Irresponsible government

"Coca-Cola, Whiteness and Madness" (Kirby).  The increasingly common phenomenon of a big corporations picking fights with the majority of its customers in the most insulting way possible - the exact opposite of what every marketing textbook would advise on page one - all to gain wokenness points for the corporate leaders, is so bizarre as to be incomprehensible.  Stonetoss.

"Anonymous US Officials Blame ‘Iranian-Backed’ Militia For Latest Iraq Rocket Attack" (DeCamp) (my emphasis in red):

"While the Biden administration has yet to formally attribute blame for a rocket attack that hit Al Asad airbase in Iraq on Wednesday, anonymous US officials are telling the media that an “Iranian-backed” militia was responsible.

Two officials told Politico that they believe Kataib Hezbollah or an affiliated group was involved in the attack. Kataib Hezbollah is an Iraqi Shia militia that falls under the umbrella of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), a coalition of state-sponsored militias that formed in 2014 to fight ISIS."
Remarkably vague as the rationale for a completely illegal attack on a sovereign country (which may have been Iraq rather than Syria, though all the (((media))) says Syria, perhaps because they like the sound of it).

"We're All Europeans Now" (Luongo).  Ever since Trump, Brexit and the danger of Corbyn, elections are regarded as the biggest problem facing the plutocracy.  Euro-trash for the win!

"Trudeau clarifies that Saudi Arabia isn’t an ally, just an acquaintance we sell a fuckton of weapons to" (Field):
"“We’re just acquaintances. Or work friends. At most we’re Fucking Over Yemen Buddies.” "
