight 701 from Doha, Qatar, to John F. Kennedy International Airport in late February, the final leg of her trip home to New York City from Iran.

A week later, on March 1, she tested positive for the coronavirus, the first confirmed case in New York City of an outbreak that had already devastated China and parts of Europe. The next day, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, appearing with Mayor Bill de Blasio at a news conference, promised that health investigators would track down every person on the woman’s flight. But no one did.

A day later, a lawyer from New Rochelle, a New York City suburb, tested positive for the virus — an alarming sign because he had not traveled to any affected country, suggesting community spread was already taking place.
Although city investigators had traced the lawyer’s whereabouts and connections to the most crowded corridors of Manhattan, the state’s efforts focused on the suburb, not the city, and Mr. de Blasio urged the public not to worry. “We’ll tell you the second we think you should change your behavior,” the mayor said on March 5."
Tweet (Yasha Levine):
"Remember when they showed footage of a mass grave in Iran and said it proved how evil that country was? Yeah...time for regime change in America. HELP US!"
Reply (Bad actor):
"And not only that, Yasha. We can also "see it" from space just like in Iran.
It's a matter of time for NYT & Bellingcat to be on the case."
Assholian actions throughout have been extremely Clarifying:  "It’s now the very ugly American pandemic" (Madsen):
"The world will not soon forget the despicable nature of the Trump administration during the worst global pandemic since the 1918 flu. Trump, aided and abetted by a rogues’ gallery of misfits, hyper-xenophobes, and egotistical homosexuals, has all but ruined any good will the United States still maintained in the world prior to the coronavirus outbreak.

Relegated to pariah nation status by the combined efforts of Trump; the militantly arrogant homosexual and acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell; the swaggering warhawk and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo; and the Nazi-like presidential counselors Jared Kushner and Stephen Miller, the United States has made enemies among friends and allies in adopting a go-it-alone policy in dealing with Covid-19.

Two former host lands for U.S. Navy installations, Barbados and Newfoundland, have turned a jaundiced eye toward the United States. This follows decades of fond memories of the American naval presence and Americans in general. The Trump administration’s diversion of ventilators and other critical medical supplies from Barbados and Newfoundland came as a profound shock to the residents of the Caribbean island and Canadian province.

According to various news reports, including from Barbados, the United States seized 20 ventilators donated to Barbados by the pop music star Rihanna, who hails from the island nation. Rihanna had purchased the ventilators for $700,000 before they were confiscated on the orders of a medical supply task force appointed by Donald Trump. The group is headed by his Jewish Mafia-connected son-in-law, Jared Kushner. The same Trump task force has also been behind the pirating of medical supplies, including ventilators, destined for Germany, France, Canada, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and other countries and states. The Barbados Ministry of Health in investigating the American theft of the ventilators, which came as Barbados registered its first death from Covid-19, an 81-year old man.
Barbados will long remember that in a time of crisis it was the United States that stole its medical equipment and Cuba that dispatched 100 intensive care specialists to the island."

This is the big conspiracy, masses of legislation without any identifiable origin - pages and pages magically appeared out of thin air - which just happen to hand trillions to (((hedge fund owners))):  tweet (Manu Raju):
"On conference call today, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse asked Pence and Mnuchin about tax breaks in the stimulus that benefit wealthy taxpayers. He wanted to know who asked for the provision to be included, and Mnuchin said it was a product of bipartisan Senate task force talks."
We're going to be seeing a lot more denialism, grounded in failure to test, as the grifters have got the loot based on the pandemic, but now want to go back to their old operations, which require a premature opening of the economy.

"EXCLUSIVE: A changed name, an alleged fraudster dad and a VERY questionable resume: So how did Donald Trump's favorite White House correspondent pass security checks to become the social-distancing-defying briefing-crasher?" (Boswell). To be fair, she's no worse than the collection of professional liars and PR hacks that constitute the Washington press corps.

Pandemic Peak Nears

"Coronavirus Devastates Italy: Is It the Result of Globalism and Free Trade?" (Giraldi).  The simplest non-conspiratorial reason for why Italy was hit so hard.  Globalism.

"What’s Next: ‘Italexit’ or a European Union Crack-Up?" (Giubilei).  I would have thought if Italy goes, so goes the whole thing.

"Troops believe coronavirus is hurting military readiness, new Military Times Poll shows" (Shane III).  Why Trump probably can't start WWIII, even if he wanted to, threats notwithstanding.

It's quite the thing when you have to resign for publicly scolding - over a warship PA system, no less - an underling for being 'stupid' enough to risk airing internal military issues in public!:  "Acting Secretary Of The Navy Resigns After Calling Ousted Aircraft Carrier Captain 'Stupid'" (Scarce).

"Fact check: Trump falsely claims he 'inherited' the faulty coronavirus test. It was developed this year" (Dale).  Trump's been around long enough that blaming everything on Barry no longer works.

The first step to ending the lockdown is to stop the few tests that are being done, so the numbers start to look better!  "Federal Support Ends For Coronavirus Testing Sites As Pandemic Peak Nears" (Brady).  See "Big pool of coronavirus cases going undetected, German researchers say" (Lew/Lau).

I think we can take it as a given that the US and probably the UK lockdowns, such as they are, will be ended prematurely, with the only issue being whether conditions will get so bad that a second lockdown, of an even longer duration, will be required.  It is always going to be an excellent bet that the politicians will fuck it up.  "Martin Wolf and Wishful Thinking on Ending Coronavirus Lockdowns" (Smith).

Tweet (Kevin Gosztola):
"Aerial footage of a failed state"
This is a stunning collection of Boris-ass-covering bullshit from Globo-homo-Rothschild-o:  "Special Report: Johnson listened to his scientists about coronavirus - but they were slow to sound the alarm".

The virus and the reaction to it accelerates and accentuates 'survival of the fittest':  "Coronavirus could leave the world an even more unequal place. That would be a real disaster" (Tang).

We live in such a conspiracy-rich environment, right out on the surface, that it seems superfluous to speculate about minor details like who made the virus, how did it end up in China, how did the US lawmakers have thousands of pages of virus-specific legislation immediately at hand when the crisis struck, gifting trillions to the 0.1%, and so on:  "Bioweapons, Bioweapons, Who’s Wielding the COVID-19 Bioweapon?" (Butler).

"Who Profits From the Pandemic?" (Escobar).  A good list of all the outrageous profiteering.  Also, the collapse of the huge world-wide aviation industry (silver lining is that this will help, a lot, with global warming).  And, of course, the Mark of the Beast:
"A social credit system is something that China set up already in 2014. Before the end of 2020, every Chinese citizen will be assigned his/her own credit score – a de facto “dynamic profile”, elaborated with extensive use of AI and the internet of things (IoT), including ubiquitous facial recognition technology. This implies, of course, 24/7 surveillance, complete with Blade Runner-style roving robotic birds.

The U.S., the U.K., France, Germany, Canada, Russia and India may not be far behind. Germany, for instance, is tweaking its universal credit rating system, SCHUFA. France has an ID app very similar to the Chinese model, verified by facial recognition.

Mandatory vaccination is Bill Gates’s dream, working in conjunction with the WHO, the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Big Pharma. He wants “billions of doses” to be enforced over the Global South. And it could be a cover to everyone getting a digital implant.

Here it is, in his own words. At 34:15: “Eventually what we’ll have to have is certificates of who’s a recovered person, who’s a vaccinated person…Because you don’t want people moving around the world where you’ll have some countries that won’t have it under control, sadly. You don’t want to completely block off the ability for people to go there and come back and move around.”

Then comes the last sentence which was erased from the official TED video. This was noted by Rosemary Frei, who has a master on molecular biology and is an independent investigative journalist in Canada. Gates says: “So eventually there will be this digital immunity proof that will help facilitate the global reopening up.”
This “digital immunity proof” is crucial to keep in mind, something that could be misused by the state for nefarious purposes."

What's Really Going On? Straight rips!

"Kansas coronavirus update: Gov. Laura Kelly condemns A.G., legislators for ‘political attack’ as deaths, infections surge" (Smith/Yarborough):
"A Republican-controlled panel of Kansas legislative leaders on Wednesday voted to overturn an executive order limiting attendance at church gatherings and funerals, igniting a fiery rebuke from Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly.

Kelly blasted Republicans, including Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt, for engaging in a “shamefully political attack” that undermines her administration’s efforts to control the spread of COVID-19. The dispute erupted as health officials revealed the largest single-day spike in coronavirus deaths and infections in Kansas.

The state added 11 deaths, a 40% increase, for a total of 38. Confirmed cases jumped from 900 to 1,046.

Kelly announced on Tuesday she was removing exemptions for churches and funerals from a statewide order that limits gatherings of more than 10 individuals. Schmidt responded Wednesday by issuing a memo that advised police not to enforce it.

The Legislative Coordinating Council then voted 5-2 along party lines to rescind the governor’s order. Because the order had replaced an earlier directive, the action invited confusion about whether there is no longer a statewide ban on any kind of large public gathering."
"Border lawmakers urge Trump to halt wall construction, divert funds to fight COVID-19" (Carranza).

We're well into the era of ironic deaths:  "Pastor who criticized coronavirus ‘mass hysteria’ dies from illness" (Woods).

Tweet (Liz Essley Whyte) (1920s-style eugenics):

"Passover is actually a great time to remember that Chrystia Freelands grandfather (who she frequently lionizes) was the editor of the biggest Nazi propaganda outlet in occupied Galicia and that Freelands foreign policy in Ukraine has involved supporting Nazi paramilitary groups"
"Is good-enough government really good enough in a crisis?" (Hiltz).  Canada's government is The Nazi.  Ontario is run by a low level drug dealer who, by a miraculous series of extremely unlikely events, ended up as premier.  It's remarkable that everybody isn't dead already.

"Angela Merkel Urged To Put European Solidarity Over German Interests and Back Coronabonds".  Good luck with that!  The Nazis didn't win WWII just to turn around and give money to lazy, stinking Italians.  On the other hand, the Germans may lose the whole boondoggle of 'Europe' if they don't appear to do something.

Even in a world-wide crisis, nothing is more sacred than Sanctions For The Jews:  "Ukraine and Georgia publicly humiliated at the UN" (Ostashko).

"UN watchdog report blames Assad for chemical attacks in Syria for first time, ‘opening door’ for fresh sanctions" (Trew).  A little virus isn't going to shut down the producers of bullshit PR For The Jews.

It used to be if you made a huge mistake due to your general levels of incompetence, the last thing you would want to do is blow up in putting the blame on somebody else, particularly somebody else who is obviously more competent than you.  Such a thing makes us cringe to see it, and it is actually the stuff of comedy (practically the backbone of office comedies), but with the USA USA USA crowd of Assholian assholes as an audience, Trump can get away with it.  Tweet (Hua Chunying 华春莹):
"Accusing China of coverup is a kind of blackmail. Suspected cases were reported on 27Dec. Reuters cited CCTV reports on 31. We formally notified WHO on 3Jan&closed Wuhan on 23. US closed its Consulate on 26& borders to China on 2Feb. Blameshifting can't make up for lost time.".

But I don’t think Mike Pompeo has any idea what he’s doing anyway. He’s a dumb guy. His sort of morbid obesity lowers the IQ. This is clearly all his plan, or at least he is the face of it.

The rest of the Republicans who are going to design this war are not any smarter than he is. They can’t even think of anything more creative than “burning people alive.”

Point being: the US Government may well lose the war. In fact, they probably will.

If that happens, and Xi becomes the Emperor of Earth, I hope he grows a fu manchu and marches around in a cape with bikini girls at his side.
That will make it a lot easier for Americans to get used to their new overlord."
J. D. Vance thread on denialism.  The current push for denialism relates entirely to big business wanting to open the economy before it is safe.

Tragically, I think it wasn't this magnificent bastard of a virus, but just plain old alcoholism (pancreatic cancer):  "Something Good Happened: Linda Tripp is Finally Dead" (Gates/Seelye, thought the little VT intro is what you need to read).  A lot of the ratfuckers turn to alcohol to manage the guilt.

The virus was a chance for a complete reset, throwing out all the stupid ideas of the extreme right (utterly embarrassed and disgraced by their intentional destruction of society to grasp money for the 1%, a destruction we only now see we couldn't afford), but we'll have to settle for a few flickers of light:  "Calls For Global Debt Jubilee Grow Louder As 'Anything Goes' Policy Mania Takes Over" (Durden, more open-minded than I though he would be).  "Spain Announces Guaranteed Free Money: What's Really Going On?" (Shedlock) (also).  Notice how Shedlock, still carrying water for the 1%, calls it 'theft', pretty rich when the real theft is all the stealing by the 1%.  As Michael Hudson keeps pointing out, there's an economic necessity to jubilee due to the math of compound interest.

Yet the Assholian response, of course, is to make the problem worse:  "Resetting the Bomb" (Taibbi) ('straight rips').  Tremendous detail in this little piece, particularly on hedge fund techniques.

"Un-Miracle Drugs Could Help Tame the Pandemic" (Apple).  I've thought for a long time that metformin is so ridiculously good for you, in so many ways, that everybody should take it.

"You're a physician. Why aren't you volunteering in a hospital right now like other retired MDs, some of whom have died from Covid? Oh, I forgot. You're just a grifter intent on handing Trump a second term."
I guess we're seeing the final and conclusive disproof of the idea that a crisis would magically give all these bribe-recipients, blackmail victims, and general all-around fuckups who we get to elect to 'lead' us the kick in the butt that would transform them into competent politicians.  It is pretty much as you would expect - the idiots, whether they be the political class as a whole, or the general run of the idiots of Assholia - where idiocy is considered the highest virtue - continue to act like idiots, the thieves and graspers continue to steal and grasp (at an accelerated rate), and the (((warmongers))) continue to monger Wars For The Jews.  You wouldn't know there was a world-wide pandemic.

Cure for heart attacks

"Saudi-led coalition to announce Yemen ceasefire at midnight: sources" (Rothschild).  The virus as a face-saving excuse to stop being embarrassed militarily.

One of the places that seemed to do everything right:  tweet (Martin Chorzempa 马永哲):

Theft as the only virtue

"Did the US just supply a million face masks to the Israeli army?" (Abunimah).

Why did such an outrageous story come out in the first place?  It doesn't reflect well on anybody.  Donee and donor.

Bibi, the donee, is flying high in Israeli polls for two reasons, both related, of course, to theft:
  1. reports, including the original version of this story, that Israel (Mossad) is stealing PPE around the world for the benefit of Israelis;
  2. the upcoming 'annexation', i.e., theft of land from the Palestinians.
President Jared, the donor and originating thief, wanted the story out for the usual reasons, the adulation from Khazars around the world for being a macher who benefited his people (these outrageous stories always come out as the macher requires publicity), and, most importantly, the recognition that he is a thief at the expense of farm animals.

I have to assume Trump ordered the story to be changed.

Col. Douglas Macgregor

"Isolationist Allies Push Trump to Tap Obscure Colonel for Pentagon Post" (Kredo). The blood-pouring-from-the-fangs crowd is already mobilizing against him.  Sweet Jesus!:
  1. "neocons" are "making decisions in Washington that in their minds are beneficial to a foreign power and are not necessarily good for the American people or the United States.";
  2. "there's no evidence that Iran wants to attack us."; and

Epstein's masks

Wars For The Jews are very, very important, goyim, much more important than infrastructure, health care, education, or even your own worthless lives!:  "National Security State Left US Defenseless Against Coronavirus" (Porter) (my emphasis in red):
"Both the Obama and Trump administrations quietly delegated state and local authorities with the essential national security responsibility for obtaining and distributing these vital items. The failure of leadership was compounded the lack of any federal power center that embraced the idea that guarding for a pandemic was at least as important to national security as preparing for war.

For decades, the military-industrial-congressional complex has force-fed the American public a warped conception of US national security focused entirely around perpetuating warfare. The cynical conflation of national security with waging war on designated enemies around the globe effectively stifled public awareness of the clear and present danger posed to its survival by global pandemic. As a result, Congress was simply not called upon to fund the vitally important equipment that doctors and nurses needed for the Covid-19 crisis.

At the heart of the growing coronavirus crisis in the US is a severe shortage of N95 respirators and ventilators. Those items should have been available in sufficient numbers through the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS), which holds the nation’s largest supplies necessary for national emergencies. But the stocks of crucial medical have not been maintained for years, largely because Congress has not provided the necessary funding.

Congress has been willing to dole out load of cash after pandemics hit the US. When the H1N1 flu crisis hit the United States in 2009, and close to 300,000 Americans were hospitalized, Congress appropriated $7.7 billion in special funding, including support for building up the SNS. That allowed the stockpile to provide 85 million respirators and millions of ventilators to hospitals around the country, especially during the second half of the yearlong crisis.

But since that 2009-10 crisis ended, the stockpile of such vital equipment has never been replenished. In 2020 the stockpile holds only 12 million N95 respirators – as little as 1 percent of what is now needed by health workers – and just 16,000 ventilators, compared with the estimated 750,000 people at minimum who will need a ventilator because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
These numbers are so scandalously low in relation to what is needed that senior officials Department of Health and Human Services have refused to reveal publicly how many they have in stock."
This should be the easiest example for the average American to understand of the way things really are, a solid reminder of what it is like to live in a forced Khazarocracy:  tweet (Joe Catron):
"“America First,” a play in three acts:"
Absolutely nailed the reply (Steve Jail) (but let's not forget the critical role of President Jared, who is, of course, fully in charge of which goyim die and which Khazars live) (ha!, naturally the tweet is gone, but I preserved the text!):
"Turns out having video of nearly every US politician fucking kids with Jeffrey Epstein is effective blackmail"
Tweet (Aaron Maté):
"If this were Russia, it’d be a national scandal. Schiff & Maddow would be calling on us to break quarantine to march on Washington. But it’s our friendly apartheid regime Israel, so expect the usual silence:"
"Kushner’s Grand Theft Ventilator scheme" (Madsen):
"Ever since impeached president Donald John Trump appointed his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to head a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) task force to obtain ventilators, Covid-19 test kits, endotracheal tubes, biohazard bags, nasal cannula, and other medical supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE), there are widespread reports that federal authorities have seized ventilators and other equipment destined for U.S. states, territories, and foreign countries. Kushner is notorious for his and his ex-con father’s links to Jewish criminal syndicates operating out of northern New Jersey, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. These criminal syndicates, consisting mainly of Russian, Ukrainian, Syrian, Polish, Uzbek, Kazakh, and Israeli Jews, specialize in hoarding, smuggling, warehouse theft, contract fraud, money laundering, and extortion.

In a recent televised White House press briefing, Kushner told the nation that the Strategic National Stockpile of medical equipment and supplies belonged to the Trump administration and not to the states. Several state governors pushed back on the federal stockpile being solely the property of the federal government.
Relying on an unholy alliance of Jewish criminal syndicates and federal law enforcement authorities, Kushner has embarked on a program of theft and piracy of medical equipment destined for foreign and state end-users. What does not end up in the U.S. federal stockpile is reportedly being shipped to Israel. The Kushner family and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu have been close friends for several decades. Netanyahu has directed Mossad to obtain ventilators and PPE from abroad. The authorization reportedly extends to theft of such equipment and supplies."
"Billionaire-backed Human Rights Watch lobbies for lethal US sanctions on leftist governments as the Covid crisis rages" (Norton).  By 'billionaire' he means (((Soros))).  HRW is one of the few services the Khazars provide the Empire.

People like me have been warning about the consequences of this shit for years, to no avail.  Americans don't care, as 1) they are assholes, who don't care about anybody else, including the millions and millions of victims of their war crimes; and 2) they figure the Wars For The Jews are free to them as the government just prints money to pay for them.  This magnificent bastard of a virus is bringing home the deadly suffering caused by living under a Khazar blackmailed and bribed government.

Biological experiments

Priorities, goyim!:  tweet (Dena Shunra) (oh come on, with President Jared on the case it was always going to be Facemasks For The Jews, even as your own health care workers bravely croak without):
"Israeli military radio reports that 1,000,000 face masks were sent from the U.S. to Israel, to be used by the Israeli army during the Covid19 epidemic.
NY healtchare workers? Nah. that's for the state to buy."
"The Corona Travails Of Boris Johnson - A Timeline" (Moon). Trying to win the prize for the ultimate ironic death. Or perhaps it is all a lie and he's having an island holiday.

Peak Fat Fuck:  tweet (Ben Norton):
"These really are Goebbels-level lies.
You have to be a totally unhinged, monstrous sociopath to say this stuff with a straight face, as you are waging war across the planet, stealing protective equipment from your own "allies," and killing thousands of civilians with sanctions"

Tweet (Andrew Neil) (you don't really want to be the neighbor of a country that has decided to conduct a biological experiment on itself):
"Sweden: 114 new deaths taking death toll to 591, rise of 24%. Finland orders tougher checks, controls on its open border with Sweden. Another 487 confirmed with the virus, taking Sweden's total case load to 7,693. There are 10m Swedes. Bars, restaurants, schools still open"
I've been wondering if European countries are going to have virus issues in their newly-created immigrant ghettos, where language and cultural issues, not to mention fear and anger at authorities, and the natural crowding together of the poors, may cause compliance issues with public health edicts.

Obstinacy and rage

Yeah, this mystery judge is CIA:  tweet (@MartySilk):
"Judge Baraitser says in her judgment the balance falls in favour of open justice to name Julian Assange's partner.
She lifts the order in imposing restrictions on naming his partner and children."
Now he's going to have to apologize for 'anti-Semitism', which is even worse, much worse, than kiddy diddling (also) (added:  "Pope Anus Compares Pederast Cardinal to Jesus" (Anglin)):
"Francis did not mention Pell by name at mass, but compared the suffering of those inflicted with “unjust sentences” to the way Jewish community elders persecuted Jesus with “obstinacy and rage even though he was innocent”."

The denialists live off this underreporting: tweet (Mark Ames):
""If you die at home from the coronavirus, there’s a good chance you won’t be included in the official death toll...200 city residents are now dying at home each day, compared to 20 to 25 such deaths before the pandemic"…"
I've been reading both utopian and dystopian/apocalyptic articles about what life is going to be post-virus, but it is not going to be that interesting.  They'll probably get to keep the extra surveillance - as they always do - and a lot of small businesses will disappear, largely due to the fact that almost no landlords have had to take any haircut (very Clarifying, considering the employment and tax revenue generated by small businesses, versus almost no employment or tax revenue generated by landlords).  Otherwise, though, life will just continue its descent under corrupt and incompetent leadership and the usual ongoing predations by the 1%.  Things will get worse, much worse, for most people due to climate change, and still nothing will be done.  There won't be any drama at all, just despair.  We'd need to hang a lot of people to get any movement, but we haven't the energy.

"Media Struggle to Defend Washington’s Cruelty Toward Venezuela and Iran as Coronavirus Spreads" (Emersberger):
"Another big problem with the IMF’s excuse for rejecting the loan was that in 2002, when Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez was briefly ousted in a US-backed military coup, the IMF rushed forward to offer loans to the coup-installed dictatorship. The dictatorship led by business leader Pedro Carmona was recognized by almost no other country in the world except the US. Carmona was only in power for two days, but the IMF managed to get out a statement saying that it was “ready to assist the new administration in whatever manner they find suitable.” The IMF spokesperson who said that, Thomas Dawson, is also a former US State and Treasury Department official. This is hilarious, especially given Trump's cutting off supplies to Canada:  "Huawei sending millions of masks to Canada as supplies grow short" (Vanderklippe).  This is a gift, but note the concern of American lackeys, with the solution that Canada pay for the gift so it can stay firmly welded to Assholia.

"Surely missed on Canada's leaders as they scramble to deal with the fallout of the US ban on crucial medical personal protective equipment for hospital workers, is the fact that they themselves previously willingly joined in Trump's sanctions on so-called 'rogue states' like Iran, Syria, and Venezuela."
One huge lesson that the world needs to learn from this - Assholes are assholes, and assisting them provides no protection from them, and makes you an asshole.

Assholes are assholes:  "Targeting Iran While America Locks Down" (Giraldi):
"In another move, on March 27th, the U.S. State Department’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency has announced approval of an $2.4 billion deal with Israel to buy eight KC-46A Pegasus aerial tankers.
The agreement is the first time the United States has sold actual purpose-built tanker aircraft to Israel. The KC-46A Pegasus is can carry 106 tons of fuel to refuel jet fighters and has a range of more than 6,000 miles. It will enable the Israeli Air Force to have sufficient refueling capability to directly attack Iran, its principal regional target. Israel has frequently stated its willingness to attack Iranian nuclear sites and might also exploit the opportunity afforded by the coronavirus and its aftermath to do so."

"On Turkey’s New Plans for Syria" (Sheikh):
"Turkey’s constant manoeuvers between the US/NATO and Russia illustrate the complexity of its foreign policy aiming to achieve a complex set of objectives. Its objective to set itself as a regional hegemon does not rest well with Syria, Iran and even Russia. Turkey, after all, remains a NATO member state, and allowing it to turn into a hegemon might in the long run become a stepping stone for NATO’s permanent footprint in the region—a situation that both Iran and Russia aim to prevent.
As such, whereas Russia, Syria and Iran may be able to accommodate Turkey’s interests vis-à-vis Kurds, the US would not do this. Similarly, whereas the US may be able to accommodate Turkey’s interests vis-à-vis creating a safe-zone, Russia, Syria and Iran see in this an eventual path for Syria’s permanent territorial division and an ultimate way for US/NATO presence in the region. Since Erdogan’s core interests somewhat ally with both Russia/Syria and the US, he continues to play on both sides of the geo-political chessboard i.e., eastern and norther Syria.
This was pretty evident when he recently made proposals for ‘jointly managing’ Syria’s oil.
Speaking to the journalists about his deal with Russia, Erdogan said that both Russia and the US have interest in Syria’s oil. To quote him, “I proposed Putin this: With the help of oil revenues generated there, we could assume the construction side, if you extend support in terms of financing. Let’s bring ruined Syria to its feet. And Putin said that this could be possible. I could make the same proposal to [US President Donald] Trump. Thanks to those resources, we have the possibility to reconstruct Syria instead of [letting] terrorists benefit from them.”
When we deconstruct Erdogan’s apparently ‘positive proposal’, his complex play of foreign policy becomes evident. The “terrorists” he is referring to here are the Kurdish militias that he ultimately wants to see wiped out and pushed away from Syria-Turkey border.
There is no gainsaying that the US wants to control Syria’s oil. In fact, it was not long ago when the US president said that the US military’s core objective in Syria was “protecting the oil”, although he wanted to “protect” it from falling into the hands of the Syrian military forces.
Secondly, by proposing to Putin a plan about bringing Syria’s oil under their control, Erdogan wants to strip the Kurdish militias of their critical source of revenue.
Thirdly, by proposing to jointly manage Syria’s oil and use the money to reconstruct Syria, Turkey wants to carve a permanent place and role for itself in Syria. This will help Turkey not only satisfy its somewhat hegemonic ambitions, but also give a crucial blow to Kurdish bids for the establishment of an independent Kurdistan.
Control of Syria’s oil by the Kurdish militias is a problem for Turkey in as much as it gives them a sort of ‘self-governing’ capacity, which Ankara sees as a vital source of their campaign for their own state. But the bid to take control of this oil puts Turkey at odds with the US in eastern Syria where the US wants to keep the oil away from Syrian control.
Also, by depriving the Syrian Kurds of their revenue sources and by bidding to use the oil money for Syria’s reconstruction, Erdogan eventually wants to pave the way for an eventual repatriation of refugees back to Syria, evidently in those areas where Kurds are predominant. By sending refugees to these areas, Erdogan certainly wants to ‘de-Kurdicise’ the region and thus weaken their ability to wage a struggle for Kurdistan."

"Saudi Arabia’s “Blitzkrieg”-fiasco in Yemen" (Kulikov):
"It should seem obvious to everyone now that assisting President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, who had fled Sana’a in January 2015, was not the actual reason behind Saudi Arabia’s armed intervention in Yemen – instead the nation’s strategic position and its fossil fuel resources were. While the United Arab Emirates prioritized their commercial and economic ambitions to extend their influence along the entire coast of Horn of Africa and to Yemen, Saudi Arabia was primarily interested in controlling Yemen’s crude oil riches. Further evidence to this hypothesis is added by the fact that, since the UAE announced the withdrawal of its troops from Yemen, Saudi forces have focused on territories with fossil fuel deposits, such as Shabwah and Ma’rib, in addition to Hadhramaut. One of Saudi Arabia’s aims is to gain control over Al Mahrah Governorate in order to then lay oil pipelines in this region, which will pass through Yemeni territories to the Arabian Sea, thus providing an alternative route for exporting oil from the Persian Gulf and mitigating constant threats made by Tehran to close the Strait of Hormuz."

Theories of incompetence

"US pushes conspiracy theory on China’s coronavirus death toll to deflect from Trump administration failures" (Singh).  The big Anglo-American PR blitz hasn't been very effective as it is too obviously derived from government-controlled sources, but it is good enough for the low-information USA USA USA crowd.

Full-spectrum incompetence:  "Imperialism in Denial" (Lazare).

"Coronavirus: A Theory of Incompetence" (Smith).  This is awfully complicated, and the factors mentioned don't really distinguish Assholia from many other places.  Isn't the problem as simple as the fact that Assholia is a country completely filled to the brim with assholes?  It informs all their activities with respect to other countries, but also the way they treat each other.

"Eyes Wide Open: Will the ‘Masters of the Universe’ Notice No One Takes Them Seriously Anymore?" "The Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs in the US State Department, Alice Wells dropped a bombshell early morning today on the Afghan government and the country’s political elites — and caught by surprise the international donors, too — by linking all aid to that country to the formation of an inclusive government in Kabul.
Wells wrote on the twitter page in a threatening tone: “It can’t be business as usual for international donors in #Afghanistan. International aid requires partnership with an inclusive government and we all must hold Afghan leaders accountable to agree on a governing arrangement.”
Prima facie, it is a call by Washington to the international community to join the recent move, announced on March 23 by Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, to cut back aid to Afghanistan by $1 billion and to reduce the aid by another billion dollars next year as well as to initiate a review of all US-aided programs and projects in that country to identify additional reductions, and to reconsider US pledges on the whole to future donor conferences for Afghanistan.
The punishing move on March 23 followed an abortive mission by Pompeo to Kabul on that day to persuade Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and former Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah to agree on an inclusive government. Pompeo’s appeals fell on deaf ears. It now seems that Washington’s threat to cut back bilateral aid also has been largely ignored by the Afghan elites."

"Genealogy of a Pogrom" (Fazal):
"The BJP’s thumping victory in the general elections last year reflects the consolidation of right-wing hegemony in India. The party initially rose to prominence in the late 1980s, when it took up the cause of building a Ram temple in place of historic Babri mosque at Ayodhya (this is known as the Ram Janmabhoomi campaign). The eventual demolition of the mosque in December 1992, a crime in which several BJP leaders were implicated, only cemented the party’s newfound popularity among Hindus. The period also coincided with the liberalization of the country’s economy and the consequent expansion of the urban middle class, who became the BJP’s social base. Since then the party has advanced a two-pronged strategy—pathological nationalism that survives on minority-baiting on the one hand, and a fanatical neoliberal commitment to economic developmentalism on the other—that has come to find wider favor in the country, among both the affluent and the impoverished.
Yet it would be a mistake to measure the BJP’s power in purely electoral terms. Its ultimate aim has always been to reconfigure India—which is nominally a secular, democratic country—along principles of racial purity, religious nationalism, and ethnically differentiated citizenship. In pursuing these goals, through both political and cultural projects, the party has brought about an astonishing change to Indian society, weakening governmental institutions, unleashing communal demons, eroding the rule of law. Today it would be at best a half-truth to describe India as a constitutional republic: for foundational ideas of democracy, freedom, and justice have been turned upside down. Vigilante groups and lynch mobs are free to kill Muslims and instill fear in the community. BJP leaders are allowed to openly spew hate speech, even calling for violence on the Muslim community. Television media parrots and amplifies the government’s communal line. In courts, justice has come to mean reparation for imagined historical wrongs on the Hindu community. For instance, last year the Supreme Court ruled that a Ram Temple should be built on the site of the Babri mosque.
The speed with which India has embraced such virulent forms of Islamophobia cannot be explained by the BJP’s propaganda alone. The party has taken root in soil that was already communalized. The loyalty of Muslims, India’s largest minority, has been held suspect in the majoritarian narratives ever since Independence and partition of the subcontinent in 1947. Equating religion with a form of a nationality, Hindu nationalist thinkers have presented Muslims as a fifth column for Pakistan.
Yet this portrayal of Muslims predates Partition. Its origins go at least as far back as the nineteenth century, when a modern “Hindu” consciousness was being forged in the crucible of colonialism. Drawing on British orientalist historiography, which presented Islam as a “foreign” religion, Hindu reformist thinkers came to imagine the modern nation of “India” as a spiritual homeland for Hindus, besieged by foreigners both European and Muslim. Over time they developed a baroque, hoary mythology about the so-called Muslim conquest, focused on the forceful abduction, violation, and conversion of Hindu women by Muslim men. In the early twentieth century, as colonial institutions based on communal representation were opened to the natives, a panic around shrinking numerical strength, not to mention physical and political potency, became entrenched in the Hindu nationalist imaginary.
This form of “othering” has found its most virulent expression in the discourse of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the cultural outfit which essentially controls the BJP. Founded in 1925 in Nagpur by a group of upper-caste Brahmins, and explicitly modelled on Mussolini’s fascist party, it is the oldest, largest, and arguably the most successful far-right group in the world today. The RSS instills in its cadre a ferocious hatred of Muslims, who are viewed as a barbaric internal enemy—fanatically driven by the sword, hypersexual, and bearers of divided loyalties. Writing in 1939, one of the organization’s longest serving chiefs, M.S. Golwalkar, laid down the conditions under which the Muslim could be accepted into India: they would be “wholly subordinated to the Hindu nation claiming nothing, deserving no privileges, far less any preferential treatment, not even citizen’s right.”
For the RSS, stereotyping and demonizing of the Muslim has served the equally important purpose of cementing the Hindu nation, beleaguered as it is by its own internal segments of hierarchically organized caste groups, cults, and sects. V. D. Savarkar, perhaps the most influential Hindutva ideologue, spelled this idea out in his 1923 tract, Hindutva: Who is a Hindu, a founding document for the far-right Hindu movement: “Nothing makes [the] Self conscious of itself so much as a conflict with non-self. Nothing can weld peoples into a nation and nations into a state as the pressure of a common foe.”
The Hindu right remained politically marginalized for the first four or so decades of Indian independence. Yet during this period, the RSS spread its communal venom at the grassroots level, indoctrinating youth at its schools, spiritual camps, and “shakhas,” or training units in villages and towns across the country. (The Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a cultural organization that provides the shock troops for the RSS, also participated in numerous communal attacks across the country.) Things changed in 1990, when L. K Advani—a RSS graduate and the then BJP president—embarked on a Rath yatra (roughly “chariot pilgrimage”), traveling with followers across North India, holding politico-religious rallies at which he exhorted Hindu youth to join the Ram Janmabhumi campaign.
Advani’s Rath Yatra, which left a trail of communal killings and destruction in its wake, was finally abandoned when he was detained in Bihar by the state’s secular chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. But by that time his task had been more or less achieved—the forging of a new Hindu public for whom secularism, a constitutional guarantee, was reinscribed as minority appeasement towards Muslims. Indoctrinated into the Hindutva ideology, right-wing Hindus began to demand sovereignty of faith over state in matters related to Hindu religiosity. In this pernicious new discourse, any advance in the protection of minority cultures or demands of parity between Hindus and Muslims came to be dismissed as “pseudo-secularism” (this remains a popular term of abuse in right-wing Indian circles)."

". . . now the Houthis have popped up with an intriguing offer: a Saudi pilot and four other Saudi military prisoners in exchange for dozens of Palestinians on trial in the kingdom for “supporting terrorism”.
Now we all know that the Saudis are always putting some poor chap or other on trial. Foreign “terrorists”, Shia activists (“terrorists” again) and disloyal Saudis are always appearing at grotesque “legal” hearings – in secret, and with no defence lawyers – in the kingdom and, quite often, have their heads chopped off afterwards.
The Palestinians in question – and there are dozens of them – have been accused of collecting and laundering funds for Hamas. In other words, they were accused of “supporting terrorism”. But the men have been living in Saudi Arabia for years and the Saudi court might have more credibility if one of the accused was not retired doctor Mohamed al-Khudari, who is 81 years old and who, according to his family, is suffering from colon cancer.
But fewer folk will have heard of the Saudi prisoners in Houthi hands whom the Shiite rebel leader Abdul Malek Houthi is offering to swap for the Palestinians. The pilot is believed to be one of the two crew of a Tornado fighter-bomber – an aircraft purchased from the UK in the old al-Yamama deal – which was blasted out of the sky by the Houthis (supposedly with a homemade missile) during an air raid on Yemen in mid-February. His fellow crew member may – or may not – be one of the other three prisoners. The aircraft was shot down on a day in which at least 31 civilians are believed to have been killed and another 11 wounded in Saudi air raids.
There were renewed air attacks last weekend when talks over a Saudi-Houthi ceasefire appeared to break down – proving, I suppose, that some potential ongoing relationships simply have no future. Even in the age of coronavirus."

(Engdahl) (see the unfortunately similar Cartalucci).  This is just a longer version of 'Kung Flu', support for the Assholes who wish to blame China for their own mistakes.  I agree that The WHO has hinky donors.  I disagree, vehemently, that a guy with a doctorate in public health is less suited to lead The WHO than some medical doctor.  But the bottom line is that neither The WHO nor China has any role to play in current American problems.  Does anybody seriously believe that the Assholes wouldn't have squandered another ten days warning had they got it?  The proof of the problem is that other countries have already had remarkable success relying on the notice they received from China and The WHO, and from following protocols developed in China (and now western doctors are trying to be famous by repeating treatments first tried in China).  In the United States, what we're seeing is what happens if a country full of assholes finally turns the assholery inwards.  It's simply lovely to see them finally get some of their own medicine.

Thread by Ali Velshi on Trump and the pandemic (the mistakes the current anti-China PR blitz is supposed to hide).

While Trump should take the blame, he wasn't alone:  "Who’s Right: Donald Trump or the Media?" (Hood).

Tweet (Ben Norton) (note that Canada, despite following illegal Assholian orders on the extradition scandal, is using the pandemic to reestablish relations with China - Trudeau was lambasted by the right for sending medical supplies to China, and Canada has now received a larger quantity of medical supplies back from China, and now this):
"But there are still a lot of people regurgitating this CIA propaganda.
Yes, the false, baseless claim that China submitted false numbers is a literal CIA psyop. Corporate media outlets are admitting their source is the coup-plotting torturers at the CIA"

What, you mean Wars For The Jews aren't free?:  "The Blob Sucked Away Your Public Health And Gave You War Instead" (Smith).

One of the most hilarious parts of what passes for the the Assholian 'response' to the virus is the fact that the usual Assholian corporado 'free market capitalism' grifters can't keep their fingers out of the pie in ways which directly damage any attempts to fight back against the pandemic:  tweet (David Begnaud):
"This is so important for everyone to understand. This explains why Governors say: I'm not getting the supplies I need - yet @POTUS
says we are sending tons of supplies: It's going from the federal govt to commercial distributors who then deliver to the highest bidder: states!"
It's exactly the same thing we've seen so often with American military procurement scandals, which have left the Empire technologically behind in every modern piece of military equipment, as it is always corporate profitability prevailing over getting the job done correctly.

"What Wall Street Doesn’t Want You to Know About Hospital Emergency Rooms" (Appelbaum).  Note the blackmail of threatening to withdraw a hospital during a pandemic (in better times this would have been regarded as a crime so heinous the entire board of directors would have been immediately hanged)!:  "Hospital Bailouts Begin…for Those Owned by Private Equity Firms" (Appelbaum/Batt).  This is classic modern (((hedge fund))) operating procedure, derived from American (((organized crime))) (depicted in the Sopranos, but of course de-Khazarized; see also 'Billions') - split off the unit, load it up with debt, suck out the borrowed money to the hedge fund, then leave the rest as a bankrupt shell.  This is bad enough when it is any old corporation, but a tragedy in the making if it is a hospital.

Feinberg (Cerberus).  Schwarzman.  Milken ("“This is their golden age. You can leverage, you can borrow without covenants, and so for equity holders it affords you a very unusual rate of return.”").  Green.  This should be the Golden Age of 'anti-Semitism'.

Trump again moving well to the left of the Democrats (note though, in the bizarre nature of Assholian politics, he has to do it relatively quietly, lest he be called a commie):  tweet (jordan):
"Wait a second, so you're telling me the government can just pay hospitals directly for medical care? And that health insurance companies are just unnecessary middlemen out to make a buck? Well, I'll be damned...."
"The Financial Times Asks For Socialist Policies" (Moon).

So, so much Clarification, on so many levels.

I have a fan to which I have to give a few whacks to get going, but nobody dies if I don't do it: "Boeing 787s must be turned off and on every 51 days to prevent 'misleading data' being shown to pilots" (Corfield).

The whole Biden fiasco is playing out exactly as you might imagine a Clinton conspiracy would work:  "Coronavirus Props Up Cuomo as Madam Secretary Takes the #MeToo Axe to Biden and Bloomberg Yanks a Billion from Sleepy Joe" (Flores).  Interestingly, they will need a convention for Clinton to replace Biden, and conventions are currently hard to come by.  Btw, Cuomo is remarkably crooked, even by Assholian standards, and much of what he is doing is trying to fix his own mistakes in turbo-cutting.

The Brits have pretty much wrecked their health care system with austerity cuts, but luckily there is still lots of money for their PR system:  "Russian aid to Italy, dubbed an ‘influence operation’ by EU-partnered media outfit, is indeed shameful — for Europe" (Ryan).  People generally have pretty strong negative ideas about those thought of as 'ingrates'.

"Italy and Russia spar over alleged coronavirus spies".  "Coronavirus: Inside the UK government’s influential behavioural ‘nudge unit’" (Sengupta).

"Why the American Punditry Is Terrified of Russian Humanitarian Aid" (Kirby).

"The Chaotic Response to Coronavirus Mirrors the Failures of 1914" (Cockburn).  I'm terribly disappointed in a lot of usually reliable writers and sites, many of whom have gone all in with virus denialism and/or Assholian PR takes (all of which either hide or deny the real massive conspiracies going on), but Cockburn, who usually pulls his punches for the Empire, has gotten better in this crisis.

"UK: Facebook Group Organizing Burnings of 5G Towers Hysterical Lunatics Think are Causing the Flu" (Anglin).  I suppose it's an improvement over burning witches.  I'm sure this has another British PR firm behind it, as it is too stupidly pointed at China.  Having said that, 5G proceeds without any determination of health risks.

"Pakistan rearrests four men acquitted in Daniel Pearl murder case".  Outside (((pressures))).  Pearl is in the pantheon of Khazar saints.

"Trump’s Iran sanctions policy on the turn" (Bhadrakumar).  No, the MEGA Group still has the blackmail material, and blood pours from the fangs of every Khazar on the planet - they are simply enjoying Iranian suffering too much - so the sanctions aren't going anywhere.  "US sidestepped OWN SANCTIONS against Russia to save American lives from Covid-19… If only it cared as much about Iranian lives" (Ritter).

"*#COVID19*Excellent work Marty getting this Kafkaesque admission from the UK's "Ministry of Justice":
"... #JulianAssange, who is being held on remand in Belmarsh prison, will not be temporarily released because he's not serving a custodial sentence and therefore not eligible""
"Trump brandishes tariff stick at ‘illegal OPEC cartel’ & vows to do ‘whatever it takes’ (but no US oil cuts!)".  "Trump Says Doesn't 'Care About OPEC', Will Put Tariffs on Oil Imports If He Has to".  "OPEC+ meeting delayed as Saudi Arabia and Russia row over oil price collapse: sources" (El Gamal/Soldatkin/Lawler).  The Assholes have been able to freeload off OPEC by taking advantage of the higher prices caused by supply management, while not themselves having to restrict their sales.  This was tolerable when the US wasn't such a huge producer, but both Russia and Saudi Arabia are tired of it.  The plan is to get the Assholes subject to the same negotiated supply cuts, so supply management even works better to force the price up for everybody. Because the US financial system is at risk of a complete collapse if the frackers have a complete collapse, Putin and MbS have Trump over a bit of a barrel, so to speak.

The CIA versus MbS:  "Who and what is behind the Crisis in Saudi Arabia?" (Kulikov).  If MbS identifies his main problem as the CIA - just as Erdoğan does - then a Putin-MbS conspiracy against Assholia, and not a Putin-MbS rift over OPEC+, seems likely.

"Outrage in Chile over Pinera photo at quarantined protest site" (Newman).  Taking a victory lap over the fact the virus stopped the protests!

"What We Lost in the Pandemic" (Van Buren):
"For the second time in about only a decade, we are seeing our homes endangered. Rent payments are hard. As mortgage payments slip the banks are sniffing around like hyenas. Some people will fail on rent payments on the same homes they used to own. Occupy Wall Street? No, occupied by Wall Street.

Like good boys and girls a lot of us did invest our money after the 2008 economic crisis, yet anyone contemplating retirement or college in the near term just saw 20 percent of all that go away. Again. The bailouts are here, in the trillions, again, for the airlines and other businesses. Of course the stock market will go back up, it always does. What occurs in the space between it going down and going back up is the wealthiest Americans, having money in reserve, buy cheaply once-expensive stocks you were forced to sell at the bottom to feed your family. In a few years you’ll start buying in again, you know, when you get back to work, to push up prices and fuel the rich folks’ gains. The wealthiest one percent captured 95 percent of post-2008 financial crisis growth while the bottom 80 percent, whose wealth was in their homes not stocks, became poorer as their missing homes did not “grow.” Their wealth, such as it was, was a Potemkin vision in the form of their homes which they actually did not own. The last recession represented the largest redistribution of money in a century.

What about 2020? Since over half of all Americans now own no stock, the wealth in 2020 will be sucked out of the so-called 10 percent, the remains of what was once the upper middle class. They are the only ones who actually have money for the hyper-wealthy to take. The bottom 90 percent are basically too poor to steal from (except our labor; see above.) A month ago the richest 10 percent of Americans owned 84 percent of the total value of the market. The One Percent are in the process of taking from the Nine Percent below them right now. Fair enough in a way; much of the Nine Percent’s wealth was harvested out of the 2008 crisis."
This headline looks just like one you's see in The Onion: "Staff Said The Free Mask Kits At Jo-Ann Fabrics Are Just Scraps From The Clearance Bin" (Jamieson).

"'My husband Jeremy Corbyn has been vilified - I will never regret our dream'"
Passive voice!  Vilified?  By who (sorry, forgive my grammar, by (((whom)))?)?

Everybody has to sacrifice, except, tellingly, rentiers:  "A plea from a small-business owner: Without immediate rent help, I will drown" (Agg).
