Newest US war crimes

Someone could write a blog entirely on war crimes committed by the United States in Iraq:

  1. Here is a reasonable account of what actually happened in Samarra. In order to cover their crimes, the American military told an incredible whopper, and got away with it.

  2. This website has some excellent testimonies of Iraqi victims of human rights abuses (here, here and here; all are worth reading and the second one refers to an American-perpetrated mass grave at the prison camp at Baghdad airport). The treatment of Iraqi prisoners of war by the Americans remains an almost undocumented scandal.

  3. The Americans continue to use Israeli-style brutal collective punishment as a means of forcing people to give them information.
