Amazing or not?

"Ex-Chief: CIA Investigation Could Be Construed as Anti-Semitic"  This isn't amazing.  You can see how difficult it might be to root out a particular type of traitor when even talking about it is forbidden.

"Reserve Bank's Holocaust denier"  This is amazing.

"Canadian among accused in Holocaust survivor fund fraud"  This isn't amazing.

"The Secret Meeting that Changed Rap Music and Destroyed a Generation"  I'm not sure whether this is amazing or not.

"MI6 spy Gareth Williams was 'discovered in bed with hands tied to headboard'"  So he can tie himself up well enough that he can't untie himself . . .

. . . but nobody can physically replicate the stunt he is supposed to have performed with the bag:  "MI6 spy inquest: Gareth Williams was 'dead or unconscious before he went into the bag'" "MI6 spy Gareth Williams could have locked himself in bag, inquest hears" (note that the headline contradicts the gist of the content of the article).  Amazing (and reminds me a little of the impossible suicide of David Kelly)!

American lives are quite cheap

More on Vioxx and the value of human life (Cockburn; my emphasis in red):
"Much of the argument, I remember, revolved around the demographic concept of “greater than expected death.” The available census figures in the Soviet Union in the 1930s were not particularly sturdy, in presumed contrast to the reorts these days of the US Bureau of the Census, So I remain completely astounded by the fact that half a million more Americans than usual on current demographic trends can die and there’s no public commotion or curiosity.

I’m referring to the story by Ron Unz we ran last week, comparing drug scandals, Melamine in China and Vioxx the United States.

To remind readers:

In September 2004, Merck, one of America’s largest pharmaceutical companies, issued a sudden recall of Vioxx, its anti-pain medication widely used to treat arthritis-related ailments.

There was a fair amount of news coverage after the recall, but pretty slim considering the alleged 55,000 death toll. A big class-action lawsuit dragged its way through the courts for years, eventually being settled for $4.85 billion in 2007.

Senior FDA officials apologised for their lack of effective oversight and promised to do better in the future. The Vioxx scandal began to sink into the vast marsh of semi-forgotten international pharmaceutical scandals.

The year after Vioxx was pulled from the market, the New York Times and other media outlets ran minor news items, usually down column, noting that American death rates had undergone a striking and completely unexpected decline.

Typical was the headline on a short article that ran in the 19 April 2005 edition of USA Today: ‘USA Records Largest Drop in Annual Deaths in at Least 60 Years.’ During that one year, American deaths fell by 50,000 despite the growth in both the size and the age of the nation’s population. Government health experts were quoted as being greatly “surprised” and “scratching [their] heads” over this strange anomaly, which was led by a sharp drop in fatal heart attacks.

For his Melamine/Vioxx comparison, Unz went back to those 2005 stories. Quick scrutiny of the most recent 15 years worth of national mortality data provided on the US Government’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website offered Unz some useful clues.

“We find the largest rise in American mortality rates occurred in 1999, the year Vioxx was introduced, while the largest drop occurred in 2004, the year it was withdrawn,” says Unz. “Vioxx was almost entirely marketed to the elderly, and these substantial changes in the national death-rate were completely concentrated within the 65-plus population.

“The FDA studies had proven that use of Vioxx led to deaths from cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks and strokes, and these were exactly the factors driving the changes in national mortality rates.”

“Patterns of cause and effect cannot easily be proven,” Unz continues. “But if we hypothesise a direct connection between the recall of a class of very popular drugs proven to cause fatal heart attacks and other deadly illnesses with an immediate drop in the national rate of fatal heart attacks and other deadly illnesses, then the statistical implications are quite serious.”

Unz makes the point that the users of Vioxx were almost all elderly, and it was not possible to determine whether a particular victim’s heart attack had been caused by Vioxx or other factors. But he concludes: “Perhaps 500,000 or more premature American deaths may have resulted from Vioxx [my italics], a figure substantially larger than the 3,468 deaths of named individuals acknowledged by Merck during the settlement of its lawsuit. And almost no one among our political or media elites seems to know or care about this possibility.”

I remarked to Unz that it seemed truly incredible that a greater than expected death rate of this dimension should scarcely have caused a ripple.

“I’m just as astonished,” he said. “One might conjecture that the mainstream media and the government officials were all bribed or intimidated by Merck’s lawyers, lobbyists, and advertising budget into averting their eyes or holding their tongues. But from 2004 onwards, huge numbers of America’s toughest trial lawyers were suing Merck for billions based on Vioxx casualties – didn’t they notice the dramatic drop in the national death rate? “

“The inescapable conclusion is that in today’s world and in the opinion of our own media, American lives are quite cheap, unlike those in China.”

“Besides,” says Unz laughing, “it shows the stupidity of our political leaders that they didn’t seize upon this great opportunity. They should have just renamed Vioxx the ‘Save Social Security Drug,’ and distributed it free in very large doses to everyone, starting on their 65th birthday. Maybe they should have even made it mandatory, three times per day. At sufficiently large levels of national consumption, Vioxx could have almost singlehandedly eliminated all our serious budget deficit problems. ‘Vioxx—The Miracle Anti-Deficit Drug.’”"
I am reminded of the large number of Americans - mostly minorities, but all poor - who live in the pollution belts in places like Texas and Louisiana. The most toxic industries are concentrated together, along with the underclasses who have to bear the health risks, and nobody notices.

We're starting to see the phenomenon that formerly third-world countries are taking care of big public health risks better than formerly first-world countries.  Even if the Chinese make mistakes, there are people in the government who care.  The same can't be said of the governments of the United States and other formerly first-world countries, who would completely side with the corporate killers and corporate profits.

It's a feature

"Why did Alberta election pollsters get it wrong?":
"For days leading up to the Alberta election, every public opinion poll suggested the upstart Wildrose Party was poised to end the Progressive Conservatives' 41-year rule in the province.

. . .

Journalist and blogger David Climenhaga, on the other hand, argued that "pollsters, as a group, really blew it."

He told Power Play that Albertans were inundated with pollsters' robocalls during the campaign, and many voters were averse to answering the phone.

"The only people who bothered to answer those questionnaires were committed people and I believe that skewed the result in favour of ideological parties," Climenhaga said.

A University of Lethbridge professor said he believes "a combination of all of the above" resulted in Monday's stunning election results.

Geoffrey Hale, who teaches political science, told Power Play that at least one last-minute election poll picked up the shift in favour of the PCs.

Whatever led the Tories to an unexpected victory, de Clercy said it's important to remember that polls' sample sizes and methodology can have serious limitations.

For example, if pollsters are only calling landlines, they won't be catching younger voters who are more likely to only use cellphones, she said. Depending on the time of the day and the geographic area, pollsters may be capturing a segment of voters that doesn't represent a wider public opinion or reflect the nuances of voting habits.

"Pollsters are trying to keep up with the trends," de Clercy said, but they don't always succeed."
This was no mistake. It was a conspiracy to radically change Canada. Pollsters know their methods lead their polls to skew right (the fact that they polled using landlines is the key). It's not a bug, it's a feature. They sold this feature to the ultra right. The idea was to convince Albertans that a libertarian victory was inevitable. Conservative voters would be disheartened and stay away from the polls.  Undecideds would vote for the party they they perceived would be the sure winner. Nobody wants to waste a vote, and nobody wants to be associated with the loser.  The pollsters were able to sell their services simply because the results were pre-cooked, and they could assure their customers that faulty methodology across the industry would mean all results - even those sold to impartial purchasers - would be pre-cooked.

This fraud on the people of Alberta is bad enough, but we head into conspiracy with the role of the mainstream media.  The story never waivered - the libertarians were sure to win.  Even better, what did this mean for Canada?  Libertarian wins across the country.  No sense putting up a fight.  It is inevitable.  The voters in Alberta actually foiled an ultra-right-wing coup d'état.

Watch for more of this, at least until it is common knowledge how crooked the polling firms are.  I know they have other methods of polling.  That's great. Use them.  However, given the way unequal access to technology has created - or at least relabeled - these new class divisions, I doubt they can ever really determine voter intentions.  We should stop listening to polls, and stop buying media products that serve polls up to us.

Tax the rich - Bozone layer

"Ontario Budget: McGuinty agrees to Horwath’s tax-the-rich scheme":
"Premier Dalton McGuinty has agreed to NDP Leader Andrea Horwath’s “tax-the-rich” scheme in order to ensure the minority Liberals’ budget passes Tuesday, averting a snap election call.

McGuinty emerged Monday afternoon from a 30-minute closed-door meeting with Horwath — his second in as many days — to announce he had made significant compromises to win her backing.

“They wanted a tax on the rich, I wanted to pay down our deficit faster,” the premier told a packed news conference.

“We all gave a little bit,” he said, referring to the new “NDP surtax” on people earning more than $500,000 a year.

Horwath told reporters after McGuinty’s news conference that “our caucus does not intend to defeat the government. We will not be plunging this province into an election.”

She won a huge victory by convincing the Liberals to impose the 2 per cent surtax on 23,000 high-income earners that would raise $470 million in 2013-14 with all proceeds going toward paying down the $15.2 billion deficit.

The tax — which would cost someone making $600,000 an extra $3,120 annually — will be in place until Ontario balances the budget, now scheduled for 2017-18.

. . .

Horwath’s proposal is popular with Ontarians — a Forum poll last week suggested 78 per cent support with only 17 per cent opposition — and many Grit MPPs urged McGuinty to adopt the levy.

But last week the premier expressed reservations in part because he still bears scars from raising taxes after the 2003 and 2007 elections despite promising not to do so.

At the Liberals’ caucus meeting last Tuesday, MPPs and cabinet ministers spoke overwhelmingly in favour of making the concession to Horwath — to McGuinty’s chagrin.

On Monday, Grit MPPs confided that they hoped the premier would cede to their wishes."
Full congratulations to Andrea Horwath and the Ontario NDP - acting, in obvious contrast to the federal NDP, like a real socialist party - for fighting the good fight and winning. McGuinty did his party no favors by treating the request for this e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y popular tax as if he was having his fingernails slowly pulled out.

More sanity in Canada:  "Alberta  election: PCs steamroll past Wildrose Party".  The ultra-ultra-ultra right tired to run a pure libertarian party in Alberta, led by a Sarah Palin clone (the whole exercise smacks of American political consultants and I'm sure the bus boobs issue wasn't a mistake).  Despite the assurances of the lying mainstream media that this would be a slam dunk win, the libertarians didn't do well at all (the 'bozone layer').  As stupid as the Conservatives have been over the decades - squandering the massive natural wealth of Alberta so they could hand almost all of it over to the ultra rich, while permanently wrecking the ecology of the province - the people of Alberta aren't so dumb that they would vote for an even nuttier bunch of crooks.

Theme

There might even be a theme here somewhere.

"Greg Felton: Activists who talk like zionists continue to betray Palestine"  Felton is one of the very best writers on the Zionist killing and land theft project.

"Jewish Group Slams Urban Outfitters For Selling "Holocaust Tee""  It is impossible for any sane person to make this connection.

"‘Jewish Money’ Is Not A Good Way to Smear Political Candidates In 2010"

"Vienna removing anti-Semite's name from avenue" (my emphasis in red):
"The name of a late mayor known for his anti-Semitic views will be removed from a section of Vienna's posh Ring avenue, an official announced Thursday, in a change hailed by Jewish representatives but denounced by Austria's rightist party.
The section now called Dr. Karl-Lueger-Ring will be renamed Universitaetsring (University Ring) for the university that is located on that section of the avenue circling the inner city, the official said.
Lueger was mayor for 13 years, starting in 1897. While in office, he expanded Vienna's pipeline network supplying the city with alpine spring water, established a public transport system and strengthened social welfare services. But he also openly espoused anti-Semitic sentiments. Adolf Hitler, who lived in Vienna for part of Lueger's tenure, saw him as an inspiration for his hatred of Jews.
Lueger nonetheless had Jewish friends and once famously declared, "I decide who is a Jew." His views were shared by many Austrians at a time when anti-Semitism was widespread across much of Europe and before it became associated with the Holocaust."
As usual, the theme is power, and the problem of disguising kowtowing to the powerful due to fear.

Ray Gricar, two twists

Ray Gricar is a classic in recent disappeared-off-the-face-of-the-earth cases.  He was the the district attorney of Centre County, Pennsylvania, from 1985 to 2005.  Just before he was about to retire, and just after he did computer searches on his home computer on 'how to wreck a hard drive', 'how to fry a hard drive', and 'water damage to a notebook computer', he vanished.  They found his car, and later in the Susquehanna River, his work laptop without its hard drive, and later still, also in the river nearby, the hard drive, without any recoverable information.   He was declared dead in July 2011.

"Ray Gricar mystery: DA's privacy adds to intrigue surrounding his disappearance"

Twist one.  When the Penn State pedophilia scandal emerged, it turned out that Gricar had declined to prosecute Jerry Sandusky in 1998 over very similar allegations.  There are still rumors that the scandal is really about a very powerful pedophilia ring, and not just a cover-up of the actions of one bad guy.

"Cyril Wecht: Centre County DA's Disappearance Linked To PSU Scandal"

Twist two.  Deadspin.com recently made a FOIA request to the FBI regarding Gricar (my emphasis in red):
"The documents don't reveal anything about the investigation into Gricar's disappearance, likely because the investigation is ongoing, but they do contain material that will raise eyebrows under all those tinfoil hats.
For one, the FBI consulted with the CIA before responding to my request. And the CIA refused to allow certain information to be released because it's classified "in the interest of national defense or foreign policy" and can't be disclosed in order to protect "intelligence sources and methods" as well as the names, titles, etc., of CIA personnel.
For two, the FBI destroyed three Gricar-related files. The FBI can't say what was in them because, hey, they've been destroyed. But that's not as suspicious. The destroyed files had similar tracking numbers to the one we got, and their contents probably didn't differ much from what's in our file, according to FOIA expert Michael Ravnitzky. Also, it's standard practice for the federal government to vaporize unnecessary records after a period of time.
The CIA "excisions" are more curious. For those, I got in touch with a friend in the intelligence community known as "The Wolf." I'm not making that up. That's what people call him. The Wolf didn't make too much of the CIA interfering with my FBI response. The forms and procedures followed were routine at the time, he told me. It's perfectly normal in the course of a background check for the FBI to contact the CIA for a "name check," which is basically a database query for related records. But that's also where things get a little weird. Here's the relevant text from the Gricar file:
The Central Intelligence Agency, responding to an FBI name check request, advised that they have [REDACTED] relating to the captioned individual.
The Wolf didn't quite know what to make of that. One can only guess at what's behind the redaction. I reckon it's a page count for documents, unless it says "no records" and the CIA are redacting to prevent us from knowing they don't know anything. Which would be very CIA-ish: secrecy for secrecy's sake, even when nothing's at stake. Typically, however, the feds don't redact non-information. I'm not even sure that's legal. So it appears the spooks might actually have something on Gricar, which drags us partway into conspiracy territory. Let's enjoy the ride for a moment.
For years, the Gricar conspiracy theorists have suggested that the missing DA might be hiding out in Slovenia, where he's said to have relatives. In 1993, a crooked judge from Pennsylvania's Cambria County, which borders Gricar's Centre County, absconded to Slovenia rather than serve a prison sentence for corruption. There's no way Gricar wouldn't have known about that incident, which is why a reported sighting of the DA in Southfield, Mich., a month after his disappearance generated so much interest. The sighting was made by a retired police officer who worked as a composite artist, of all things. It was, in other words, a credible sighting.
As the conspiracy theorists pointed out, Southfield is a Detroit suburb with a Macedonian consulate. As they further pointed out, if one cared to obtain a visa to enter Macedonia and thereafter progress into, say, one's ancestral homeland of Slovenia, one might first come to the consulate in Southfield, especially if one were lying low in Canada at the time.
Normally, this is the type of thing you laugh off, provided you are sane. Federal investigators would have to be pretty half-ass not to run down a visa for a vanished man. But consider this: Macedonia was part of the former Yugoslavia. So was Slovenia. And Gricar's FBI file reveals trips to communist Yugoslavia during the Cold War (in 1973 and 1984). These caught the attention of the federal background checkers in 1986. They noted the Yugoslavia travel on the "name check" forms submitted to the CIA."

It is possible that Gricar did some work for the CIA in the 70s and 80s in Yugoslavia, and the CIA is just automatically protecting its sources and operations. Or is it possible that Gricar's knowledge of the rich and powerful pedophilia ring around Penn State was what he needed to erase from the hard drive, and what the CIA needed to conceal?  Pedophilia rings are very useful in the intelligence racket.

Misdirection

"Assassination Columbia – What If It Ain’t About Whores?":
"The real deal is very probably this:
At least one of the members of the presidential detail is suspected of working with foreign nationals to arrange the assassination of President Obama.
A certain nation comes to mind, one very close to former Governor Romney, the GOP candidate hopelessly behind in the polls, a candidate belonging to a religion seen as a dangerous sect, a candidate hated by most American women and women vote.
One country was told it wasn’t getting a war with Iran, has chosen to put all its weight behind an obvious loser and has no choice but to kill Obama or suffer the wrath of a president who has little to lose during a second term. There is no other reason such a hare brained story as this one would be foisted on the world during an election year."
The e-x-t-r-e-m-e unlikelihoods:
  1. All of these guys
  2. who are expressly ordered not to do this very thing
  3. and are under constant surveillance
  4. bring prostitutes to their rooms
  5. and the hotel rats them out.
On the other hand, if one of them is in the employ of a certain Bibi, explaining to this certain Bibi's local operatives - in a country filled to the brim with such operatives -  where the weak spots in Presidential security might be, and the Obama administration is terrified at even hinting that such a plot from America's bestest friend ever might exist, rounding up a bunch of people using a misleading sex scandal is just the way to remove the threat and the necessity of explaining what the real threat is.

The good news is that somebody running things is interested in keeping Berry's head free of Israeli bullets.

From Dallas to Cartagena

The plan is to draw out the negotiations with Iran until after the American Presidential election, at which point the Jew Jackboot won't be pressing on Obama's throat - he will no longer be dependent on their money to be reelected - and sensible, adult negotiations can reach a successful conclusion.  Therefore, the Jews have to blow Barry's head clean off before November.

Barry's visiting Colombia.

Colombia is a hotbed of nefarious activities by 'ex' Israeli soldiers.

2007:  "Colombia, Israel and rogue mercenaries"

2012:  "Colombia: 8 Israelis suspected of drug trafficking"

Remember back in '63 when the ability of the Secret Service to protect JFK was compromised by arranging for them to drink late into the night at a Dallas nightclub?

"Misconduct alleged against Secret Service agents":
"Obama was to hold two days of summit meetings with regional leaders before heading back to Washington Sunday night.
The agents at the centre of the allegations had stayed at Cartagena's Hotel Caribe. Several members of the White House staff and press corps were also staying at the hotel.
A hotel employee, speaking on the condition of anonymity for fear of losing his job, said the agents arrived at the beachfront hotel about a week ago. The employee described the agents as drinking heavily during their stay."
"Secret Service agents relieved in Colombia amid prostitution allegations" (btw, the biggest scandal in Secret Service history took place on November 22, 1963):
"Ronald Kessler, a former Washington Post reporter who has written a book about the Secret Service, called the incident "clearly the biggest scandal in Secret Service history."

. . .

Amid the reports that Secret Service agents were being replaced, two small blasts occurred nearly back-to-back in Cartagena.

The explosions -- one near a bus station and another near a shopping mall -- occurred a good distance away from where the world leaders were gathering, said Alberto Cantihho Toncell, a spokesman for the Colombia National Police.

There were no casualties, and only minor damage was reported, Toncell said.

The explosions came on the heels of a similar one earlier in the day near the U.S. Embassy in the capital city of Bogota, authorities said.

The blasts were a reminder of the violence that has gripped Colombia as its government has battled powerful drug cartels. Violence has significantly fallen off in recent years as the Bogota-based government, aided by U.S. extradition efforts, has successfully picked apart the cartels."
It appears that somebody is testing local security arrangements.

Sabotage by the usual traitors

Much serious hand-wringing about reports of the apparent bizarre American negotiating strategy with Iran:
  1. "Are we serious about talking with Tehran?"
  2. "Surrender now or we'll bomb you later"
  3. "US Offers to 'Negotiate' if Iran Surrenders"
Note that all this worry comes out of a report by blood-pouring-from-the-fangs neocon David E. Sanger - about as reliable as Bibi himself on this issue - based on anonymous American officials, i.e., American Jews, trying to sabotage the negotiations for their only true Homeland, Israel (Sanger has taken over the Judy Miller role, and style, although he played a more junior role in the treason which led to the War For The Jews against Iraq). Too soon to worry, but the threat of Jewish sabotage to the negotiations is real. The American negotiating team really needs to be judenrein.

Hersh.  Incongruent?:
"Allan Gerson, a Washington attorney for the M.E.K., says the group has publicly and repeatedly renounced terror. He added that if the story about M.E.K. training in Nevada is true it is 'incongruent.' 'How can the U.S. train those on State’s foreign terrorist list when others face criminal penalties for providing a nickel to the same organization?' "

How indeed. Hypocrisy.

I have to admit it crossed my mind that the Virginia Beach crash was a drill.  A Navy firetruck at the scene.  No fatalities, despite all the damage.  How do you survive a jet plane going through your apartment building unless there was an evacuation?:
". . . the Navy has developed maps of zones where crashes could occur to help local governments limit growth there, part of an ongoing effort to increase cooperation between military and local officials. Both plan, train and prepare together for possible emergencies, including simulated crashes, said Davis, the Virginia Beach spokesman."

Smoke

The F-18 that crashed into a Virginia Beach apartment building produced a lot more smoke than whatever crashed into the Pentagon, while presumably carrying a lot less jet fuel.  Fuel seems to have sprayed over a large area.  I assume the explanation will be burning roofing.

I can't get any more information from the pictures, as all I have seen are after the fire destroyed the evidence of the hole produced in the apartment building.  The earliest pictures all show a massive plume of very dark black smoke.  I'm still waiting for that perfect picture somewhere of a clean crash into a large reinforced building.

Over and over again

"Shady Companies With Ties to Israel Wiretap the U.S. for the NSA" by James Bamford (note the 'dual loyalist' passing technology to his only Homeland):
"What is especially troubling is that both companies have had extensive ties to Israel, as well as links to that country’s intelligence service, a country with a long and aggressive history of spying on the U.S.
In fact, according to Binney, the advanced analytical and data mining software the NSA had developed for both its worldwide and international eavesdropping operations was secretly passed to Israel by a mid-level employee, apparently with close connections to the country. The employee, a technical director in the Operations Directorate, “who was a very strong supporter of Israel,” said Binney, “gave, unbeknownst to us, he gave the software that we had, doing these fast rates, to the Israelis.”
Because of his position, it was something Binney should have been alerted to, but wasn’t.
“In addition to being the technical director,” he said, “I was the chair of the TAP, it’s the Technical Advisory Panel, the foreign relations council. We’re supposed to know what all these foreign countries, technically what they’re doing…. They didn’t do this that way, it was under the table.” After discovering the secret transfer of the technology, Binney argued that the agency simply pass it to them officially, and in that way get something in return, such as access to communications terminals. “So we gave it to them for switches,” he said. “For access.”
But Binney now suspects that Israeli intelligence in turn passed the technology on to Israeli companies who operate in countries around the world, including the U.S. In return, the companies could act as extensions of Israeli intelligence and pass critical military, economic and diplomatic information back to them. “And then five years later, four or five years later, you see a Narus device,” he said. “I think there’s a connection there, we don’t know for sure.”
Narus was formed in Israel in November 1997 by six Israelis with much of its money coming from Walden Israel, an Israeli venture capital company. Its founder and former chairman, Ori Cohen, once told Israel’s Fortune Magazine that his partners have done technology work for Israeli intelligence. And among the five founders was Stanislav Khirman, a husky, bearded Russian who had previously worked for Elta Systems, Inc. A division of Israel Aerospace Industries, Ltd., Elta specializes in developing advanced eavesdropping systems for Israeli defense and intelligence organizations. At Narus, Khirman became the chief technology officer.
A few years ago, Narus boasted that it is “known for its ability to capture and collect data from the largest networks around the world.” The company says its equipment is capable of “providing unparalleled monitoring and intercept capabilities to service providers and government organizations around the world” and that “Anything that comes through [an Internet protocol network], we can record. We can reconstruct all of their e-mails, along with attachments, see what Web pages they clicked on, we can reconstruct their [Voice over Internet Protocol] calls.”
Like Narus, Verint was founded by in Israel by Israelis, including Jacob “Kobi” Alexander, a former Israeli intelligence officer. Some 800 employees work for Verint, including 350 who are based in Israel, primarily working in research and development and operations, according to the Jerusalem Post. Among its products is STAR-GATE, which according to the company’s sales literature, lets “service providers … access communications on virtually any type of network, retain communication data for as long as required, and query and deliver content and data …” and was “[d]esigned to manage vast numbers of targets, concurrent sessions, call data records, and communications.”
In a rare and candid admission to Forbes, Retired Brig. Gen. Hanan Gefen, a former commander of the highly secret Unit 8200, Israel’s NSA, noted his former organization’s influence on Comverse, which owns Verint, as well as other Israeli companies that dominate the U.S. eavesdropping and surveillance market. “Take NICE, Comverse and Check Point for example, three of the largest high-tech companies, which were all directly influenced by 8200 technology,” said Gefen. “Check Point was founded by Unit alumni. Comverse’s main product, the Logger, is based on the Unit’s technology.”
According to a former chief of Unit 8200, both the veterans of the group and much of the high-tech intelligence equipment they developed are now employed in high-tech firms around the world. “Cautious estimates indicate that in the past few years,” he told a reporter for the Israeli newspaper Ha’artez in 2000, “Unit 8200 veterans have set up some 30 to 40 high-tech companies, including 5 to 10 that were floated on Wall Street.” Referred to only as “Brigadier General B,” he added, “This correlation between serving in the intelligence Unit 8200 and starting successful high-tech companies is not coincidental: Many of the technologies in use around the world and developed in Israel were originally military technologies and were developed and improved by Unit veterans.”
Equally troubling is the issue of corruption. Kobi Alexander, the founder and former chairman of Verint, is now a fugitive, wanted by the FBI on nearly three dozen charges of fraud, theft, lying, bribery, money laundering and other crimes. And two of his top associates at Comverse, Chief Financial Officer David Kreinberg and former General Counsel William F. Sorin, were also indicted in the scheme and later pleaded guilty, with both serving time in prison and paying millions of dollars in fines and penalties."
"Pay TV piracy hits News":
"The issue is particularly sensitive because Operational Security, which is headed by Reuven Hasak, a former deputy director of the Israeli domestic secret service, Shin Bet, operates in an area which historically has had close supervision by the Office of the Chairman, Rupert Murdoch.

The security group was initially set up in a News Corp subsidiary, News Datacom Systems (later known as NDS), to battle internal fraud and to target piracy against its own pay TV companies. But documents uncovered by the Financial Review reveal that NDS encouraged and facilitated piracy by hackers not only of its competitors but also of companies, such as Foxtel, for whom NDS provided pay TV smart cards. "Mohamed Merah’s family denies he was Toulouse, France gunman"

"Born Again! George Galloway Stuns Labor, Shakes Up Britain"  Everybody knows that all the political parties, across the 'left'-right spectrum, are completely owned by the 1%.  Give the voters a plausible choice that is not owned by the 1%, and that candidate will win.

"‘We must expel Arabs and take their place’: Institute for Palestine Studies publishes 1937 Ben-Gurion letter advocating the expulsion of Palestinians"  Long-term planning.  Ben-Gurion was the first lite Zionist (funny how this is discussed  in the leading lite Zionist site).  Note the use of the army as a method of convincing - i. e., terrorizing - the Palestinians into leaving.  The Zionist concern about Iran's mythical nuclear program has to do with the loss of the nuclear bargaining chip, the ability to convince your opponents by implied threat of nuclear annihilation.  It is amazing how nothing has changed since Ben-Gurion set out the terms of the lite Zionist plan, building Israel piece by piece, while lite Zionists buy time behind the pretense of Jew-on-Jew arguing:
"When we acquire one thousand or 10,000 dunams, we feel elated. It does not hurt  our feelings that by this acquisition we are not in possession of the whole land. This is because this increase in possession is of consequence not only in itself, but because through it we increase our strength, and every increase in strength helps in the possession of the land as a whole. The establishment of a state, even if only on a portion of the land, is the maximal reinforcement of our strength at the present time and a powerful boost to our historical endeavors to liberate the entire country.
We shall admit into the state all the Jews we can. We firmly believe that we can admit more than two million Jews. We shall build a multi-faceted Jewish economy-- agricultural, industrial, and maritime. We shall organize an advanced defense force—a superior army which I have no doubt will be one of the best  armies in the world. At that point I am confident that we would not fail in settling in the remaining parts of the country, through agreement and understanding with our Arab neighbors, or through some other means."
"Iran Suspends Reuters Over Faulty Headline" Faulty? Nothing faulty about it, just another example of the Jew-controlled media creating the suspicion of threat around Iran, this time using one of their chief tricks, a lying headline.  Accurate title:  "Reuters staff lose media credentials in Tehran for lying".  Stephen J. Adler is the editor-in-chief.
