Do you feel the lash?

"Kurdistan Referendum: ‘Divide and Rule Policy’ against the Islamic Countries".

"The Kurdish independence genie is well and truly out of the bottle".  "US-Israeli Plot to Establish ‘Barzani State’ in Iraqi Kurdistan Doomed to Failure".  The mess this creates - many dead people, mostly Kurds, and decades of violent disruption - is yet another reason why the world simply can't afford to have a Jewish-controlled state in the Middle East.

"Breaking: Captured ISIS Fighters Admit Cooperation between ISIS and U.S".

"Labour Party Conference and the Great Antisemitism Stitch-Up" (Wight). "Israeli embassy accused of pressuring UK university to censor free speech".

"Jews do NOT control the media!" (Barrett). "I Believe Some of Your Best Friends Are Jewish" (Stephens)!  The nature of the attacks on Plame/Giraldi prove the Plame/Giraldi thesis.  The over-doing of the attack from positions of power is intended to discourage others.

"Three megadonors (who just happen to love Israel) are pushing Trump against Iran deal" (Weiss).  Note at the end the modified position of Weiss, essentially blaming the warmongering on the gentiles!  You have to laugh.

"Canadian FM Freeland Was Slated to Be George Soros’ Authorized Biographer" (Helmer).  On the Freeland/Soros connection, and the depth of connections between the Canadian government and 'respectable' European neo-fascism/irredentism.

"DailyStormer Likely Losing Its .IS Domain Today" (my emphasis in red):
"Daily Stormer is not hosted in Iceland, but in the US. It is for this reason that Iceland’s hate speech laws cannot be enforced to shut down the website. A registered domain can be likened to an address which merely points to a site’s IP. However, ISNIC does have terms of service, and it is through these terms that the site may lose its .is domain.

“Our terms of service are very clear,” Jens told us. “All registrants must provide proof of who they are, and where they are physically located. [Daily Stormer founder Andrew Anglin] doesn’t want to do that.”

Andrew reportedly told Jens that he would not provide this information as he is concerned that Jens would in turn give this information to the Icelandic police, who may then give it to law enforcement in the United States. Jens confirmed that he would in fact do exactly that."

"Five Things to Remember About Catalonia". "How to break a revolution".  "Short Cuts".

"Why Won't American Media Tell the Truth About What's Happening in Venezuela?"  Application of the Haitian model.

"Russia and US will build a new space station".  Underlying this is the massive technical superiority of the Russians.

"Assange Reminds The World That Facebook Did Collude In 2016, But With Hillary" (Durden).  Enthusiastic and undeniable bias from the very top for the "first woman President of the United States".

"The Slimy Business of Russia-gate" (Parry):
"The neocons also have been targeting Russia for regime change for years because they see Russian President Vladimir Putin as the chief obstacle to their goal of helping Israel achieve its desire for “regime change” in Syria and a chance to bomb-bomb-bomb Iran. Russia-gate has served the neocons well as a very convenient way to pull Democrats, liberals and even progressives into the neocon agenda because Russia-gate is sold as a powerful weapon for the anti-Trump Resistance."

A particularly egregious example of the lying:  "Hello Rachel Maddow, MSNBC, USA Today, CNN, Washington Post, Slate: Another Major Russia Story Falls Apart" (Mish).

"If the governor of Puerto Rico had a lick of sense he would reach out to Iran for help."

"Firestorm over racially charged remark prompts Massey College to drop title of ‘master’ for head of school" (hilarious supremacist misidentification of the problem and solution!; my emphasis in red):
"An incident in which a professor used the term “master” in a remark directed at a Black student has prompted Massey College to change the title it gives its leader.

On Tuesday, Michael Marrus, an emeritus professor of history and scholar of the Holocaust, was sitting with three junior fellows — graduate students who earned residence at Massey College through academic and extracurricular achievements — when Hugh Segal, the head of the college (known as the master), arrived at their table.

When Segal asked to join them, Marrus allegedly said to a Black graduate student: “You know this is your master, eh? Do you feel the lash?”

According to media reports, Segal spoke to Marrus after the students left, telling him that his comment was inappropriate. The comment was widely viewed as a reference to slavery."

Troubling

"Yet Another Major Russia Story Falls Apart. Is Skepticism Permissible Yet?" (Greenwald).  Parry has been on a roll recently:  "The Slimy Business of Russia-gate" and "WPost Pushes More Dubious Russia-bashing".  "Warner sees Reddit as potential target for Russian influence"!  Be prepared for eight years of this crap, because, frankly, the Clintonistas/Democrats have no real substantive policy differences from Trump, and an overwhelming need to change the subject so nobody will notice ("The Rise of the New McCarthyism"), and thus have no other options but to make up stuff to satisfy news cycles inside the Beltway.

"The Killing Of History" (Pilger):
"Returning to the US, I am struck by the silence and the absence of an opposition - on the streets, in journalism and the arts, as if dissent once tolerated in the "mainstream" has regressed to a dissidence: a metaphoric underground.

There is plenty of sound and fury at Trump the odious one, the "fascist", but almost none at Trump the symptom and caricature of an enduring system of conquest and extremism."
 Looks like BuzzFeed is going to be gawkered, perhaps the only victim of the Steele dossier!:  "Is the Steele Dossier About to Have Its Moment of Truth?".

"Bill Clinton’s Stone Mountain Moment".  It is funny how this crime bill was a big part of black voter non-turnout which was critical in Killary's loss, and the Clintonista response is the largely symbolic one of monument removal.  Is Stone Mountain on the list?

"Israel covers up role in Myanmar crimes against Rohingya" (Abunimah).

Interview with Rania Khalek (Part 1/Part 2):
". . . there's an ideological basis, an ideological foundation for why ISIS did the things that they did. It doesn't happen in a vacuum. It doesn't come from nowhere. Its ideology is based in Salafism and Wahhabism and it's an ideology that is the state religion of the U.S.'s greatest ally in the region, Saudi Arabia.

And that's something that Yazidis kept saying to me that I never, ever, ever see expressed in any articles that I read about the Yazidis is they always, always say, "How come Saudi Arabia is allowed to push these ideas everywhere." That's where this comes from. This is who did this to us as this ideology. And they mention the Saudis and they mention the U.S.. For some reason, this will be in other articles I have coming out about this issue, but I never, ever read about this. And so if anything, hearing the kinds of stories I heard, at the end of the day, as atrocious as they were and as traumatic as they were to hear, what made me angriest is that nobody's talking about the ideological basis behind this, which is a fascistic ideology that is tolerated because it comes from America's number one ally in the region.

AARON MATÉ: Yeah, and really on this front I have to point out, for raising this issue in the same way that we've seen supporters of Israel call critics of Israel anti-Semites. I've recently been seeing some critics of yours paint your argument as Islamophobic for pointing to the particularly dangerous facets of Wahhabism in the Saudi Arabian version which I found a very interesting parallel. I don't know, a brief comment on that?

RANIA KHALEK: Well, yeah, so I think that that's a really great way you just put it is if anything, the people who want to defend Wahhabism have adopted a similar strategy as we've seen Israel's most excited supporters take views against its critics, which is to call anybody who criticizes Zionism or Israel or the policies of Israel, an anti-Semite. And it's really sad to me to see people taking that strategy and applying it to the issue of Islamophobia. Especially at a time when in America, Islamophobia is at its peak. It's at its worst it's ever been. We have a president right now who literally got elected on hatred for Muslims.

So, it's not something that should ever be, I feel like it makes a mockery of Islamophobia to try and say that and austere strain of Sunni Islam like Wahhabism, to say that criticizing that is somehow Islamophobic. It's absolutely absurd. And beyond that, I will tell you right now, it is not just, this is the fascistic ideology in the Middle East is Wahhabism and Salafi-like Jihadi style thinking, which comes directly out of Wahhabism.

And so for someone like me, who's a Middle Easterner, who at the moment is based in the region, I can tell you right now this is a conversation here that people are having and they don't see this being Islamophobic whatsoever, and it's really absurd for people in the West to be projecting Western dynamics of Islamophobia onto a region that actually does have to deal with groups that want to impose, Sharia Law that want to impose Al-Qaeda style laws. Because we do have Al-Qaeda in this region that does want to impose this on people, that wants to wipe out minorities, that wants to wipe out secular people, that wants to wipe out anybody who doesn't agree with them.

And so I think it's just really, there's a lot of conversations happening among progressives in the U.S. about how it might be Islamophobic to be criticizing, like I said, Wahhabism and Salafism, but from my vantage point in this region, it just looks so absurd and so disconnected from reality.

AARON MATÉ: The term that I think Max Blumenthal coined, correct me if I'm wrong is “Woke Wahhabism.”

RANIA KHALEK: Yeah, [laughs] “Woke Wahhabism.” I don't think people understand. It's so insane. Wahhabism literally preaches like, supremacy. It's like the Middle East's version of white supremacy is Wahhabism. It's like these Al-Qaeda groups, these ISIS groups are the Middle East's version of the KKK and of these white nationalist groups you see in the U.S., and so if anything, these are kind of similar symptoms of something I see happening around the globe which is this sort of rise of fascism, but we always have to remember that in the Middle East, in the context of the Middle East and even beyond the Middle East, Wahhabism isn't rising naturally. Salafism isn't rising naturally. Saudi Arabia has spent a hundred billion dollars plus over the past several decades with the U.S.'s approval and participation supporting this ideology in Muslim communities around the world. And this is something we need to be talking about or else we end up conceding the conversation about these issues to the far Right, which is just going to blanket brush every single Muslim as being a part of the Wahhabi style doctrine, which isn't true.

And so, I think that this is a conversation that the Left needs to be having. It needs to be on the forefront of because at the end of the day, Wahhabism is really just a tool of American imperialism because the Saudis don't do anything without America's approval and without America participating in helping them do it. So that’s something to consider when we do have these conversations. “Woke Wahhabism.” [laughs]."

The Map

"Kurdistan – what the referendum is hiding" (Meyssan).  This is superb - read the whole thing.

"‘KURDISTAN’- Redrawing the Middle East or the ‘New Middle East’ Project".  The Map.

"Syria prepared to discuss post-war autonomy with Kurds in geo-strategic blow to the US and Israel" (Garrie):
"If, as is expected, Turkey sends its troops into northern Iraq, it would send a message to the wider Kurdish movement that Kurdish independence equals creating not a greater Kurdistan but a greater Turkey.

Thus, the example of Iraq when viewed simultaneously with the generous offer from Syria, may lead to moderate elements within the Syrian Kurdish movement making the pragmatic choice for guaranteed autonomy versus the prospect of Turkish domination."
It is worth remembering that Turkey intends to reconquer the Ottoman lands, which it feels were wrongly stripped away, and create Greater Turkey, and the Kurds are setting up an excuse for Turkish invasion.  Barzani is no more and no less than a thuggish organized crime boss, whose ultimate paymaster may in fact be Turkey.  I am very suspicious of the much-discussed 'break' between Turkey and Israel, based on the fact that the Turks still intend to get very rich piping stolen hydrocarbons from the Levant to Europe.

Inside the war museum

"‘NYT’ leaves out Dennis Ross’s charge to US Jews: ‘We need to be advocates for Israel’" (Weiss).  Note how Giraldi has been kicked off the American Conservative, a publication which used to garner some respect.  Also note that
Weiss is still, and always will be, a lite Zionist pos, just another trickster warmonger with a stunt:  "I disapprove of Giraldi’s broadbrush prejudicial attack . . . ."

"National Holocaust Monument unveiled in downtown Ottawa" (my emphasis in red):
"For many in the invitation-only crowd that gathered inside the National War Museuma heavy downpour forced the event to be relocated across the street from the monument — it was an emotional moment."
Inside the war museum is such an appropriate location, forced there by God's wrath.

The weaponization of the Holocaust is the main tool used for warmongering by the warmongers.  It should be utterly forgotten, never mentioned by anyone, never taught in schools, never memorialized.  Literally millions upon millions of lives have been ruined in a terrible series of wars and, if you call out the perps, your life will be ruined, all based on an invocation of the Holocaust, and its supposed imminent repetition if the truth is spoken.  Thus, there is no way to block the wars.

"Analysis by Analogy: Myanmar is not Syria" (Cartalucci):
"In essence, the primary difference between Myanmar and Syria is that while in Syria the US is fueling militancy to topple a government beyond its reach and influence, in Myanmar, the US is manipulating the entire nation via two vectors its controls entirely – a militancy it is growing on one side, and a political establishment it has created from whole-cloth on the other."

Grilled-cheese, with the hyphen, and a cocktail

"Valerie Plame resigns from Ploughshares Fund after tweeting anti-Semitic article".  "After article was rejected and publishers yawned, Walt and Mearsheimer dropped ‘The Israel Lobby’ in 2005" (Weiss).  You could (and should) argue that this is the book that stopped WWIII.

Problems with democracy:  "According to Emmanuel Macron, the days of popular sovereignty are over" (Meyssan) and "Theresa May Takes Her Darkest, Most Desperate Turn Yet".

"Marchers demand Haiti's president step down".  "Haiti: Thousands march against new budget".  Do a Google News search - you won't find much.

"Outlets That Scolded Sanders Over Deficits Uniformly Silent on $700B Pentagon Handout" (Johnson).   They just slipped that in, almost without notice.

"The Black Panthers Didn’t Fight Symbols" (Ford).  It is curious (or not) that we hear so much about the guys involved in constitutionally-protected political protest, but literally nothing about the extreme right-wing groups involved in actual terrorism (against abortion providers and non-white people), while police repression and mass incarceration as methods of social control continue without comment.

"Pakistan army pushed political role for militant-linked groups".  Nothing new.

"Crackdown in Catalonia".  Another example of the rich northern guys deciding they are tired of supporting the lazy feckless southerners, but heavily cloaked in a weird soppy identity politics kumbaya shit!  Quebeckers tired of independence when they realized that living next to the biggest psychotic asshole in the world required the protection of a larger political union.  In Europe, the big asshole is Germany, and do Catalonians think they'll do better battling the asshole by themselves?  Still, the over-reaction by the Spanish state would make anybody want to leave.

"How She Lost".  The problem with running a campaign purely on demographics is that you assume voters are static in their possible choices, and this is built into their very identity.  This is profoundly racist/bigoted, and leads to two problems:
  1. your assumption that votes are 'in the bag' means you lack incentive to provide any positive policy proposals for the benefit of your 'locked-in' supporters beyond airy platitudes, and thus can lazily avoid making any hard choices in an attempt to appeal to everybody;
  2. people resent being taken for granted on the basis that they have no choice but to vote for you, and, in response, either vote differently, or don't vote.

Exorcisms

"Alan Dershowitz: Valerie Plame knew exactly what she was tweeting":
"The retweeted article by Phillip Giraldi itself contains the usual anti-Semitic tropes: Jews are guilty of dual loyalty; they control politicians, the media and entertainment; they want the U.S. to fight wars for the country to which they have real allegiance – Israel; they are dangerous to America. Giraldi has been pushing this garbage for years and Plame is one of his fans.

But this particular article goes much further in its neo-Nazi imagery. It states: “The media should be required to label (Jews like Bill Kristol) at the bottom of the television screen whenever they pop up …. That would be kind-of-like a warning label on a bottle of rat poison – translating roughly as ingest even the tiniest little dosage of the nonsense spewed by Bill Kristol at your own peril."

In other words, Jewish supporters of Israel – like Kristol and me – should have to wear the modern-day equivalent of the yellow star Nazis forced Jews to wear before we are allowed to appear on TV and poison real Americans. Nice stuff that Plame was retweeting and characterizing as thoughtful."

"‘Jewish extremists’ condemned for vandalising Jerusalem church":
"In addition to the “huge damage” caused by the destruction of statues and windows, there is the deep pain caused by “the fanaticism of these groups who do not want to accept diversity and the faith of others,” the patriarch said."

Dangerous predictions

"Pepe Escobar Unmasks Trump Doctrine: Carnage For New Axis Of Evil".  I don't agree, but we'll see.  What I'm seeing:
  1. the Korea thing will continue to stumble along, as there is no reason for any of the parties, except North Korea, to want to resolve it;
  2. there will continue to be provocations against Russia in order to encourage a warmongering feel to Washington, so more arms can be sold, but Russia will always wisely fail to take the bait, so nothing big will happen;
  3. The Ukrainians are going to be allowed to sink as low as any country can possibly sink, and the world will treat them as if they have a powerful stink, which they do;
  4. 'Iran talk' will continue, ad nauseam, as that is the preoccupation of BigJew, and as it is 'anti-Semitism' to do the only thing that would stop them, nobody will dare mention it, but nothing big will happen as the Europeans will, for once, stand up to protect their energy supplies (protecting energy supplies is the full extent of Eurotrash 'morality');
  5. the deterrorization operation will continue in Syria, with a few interruptions by American traitor generals and the rogue CIA, but the Americans will back off when challenged as the official American position is now truly anti-ISIS (a marked shift from under Barry, when the headloppers were US ally #1!); and
  6. despite complicated conspiratorial efforts like the Rohingya operation to disrupt the New Silk Road, China and the other BRICS will carry on building things and getting rich, while the Americans dither and moan on their odd BigJew leash.
The big problem is going to be Greater Kurdistan, as the Israelis have decided that the mass disruptions that stirring up the Kurds will cause is the best application of their peculiar ability to do Evil.  That is a way to get a geographically limited WWIII, and the tools to stop it don't seem to exist as long as there is no way to block the machinations of BigJew in the US.  It is also quite possible, based on years of precedent, to see another coup attempt in Venezuela.  Also, as always, we could see a surprise Israeli attack on Lebanon, to steal land and water, with mass media wailing for American involvement, and the only constraint being that at least some Israeli generals are aware that Hezbollah would beat them.

Plame the Jews

"It Turns Out Valerie Plame Linked To An Anti-Semitic Website Before Her Latest Tweetstorm".  The url is 'Plame the Jews'!

Here it is again:  "America's Jews Are Driving America's Wars".  Comment by Greg Bacon.  Despite all the wailing, Giraldi's conclusion is inescapable, and acknowledged.  This group supremacist warmongering has to stop.

Words and deeds

"Of Penguins And A Nuclear Iran: Will Trump Scrap "The Deal"?" (Durden).  When the neocons and their political stooges talked belligerently, it was to provide the PR basis for a series of completely illegal wars - all obviously for the sole benefit of Zionism - which were clearly not in American national interests.  The fact that the United States has been largely third-world-ized by these wars is proof of that.  When Trump talks belligerently, it is part of what he perceives as deal-making, and the talk is in lieu of action.  It is when he stops talking (and tweeting) that we should get nervous.

Premature complaints:
  1. "Listening to The Donald at the UN" (The Saker);
  2. "Trump Falls in Line with Interventionism" (Parry);
  3. "Trump’s UN Speech" (Roberts);
  4. "Trump’s UN speech “most atrocious” by a US pres. – Wilkerson".
Looking at Trump's record we have the silly attack on the Syrian airstrip (with warning to the Russians and thus the Syrians), and a small troop increase in Afghanistan (terrible as complete withdrawal is the only sane solution, but just a blip in the larger scheme of things), and a lot of sanctions (mostly with huge holes), and on the other side:
  1. no war with Russia (none of Clinton's desired WWIII);
  2. no war with North Korea;
  3. apparent cooperation - with a few jukes from the rogue generals and CIA - with the Russians in Syria with a view to deterrorizing the entire country;
  4. refusal to provide a cordon sanitaire in Syria for land stolen by Jews;
  5. coolness towards the oligarchs/Nazis running Ukraine;
  6. active peacemongering between Qatar and the crazed Sauds.
Things could change - BigJew is always a threat - but by American Presidential standards that is an impressive record so far.

"Why is the USA in Afghanistan? An Answer To The Big Question".  Smart analysis, but misses destabilizing/weakening Pakistan, a Muslim state with nukes and thus a preoccupation of BigJew.

"‘Regime instability’ in Iran is aim of young Israel advocate’s memo to White House" (Weiss).  The BigJew push now is to counter the perceived massive increase in Iranian power and status caused, ironically, by the American wars on Iraq and Syria.

"Morgan Freeman Declares War on Russia at Rob Reiner’s Behest".  ""We Are At War" - Morgan Freeman Is The Face Of The New "Committee To Investigate Russia"" (the first thing monsters do is establish a 'committee'):
"Of course, it helps that actor, director, and lifelong Democrat Rob Reiner is behind it - he's teamed up with neocons David Frum, Max Boot, and national security insiders like James Clapper."

"Canadian teacher wins against Israel lobby effort to have her fired" (Abunimah). At some point even the most stupid people are going to put the pieces together and figure out who the real bad guys are.

"So, Trump Tower WAS actually wiretapped by the Obama people." (Lang).  The Trump claim that received the most derision from the 'smart' set.

"The Sci-Fi Roots of the Far Right—From ‘Lucifer’s Hammer’ to Newt’s Moon Base to Donald’s Wall".  Interesting, but it is based on the Clintonista cartoon version of Trump sharing all the views of his wildest supporters.

"Turkey Faces Threats for Inking Landmark Arms Deal with Russia":
"The long awaited deal has taken place. A deposit has already been paid. Turkey has finally signed the $2.5bn (£1.9bn) contract with Russia to buy S-400 advanced missile defense system. With a range of 400 kilometers (248 miles), the system can shoot down up to 80 targets simultaneously, aiming two missiles at each one, at an altitude of up to 30 km.

The system is not operationally compatible with the systems used by NATO countries, which gives Turkey a military capacity independent of the alliance. NATO commanders will not have control over it. The identification friend or foe (IFF) equipment won’t prevent Turkey from using it against NATO aircraft and missiles. Reaching full operational capability will require Russian personnel to be stationed in Turkey on advice, assistance and training missions.

The technology transfer component of the S-400 deal is especially important as it would allow Turkey to rapidly expand domestic defense industry with Russia’s help. Russia would supply two batteries and help Ankara build two more such systems. A few years ago, the US refused to let Turkey produce Patriot air defense systems on its soil and the deal was off.

Ankara does not have industrial infrastructure to produce air defense systems. Russian specialists will have to come and build it from scratch. As a result, Russia will get access to the defense infrastructure of a NATO member state."

"There are so many limits on what can be discussed today that awareness of the present era is denied to those living in it." The main only virtue for the 'smarts' is the ability to color within the lines, and of course to have a hyper-sense of what the lines are.

"Iraqi Kurdistan to Vote on Independence: Middle East Heads for Another Major War". "Kurdistan and the Veil of Lies" (Duff).  Have the Israelis convinced the Kurds that they can prevail in a war against the entire rest of the world?

It is funny that the geniuses in the Spanish government decided to act in the only way which would guarantee Catalonian independence.  The difference between Kurdistan and Catalonia is that nobody gives a shit whether Catalonia is independent or not.

"They look at us with hope, but we can only document their despair".  I cynically marvel at the beauty of the highly composed photographs of the suffering of the Rohingya, many of them by the famous warmongers of the Associated Press.  When you are photographing somebody in serious medical distress, shouldn't you be doing something to help?

Ha!:  "The Srebrenicans are standing with the Rohingya".  Same psyop.

It is a terrible insult to serial killers to compare them to the incompetent psychos running American financial businesses:  "It’s Already Time To Apply ‘Son Of Sam’ Doctrines To Equifax, If We Can".

Time machine

"America's Jews Are Driving America's Wars" (Giraldi):
"There are a couple of simple fixes for the dominant involvement of American Jews in foreign policy issues where they have a personal interest due to their ethnicity or family ties. First of all, don’t put them into national security positions involving the Middle East, where they will potentially be conflicted. Let them worry instead about North Korea, which does not have a Jewish minority and which was not involved in the holocaust. This type of solution was, in fact, somewhat of a policy regarding the U.S. Ambassador position in Israel. No Jew was appointed to avoid any conflict of interest prior to 1995, an understanding that was violated by Bill Clinton (wouldn’t you know it!) who named Martin Indyk to the post. Indyk was not even an American citizen at the time and had to be naturalized quickly prior to being approved by congress.

Those American Jews who are strongly attached to Israel and somehow find themselves in senior policy making positions involving the Middle East and who actually possess any integrity on the issue should recuse themselves, just as any judge would do if he were presiding over a case in which he had a personal interest. Any American should be free to exercise first amendment rights to debate possible options regarding policy, up to and including embracing positions that damage the United States and benefit a foreign nation. But if he or she is in a position to actually create those policies, he or she should butt out and leave the policy generation to those who have no personal baggage.

For those American Jews who lack any shred of integrity, the media should be required to label them at the bottom of the television screen whenever they pop up, e.g. Bill Kristol is “Jewish and an outspoken supporter of the state of Israel.” That would be kind-of-like a warning label on a bottle of rat poison – translating roughly as “ingest even the tiniest little dosage of the nonsense spewed by Bill Kristol at your own peril.”

As none of the above is likely to happen, the only alternative is for American citizens who are tired of having their country’s national security interests hijacked by a group that is in thrall to a foreign government to become more assertive about what is happening. Shine a little light into the darkness and recognize who is being diddled and by whom. Call it like it is. And if someone’s feelings are hurt, too bad. We don’t need a war with Iran because Israel wants one and some rich and powerful American Jews are happy to deliver. Seriously, we don’t need it."
"Good news from Syria" (Lang).  The 'Iran talk' comes out of fury at Iran 'winning' another victory in Syria.  As usual, Trump's instincts, and what he actually does, are good, but his rhetoric is crazy.  ""Demand to cancel Iran deal is an Israeli spin" by Ron Ben-Yishai" (Lang).

"3,000 US troops headed to Afghanistan—to die for Israel" (Alexis).

"The Growing Affinity Between Netanyahu’s Israel and the West’s Far-right is Hardly Surprising" (Cook).  Nothing new, this has been going on for years, and the connection is Islamophobia.

I know you can't say it out loud, but it is long, long, long past time for Americans to tell the Jews to fuck off.

"Israeli Right Wing Faction Announces a Plan for Ethnic Cleansing".  As horrible as it sounds, they are just codifying current Israeli policies and actions.

"The Lucy Stein Gang Rides Into Moscow" (Shamir):
"As we learned from Wikileaks-published State Department cables, this is the current trend of CIA for orchestrating regime change: instead of sending money directly to the opposition with a courier, they employ oligarchs as go-between. This mode has been used in Syria since 2006, as well as in Lebanon, and now is being applied in Moscow.

The winners of the recent municipal elections in Moscow weren’t just the “fair-faced” children of nomenclature, but appointees of the US deep state. They did it using American know-how and American money. This is the real and very successful interference, and the organisers got away with it."

"90 Companies Helped Cause the Climate Crisis—They Should Pay for It".

"Europe’s Likely Response to Trump’s Move Against Iran Nuclear Deal".  The fact is, it is not a two-party deal, and the United States has no power to unilaterally end it.  The United States could, of course, welsh on its obligations under the deal, but only at the expense of permanently wrecking what little is left of its international reputation.  I'm sure Trump knows this, and the bluster on Iran is just more 'Iran talk', meant to pacify the one-issue guys who are always hounding American politicians.

You'll be glad and relieved to know that The Daily Stormer is back, on an Iceland url.  I sometimes have to fiddle with the Opera vpn to get it to come up.

Comment at Naked Capitalism by DJG on Human Rights Watch.  I recommend reading the Angry Arab for a couple weeks should you need evidence of the hilariously ultra-Zionist slant of HRW!  The comment demonstrates how successful the operation has been in using 'human rights' to enforce monstrous Zionist goals.  Intelligence is the ability to recognize patterns, and the bad guys have done very well assuming we are all morons.

Serbia, Libya, Syria, Burma

"The Rohingya Crisis: Perception Management, Rumours, Reality and Ramifications" (Korybko; my emphasis in red):
"Unfortunately, these sorts of situations have a track record of attracting international terrorists and leading to the explosion of domestic ones, like what happened with the “Kosovo Liberation Army” and its al-Qaeda backers in Yugoslavia; the “moderate rebels,” al-Qaeda and eventually Daesh in Syria; and now the “Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army” and what increasingly looks to be Daesh’s next Asian hot spot in Myanmar.

Correspondingly, each conflict was linked to either capturing the whole country or partitioning off a strategic corner of it, with post-conflict Kosovo hosting the US’s gigantic Camp Bondsteel; all of Syria at one time being planned to become the US’s pivot of control over the entire Levant; and a future “South Asian Kosovo” of “Rohingyaland” giving its patron powerful influence over the two oil and gas pipelines from coastal Kyaukphyu to China’s Kunming and accordingly dominating this envisioned New Silk Road hub."
Curiously, Korybko, usually razor sharp, lamely identifies the conspiracy as extreme one-sided international press coverage, which draws radicals to the area, rather than the far more likely, based on a growing number of known precedents, Ziowahabbican conspiracy of actively introducing Islamist terrorists into an area to serve as a proxy army.

"The Rohingya refugee crisis and the problem of objectivity" (Ó Colmáin):
"The US empire is not omnipotent but many of its strategists have a higher IQ than their leftist critics."
and:
"The Bengali refugees are misfortunate. They are poor people manipulated by unscrupulous criminals, brain washed by a Satanic ideology imported from Saudi Arabia. The Rohingya identity was concocted by the well-connecting local ruling class in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Northern Rakhine. Bengali peasants are the ones who are suffering to please their Muslim Brotherhood lords.
The Wahhabites can pollute the minds of millions. Bias is something some people simply cannot overcome. Any time I’ve asked a Muslim Rohingyarist about crimes against Buddhists, they have simply ignored my question. The only conclusion I can draw from that is that they consider Buddhists to be sub-human. What I find particularly disturbing is just how widespread the bigotry is among Muslims -even those who say they totally reject racism and in many cases support very good causes. I suspect there is an equal level of bigotry among many Budhhists and Hindus. Bigotry won’t solve the problem."
I think it too generous to the American 'left' to blame their problems on IQ.  They are most certainly idiots, but their main problem is that they are simply evil.

Ó Colmáin's interviewee discusses the aspect that this is partly an attack on the government of Bangladesh, and that Iran is making a big, but possibly correctable, mistake in parroting the Ziowahabbican PR line.

Cracks in the foundations

"Are the Shadow Brokers identical with the Second Source?"

"Shadow Brokers And The “Second Source”".  emptywheel has been unconvincing lately, another victim of Putin/Trump Derangement Syndrome, now apparent due to The Clarification.

The careful Electrospaces conclusion is that Shadow Brokers is probably the Second Source (second to Snowden), and is probably an NSA insider based out of the NSA facility in San Antonio.  All of these 'hacks' are actually leaks, and leaks pose a deep psychological problem for Imperialists (leaks drive them bat-shit insane; see also Angleton's insane and destructive/self-destructive search for the supposed CIA mole back in the 60s).  A hack is evidence of a technical problem which can be fixed, while a leak is a much deeper and darker problem, one involving dissent from the ideological foundations of Empire, and one that cannot ever truly be fixed, even by apprehending the leaker.

Their main subject or field of study

"The Fall Offensive: the US, France and Brazil" (Petras):
"The official ‘anti-Trump opposition’, which terms itself a ‘resistance’, promotes ‘identity’ interests linked to elite political representation. It works hard to undermine any possibility of working class unity based on common socio-economic interests by focusing on marginal and divisive issues. In the midst of mass poverty, declining life expectancy and an epidemic of suicide and drug overdose deaths, the ‘resistance’ forces of the elite opposition concentrate on manufactured foreign (‘Russia-gate’) conspiracies and life style issues (trans-genders in the US Special Forces) to overthrow the Trump regime. They have no intention to forge any class alliances that might threaten Trump’s regressive capitalist agenda."

"Opioids are like guns handed out in a suicide ward; they have certainly made the total epidemic much worse, but they are not the cause of the underlying depression. We suspect that deaths of despair among those without a university degree are primarily the result of a 40-year stagnation of median real wages and a long-term decline in the number of well-paying jobs for those without a bachelor’s degree. Falling labor force participation, sluggish wage growth, and associated dysfunctional marriage and child-rearing patterns have undermined the meaning of working people’s lives as well." (Case and Deaton)

"Hillary Explains Orwell for Us: The Theme Of 1984 Is That We Should Trust “our Leaders” MORE" (Sailer).  See also.

"A Weird MIT Dorm Dies, and a Crisis Blooms at Colleges".  With all the talk of 'fake news', and the shuttering of websites, and the 'de-monetizing' (well, burning is OK), and the new and sudden intolerance of eccentricities which have been accepted for decades, one might almost think the smart and credentialed people have engineered a conspiracy to clean up all possible dissent all at once.

"US Left, You Have Been Duped" (read the whole thing):
"It’s not a coincidence that just prior to these speaking events being shut down, Google, Inc. asserted its right to decide what is and is not a legitimate news source. At the same time the US Congress is considering legislation that would make it illegal for US citizens to support boycott, divestment, or sanctions against Israel. Not surprisingly, the pro-Israel Anti Defamation League (ADL) has been brought on by Google to advise them on which news sources are legitimate and which are not. Google now has such a monopoly on information on the Internet that it is in a position to bury unapproved news sources forever. The ADL will therefore be able to effectively censor any negative news about what Israel is doing in Palestine and the middle east, just as AIPAC, through its ownership of the US Congress, will be able to censor free speech of American citizens when it comes to, once again, Israel.

In the ‘50s the ADL monitored “pinkos” for the House UnAmerican Activities Committee. In the ‘90s ADL monitored activists working to end apartheid in South Africa, in the 2000s the ADL began monitoring Arab American organizations and mosques. Today the ADL monitors pro-Palestine groups on college campuses. In each case the ADL has gone after “extremism and hate speech” in the US, as defined by Israel.

One wonders, why does Israel, a foreign country, have such a say on in what people in the US can and can’t talk about?"

Tweet (Mark Ames):
 "Lvov Polytechnic history dept calls for renaming university after genocidal WW2 Nazi collaborator Bandera"
"'Daily Stormer' dedicates banner to Netanyahu's son".

"Terry Glavin: Singh not what NDP socialists wanted in a leader — and that's a good thing". There is, of course, only one solitary issue for the Zionist Post, a fact which can sometimes lead to weird articles.  It would be funny if Singh loses as he is recognized as Mulcair with something on his head.

"Facing a Major Attack on Academic Freedom in Canada" (Hall).  I can't see how you can possibly be responsible for the content from a third party posting on your Facebook page.

"National Geographic Uses Gaza Footage in “Hell on Earth” Syria Hoax".  If you are looking for inconceivable atrocities delivered by monsters on human beings, Gaza is pretty sweet footage to pass up.

"Sixteen years after 9/11: lies, hypocrisy and militarism".  WSWS is now parroting laughable anti-Saudi conspiracy theories from the deep-pocket-seeking graspers!  Next week they'll be blaming class divisions on aliens.

"Breaking News of Saudi Crown Prince's "Secret" Visit To Israel Brings Embassy Scramble" (Durden).  There are ways to do this which would have been secret, so this is a 'secret' they want to spread far and wide.

An excellent way to know if your country is fucked is how much time it spends running down Israeli rabbit holes:  "Israeli leader in Argentina, lauds effort to solve 1994 Jewish centre bombing".

It is as if Bibi overheard somebody talking about Greater Kurdistan and exclaimed 'what a great idea, I wish I'd thought of that':  "Israeli prime minister backs Kurdish independence in Iraq".  The reality is that the Kurds seem determined to run head first into the wood-chopper:  "Israeli support for Kurdish statehood is a poisoned chalice".  Israel wants a never-ending unmitigated disaster, with massive death and destruction, most of it falling on Kurds, as that is the kind of thing which keeps its opponents busy.

"The AbuZayd-Pinheiro Committee: Systematic Misinformation on Syria".  Human organ eaters make great witnesses, probably due to improvements in sensory perception and memory.

"Has the NYT Gone Collectively Mad?" (Parry).

Parkhomenko, again! Very adept with social media manipulation.  See also.

"If Elected Party Leader, Zionist Anne Marie Waters Will Sound UKIP’s Death Knell, Part 2".  Incredible - as in I can't believe what I'm reading - example of  how overt the UKIP conspiracy is.

"The Agony Of Middle East Christians".  Really weird answer to the question "Why have the US news media not been especially interested in the plight of Middle Eastern Christians?"!

"John Derbyshire: Don’t Sealion Me, Bro".  A convoluted way to point out what Zuckerberg's sister does, which might be relevant when she holds a senior American cabinet position in the next Administration.

"EAR/ONS and the DRAGNET" (Quasar).  Clever.  It is not uncommon for prolific serial offenders to have gaps in, or sudden halts to, their activities, often explained by some sort of incarceration for an unrelated activity.

"Teenage girl, 16, who Anthony Weiner sexted reveals her face for the first time as he awaits sentencing and says she was 'disgusted' by his lewd comments and selfies".  Weiner's actual perversion/paraphilia is exhibitionism - the trial, and the accompanying 'humiliation', must be the single most exciting thing that has happened to him.

Wonder weapons

"The Gathering to Abolish War" (Swanson).  Much as I admire Swanson, I think we can all immediately see that the problem with these lists of worthies is that there will be people on the lists whose job it will be to undermine the process.

"The Pentagon’s New Wonder Weapons for World Dominion" (McCoy):
"Within a decade, the Pentagon apparently hopes to patrol the entire planet ceaselessly via a triple-canopy aerospace shield that would reach from sky to space and be secured by an armada of drones with lethal missiles and Argus-eyed sensors, monitored through an electronic matrix and controlled by robotic systems. It’s even possible to take you on a tour of the super-secret realm where future space wars will be fought, if the Pentagon’s dreams become reality, by exploring both DARPA websites and those of its various defense contractors."
We're in luck as extreme American imperial decline - and we've seen this over and over again in the latest American high-tech weapons - means that none of these things will actually work (little comfort to the people whose lives are ruined or ended by these toys).  I know this is crazy but could there be good people in the system who are sabotaging the technology (of course, that doesn't explain the deep conceptual problems in much of the weapons which largely lie in the overwhelming need to enrich military contractors).

"Syria’s Survival Is Blow to Jihadists" (Crooke).  I linked to this the other day, but 'woke' pieces are still rare enough to merit rereading (I borrow 'woke' semi-ironically):
"In the aftermath of the Syria war and the aftermath of ISIS murderous brutality in Mosul, many Sunnis have had more than enough of this Wahabbi orientation of Islam. There is likely to be a revival of the notion of secular, non-sectarian nationalism in consequence. But also, the traditional Levantine model of a tolerant, more inwardly orientated, quasi-secular, Islam will enjoy a revival.

Whereas fired-up Sunnism used as a political tool may be “down,” radical reformist Sunni Islam, as a sub-culture, is certainly not “out.” Indeed, as the pendulum now swings against Sunni movements globally, the hostility already being generated is very likely to feed the sense of Islam being besieged and attacked; of usurpation of its lands and authority; and of dispossession (of the state, which Sunnis have tradition thought as being “of them”). The puritan, intolerant strain in Islam has been present since the earliest times (Hanbali, Ibn Taymiyya and, in the Eighteenth Century, Abd-el Wahhab), and this orientation always seems to arise at times of crisis within the Islamic world. ISIS may be defeated, but this orientation is never fully defeated, nor disappears completely.

The “victor” in this sub-sphere is Al Qaeda. The latter predicted the failure of ISIS (a physically-situated Caliphate being premature, it argued). Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has been proved to have been correct in his judgment. Al Qaeda will sweep up the remnants from both ISIS, on one hand, and the angry and disillusioned members of the Muslim Brotherhood, on the other. In a sense, we may see a greater convergence amongst Islamist movements (especially when the Gulf paymasters step back).

We are likely to witness a reversion to Zawahiri’s virtual, global jihad intended to provoke the West, rather than to defeat it militarily – as opposed to any new attempt to seize and control a territorial Emirate."

"Lost, Not Found: Raft of CIA Files on Lee Harvey Oswald Has 'Gone Missing'".  Sputnik is under attack, in this frankly bizarre obsession that media outlets actually doing their job is some kind of anti-American conspiracy.  You have to be amused that the big Putin wrecking of the American empire consists in informing Americans what their government and politicians are doing.

Another dastardly trick, for Rex:  "Russian PM Orders Amicable Settlement With ExxonMobil in Dispute Over Sakhalin-1".  "Tillerson is working with China and Russia — very, very quietly" (CIA).

"Exterminate Hate: A Modest Proposal for Mossad".  Toxic anti-Semitic stereotypes!

"Israel wants the United States to attack Russia" (Alexis).  "Is this what is driving US Kurdish policy?" (Lang).

"On the anniversary of 9/11" (Robin).  Part of The Clarification.

"The Murder of John Kennedy’s Mistress, Part 1" (Janney).  The patsy only got off because he was lucky enough to have tremendous legal representation.

"Big Pharma marketing scheme banned by Ontario". This is fine but if Ontario were being properly run Telus would be wound up and the executives responsible for this outrage jailed for a long time. This kind of hilariously outrageous grasping only happens because the corporate leaders fear no repercussions.

Weapons of mass migration

"Why India should give seamless support to Aung San Suu Kyi" (Bhadrakumar).  The massive quantity of pictures of human suffering (which, to be clear, is actually happening), which you never see when the victims are the victims of the Ziowahhabicans (not to mention the prominence of the discredited Human Rights Watch in the PR campaign!), should be a hint what's really going on.  For future reference, Margolis stands firmly on the side of the jihadist/anti-Chinese side:  "Deep Shame on Suu Kyi and Myanmar".  Again, I refer to the fucking superb - essentially a textbook example of modern 'woke' conspiracy analysis - "The Rohingya Psyops: Waging Covert War on Myanmar" (Ó Colmáin; my emphasis in red; note also his comments on Fisk/Serbia, and the comment by HB on North Korea):
"The British used Bengali settlers in Burma to administer the Rakhine State on behalf of British interests. Since that time,  they have been periodically committing massacres against the indigenous Buddhist population of Burma’s Rakhine State region. The Muslims causing all the trouble are backed by the Saudis, Pakistanis, Turks, Bangladeshis and by the British and Americans who want to ‘Kossovise’ mineral-rich Myanmar. I should like to stress ‘Muslims who are causing all the trouble’; for it is a minority of the Rakhine State’s Muslims who are attempting to wage Jihad on behalf of Western geopolitical interests and the ongoing Zionist global war on terrorism, euphemistically and erroneously referred to as the ‘clash of civilisations’.

Since independence, Myanmar’s Rakhine State’s Muslim population has become the majority and Buddhists have suffered persecution; temples are often attacked and burned. Rapes of local Buddhist women by Muslim men are regularly reported. Arakanese Buddhists live in fear. The Islamist violence against Buddhists in Rakhine State is often followed by brutal attacks on Muslims in areas of the country where they are a minority. An independent Rakhine State which, like Serbia’s Kosovo, would depend entirely on the United States for its security, would be an enormous geopolitical prize for the US and a major tool of incremental destablisation against China, where the US is currently waging covert jihad through Uigur terrorists – many of whom are training in Syria and Iraq. The World Uighur Congress is backed by Washington.

The Myanmar authorities are currently fighting a war of national liberation against two terrorist organisations called the Rohingya Liberation Organisation.(RLO), and the Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO). The RLO is supported by Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey and ipso facto, NATO. Recent reports from Indian intelligence agencies have indicated that the Daesh are now recruiting Rohingya in India and sending them to Saudi Arabia for training.

The Rohingya terrorists are most likely receiving arms and training from Bangladeshi military intelligence under the supervision of Turkey and the US, while the Saudis are providing the radicalisation and the cash. The Rohingya refugee story is a gigantic psyops which is intended to manipulate the emotions of ignorant mass media consumers, who do not understand the history and complex geopolitical context of Myanmar and the Bay of Bengal.

With a population of 160 million, Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. The Bengali state is one of the world’s great sweatshops – providing slave labour for powerful Western corporations. But the state cannot provide enough employment for the country’s burgeoning youth. As a consequence, hundreds of thousands of Bengali youths take to the waters, heading mostly for Thailand and Malaysia. Exploited by a brutal mafia of traffickers who coordinate with Western intelligence agencies and NGOs, these economic migrants often end up on the shores of Rakhine State, where refugee camps are erected. They are then recruited by Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist groups for purposes of destabilising Rakhine State on behalf of Western interests. The Rohingya crisis is the most brutal and blatant example of what Kelly Greenhill calls ‘Weapons of mass migration’, whereby human beings are used by one state as geopolitical weapons against a target state.

In spite of extensive research carried out on the ground in Myanmar by independent researchers such as Rick Heizman – which extensively and exhaustively document ethnic cleansing by Rohingya Muslims against poor Buddhist peasants –  the human rights organisations which are shaping the international media narrative have simply relayed accusations of genocide made by the very organisations committing atrocities, namely the organised terrorist gangs of the Rohingya insurgency.

Although the public is led to believe that organisations such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch are independent, they are in fact closely linked to the British and American governments and function as para-statal agencies of imperial war propaganda.  Human rights organisations infiltrated by Western intelligence agents play a key role in creating the public consensus for US, NATO or UN military interventions in countries where a pretext is needed for a war of conquest, cynically disguised as a ‘humanitarian intervention’."
Added: two missing links in above excerpt.

The CIA, Mossad, and Saudi intelligence no doubt got together one afternoon and drew this whole thing up on a whiteboard.  Why do we keep falling for this obvious trickery? Are we morons?

Note in particular how the western 'human rights' organizations retype the allegations of  atrocities provided by the jihadists, just like in Syria!

And for you 9/11 analysts out there (9/11 is just another variation on the same general plan), would it really matter whether CIA assets slit the throats of a few Buddhists, or whether the throat slitting is done by some jihadists financed by the Saudis?

One of the great ironies of all this is that the brunt of the personalization of the blame is falling on Suu Kyi, herself of course a great tool of western imperialism (as proved by the Nobel Prize)!
