Speaking of hasbara, there was a hasbara - which sounds like a disease you catch from a monkey which involves bleeding from all orifices - breakout at Reddit. A moderator - and possibly a very sick individual - in /r/conspiracy was accused of deleting comments he deemed to be 'anti-Semitic', and may have been manipulating the board to make it look like there was real anti-Semitism when it was all created by him ('false-flag' moderating).  Resolved by the resignation of the moderator.  Of course, it is impossible to know what is really going on, and I would expect more surreptitious hasbara attacks in the future.

If you eliminate 'anti-Semitic' comments from conspiracy discussion, you are pretty much left with discussing chemtrails and fluoridation, and maybe not even that.

My modem went to that modem heaven in the sky, and I had to head to the big city to swap it out for another.  That and my internet-tired eyes explain my little holiday from posting.  I've been watching gasoline prices fall and wondering what would happen if a large number of people became aware of the connection between gas prices and warmongering.

Despite attempts at barefaced lying - the educated debate being not whether Feinstein is a traitor but what the punishment for her treason should be - and 'gibberish' - propaganda so bad and obvious some are suggesting that it represents the end of any credibility for '60 Minutes' - it remains a remarkable fact that billions and billions of dollars have been spent without even one 'terrorist' caught or terrorist attack thwarted.  Amazing.  You'd think that by accident they might have stumbled over one!  It is not bad luck.  It is in the nature of mass surveillance operations that the information is unusable, in fact counterproductive, as the analysts become snowed under by the sheer volume of data.  Of course, the government has no interest in stopping terrorism.  All the incentives lead the other way.

So why do they do it?  Part of it is institutional.  There are so many careers resting on mass surveillance, and so many private contractors making enormous profits, that there is no incentive to see how ridiculous it is.  More importantly, however, the real aim of the program is social control, creating a state of paranoia - there are no secrets from us! - which is supposed to scare people away from even considering 'subversion'.  The 1% are so terrified that the masses will rise up and end this incredible inequality gravy train that they will do anything to scare people into quiet complacency.  Totalitarianism to save income inequality.

There is a paradox in Greenwald's trickle leaking.  Step by step, people are being educated that Big Brother indeed knows everything.  This is not bad at all for the 1%, with the anti-subversive paranoia in place - the NSA mass surveillance doesn't work as an anti-subversive program unless everybody is aware of the extent of it - and no real reforms on the horizon in the United States.  In fact, it is only the BRICS who will do anything about this, handing them yet another competitive advantage over the failing economies of the West, for mass surveillance is a deterrent to not only subversion, but also innovation.

I'd like to hope at this late point that we all know that:

1. the hijackers were using stolen identities;
2. the 'laxness' of American visa issuing in Saudi Arabia was part of the plot to frame the Saudis; 
3. the two hijackers who were working for the FBI went out of their way to develop Saudi ties while in the United States; and
4. the Saudis could not possibly have been behind September 11 unless they controlled NORAD and were capable of removing the normal automatic protections from the targets (which is of course to say the obvious, that the ultimate conspirators had to be at a very high level of the US government).

There is a deplorable lack of understanding about how modern conspiracies work. At least since the JFK assassination, all big American conspiracies have been constructed with multiple patsies built in. This is to provide the conspirators options on who to blame (including possible future blackmail and control), and a protection for the conspiracy (the JFK assassination cover-up was encouraged by the threat of blaming the assassination on the patsy of the Soviet Union, setting up WWIII).

There is this bizarre idea in the United States that the Saudi princes set their oil production levels to accommodate American economic concerns because somehow the Saudi princes like Americans.  In particular, Bandar Bush is thought to be overflowing with sheer beneficence towards Americans.  This is bullshit.  Obviously.  The Saudis need American military protection which nobody else can provide, and these September 11 documents constitute blackmail that has been held in storage for a rainy day.  Now that Bandar has clearly lost his mind and is doing everything he can to upset the desired and necessary Iranian-American peace, it is raining hard, so we are seeing a threat to the Saudi royals.  This is just part of the program to push the suddenly rogue Saudis into line.

Fake-ileaks

"Team Omidyar, World Police: eBay puts user data on a “silver platter” for law enforcement" by Mark Ames.  Some would say that there is no harm in letting Greenwald and Omidyar do their thing, but the harm is obvious, and terrible:

1. with all its financial clout, Fake-ileaks can push real leak-gathering organizations, ones that can't be controlled for the interests of the 1%, out of the picture;
2. Fake-ileaks can serve as a kind of honeytrap for potential leakers, alerting officials to pick up the whistleblowers before they can leak (Omidyar's weird hyper-participation in law enforcement is all we need to know); and
3. Fake-ileaks can suck up and hide the leaks that would do real damage to the 1%, much as Greenwald appears to be doing now (of course, we can't possibly know, as Greenwald can keep all the evidence hidden!).

We can't stop Greenwald and Omidyar, but we can put real whistleblowers on alert to the massive danger they face - both personally, and to the integrity of the information they wish to share - in dealing with Omidyar.

I have only one question:  why would the CIA send a Jew?  It really is relevant, because the Iranians would be able to quickly find out.  In fact, it may be what raised the red flags that got him caught.  Is there some kind of affirmative action program in the CIA to make sure the Jews get their quota of exciting field work?  Or are there so many foreign Jewish 'businessmen' wandering around 'anti-Semitic' Iran that another one would blend right in?  Or is there a particular pressure on the CIA to allow Jews to do their patriotic duty (to Israel, naturally) and fight the good fight to ruin Iran?  In the real world of victims of Zionism everybody knows that American Jews bear huge responsibility for the stealing and murder by the Zionist state - a state which constantly threatens Iran with mayhem and nuclear annihilation - so sending one on a mission to harm Iran seems more than a little dumb.

Van Dyke has exactly the same biography that an undercover American operative would have, and his actions make no sense other than as an employee of either the American government or a contractor working for the American government.

Work backwards

I've been fretting about the plight of those who have the bitter task of explaining the refusal of the New Yorker and the Washington Post to publish Hersh's latest revelations with the extra degree of difficulty of doing so without using the term 'Jew-controlled media'.  Can't be done, but they have to try anyway.

We start with a political situation and we work backwards (very Kantian).  For example, what restrictions on truth speaking would be required to enable the Jews to steal an empire across the Middle East?  Well, for one, all of what is called 'anti-Semitic' speech must be forbidden.  Otherwise, we could all speak the truth and their empire would be finished.

What else is important?  The sanctity of the false flag, as a necessity in starting all the myriad Wars For The Jews (btw, 'Wars For The Jews' particularly rankles).  Thus, despite the fact the false flag in Syria failed, they and their agents can't give up:  "Investigating chemical weapons in Syria".  b at Moon of Alabama does great analysis based on internet research.  Brown Moses?  Not so good.

We can apply the technique elsewhere.  Leaks of secrets terrify the 1%.  What do?  Set up a parallel secret-gathering operation to suck up all the secrets that might go to, say, Wikileaks (still doing outstanding and vital work:  "2nd Wikileaks release: US refusing to budge on TPP issues").  Fund it by a billionaire with a track record of grossly misusing the effective monopoly of PayPal to attempt to shut down Wikileaks.  Once the secrets are grabbed, Greenwald and Omidyar can decide which ones are safe for us to see, and which ones would damage the 1%.  I'm not just making up this fear.  Omidyar attempted to ruin Wikileaks.   

Of course the 1% will create an organization to save themselves from the dangers posed by unregulated leaking.  Of course they will.  The appearance of the organization is inevitable once we know what the 1% want to do, just as the ban on 'anti-Semitic' speech is inevitable once we realize that World Jewry is stealing an empire across the Middle East.

"New Yorker, Washington Post Passed On Seymour Hersh Syria Report"  The Jew-controlled media is not going to publish the outing of an important, and very nearly deadly, false flag, when the false flag is one of the most important weapons of the warmongering of World Jewry.

The tools of World Jewry in its never-ending efforts to pit gentile against gentile in massive wars are:

1. ZOG (despite their assertions, again, that they will sit this one out - and note how Mondoweiss is used as propaganda arm of World Jewry - AIPAC is putting the full-court press on Congress to sanction the Iran talks to oblivion);

Big geopolitics is very important.  Remember that the Jews fostered the special relationship between Israel and the United States by asserting that Israel was the bulwark against growing Soviet influence in the Middle East.  After the fall of the Soviet Union, the Jews created the Global War on Terror - and I hope that they pay for that atrocity for the rest of time - in order to maintain that relationship, this time with Israel as the bulwark against Islamist terrorism against American interests.

Now, Saudi Israelia has promoted Islamist rebels in Syria (and Iraq, and elsewhere) so successfully that they have created a monster, complete with chemical weapons capability, that really does threaten American interests, and the big American geopolitical thinkers are warming to Iran to redress the balance in the Middle East thrown off by Bandar's manic attacks and his alliance with World Jewry.

The Israeli thinkers who were against interfering with Assad were right.  The delicate balance that gave World Jewry so much power has been seriously damaged (with the consequences extending outside of American power and at least as far as Afghanistan).  Sometimes being too successful, and too full of hubris (note how Bibi's actions are making things worse), catches up with you.

The conspiracies to discredit

The 'intelligence' that we've seen Stratfor selling is remarkably bad, so you have to wonder if it is really up to other things, such as the infiltration and discrediting of activist organizations.

If you wanted to make some money you might, for example, set up an anti-Russian activist organization in the Ukraine and wait for the American government money to come rolling in.  All the color revolutions are American run, so a guy who organizes such revolutions is automatically suspect.

I am sympathetic to the idea that we shouldn't allow ourselves to be twisted into turning on real activists through the trickery of the agents of the 1%, but given the sorry state of today's 'progressive' politics, extreme skepticism is always warranted.

Dealing with a group like Stratfor under any circumstances is either remarkably stupid or prima facie evidence of wrongdoing.

By the way, Occupy has a list of real accomplishments (and there is consequent probable infiltration), but have the Yes Men done anything other than be a sort of hipster comedy group?

The Canadian slides

One of the things the new owners of the secrets about the harvesting of our privacy tell us is that mass document dumps are impossible because of the necessity of protecting the safety of the snoops, but the actual redaction process seems to be completely arbitrary:  "The Oddities of CBC’s Snowden Redactions". 

I also must say I am somewhat stumped about the logic, if not the irony, of protecting the privacy of snoops operating utterly illegally, as they all are.  It seems to be if you are rotten enough to engage in this kind of work you have to accept the risk of public exposure.

A close reading of what the Canadian slides reveal about the thinking of the snoops:  "Interpreting the CSEC Presentation: Watch Out Olympians in the House!"  Note also the selective censorship helpfully provided to us by the media.

There is no possible argument that this secret stealing had anything to do with security.  It was entirely industrial espionage, intended to turn over Brazilian secrets to the Canadian resource industry to give it a leg up in exploiting Brazilian natural resources..

This obsession of the !% and its minions in collecting secrets has a very fin-de-siècle air about it.  They have a lot more wealth tied up in secrecy than the 99% do, and a lot of people working for the 1% know these secrets and could reveal them.  We're seeing more and more wealth tied up in secrets as the truth would be too embarrassing or too revealing of illegality and general sociopathic behavior. 

Any country that is a victim of the United States could start revealing the names of CIA station chiefs and other employees.  There is a kind of 'gentleman's agreement' not to do this, but the Americans are behaving so abominably that nobody considers them to be gentlemen.
