Greatest hits

"WikiLeaks Reviews Some Of Its 'Greatest Hits' Leaks On Afghanistan" (Durden).

"Bombs Away, Applebaum!" (Robinson).  I'm sure that Applebaum is thrilled about freeing up military options to fight WWIII, and doesn't expect that the US will return to Afghanistan, but needs to keep that neocon flag flying.

You have to read this with the knowledge that bin Laden was a CIA asset, and, on his own admission, had nothing to do with 9/11, which was an inside job (and Judith Miller is a caught Zionist serial fabulist):  "Peter Bergen is Mistaken About Bin Laden’s Strategy" (Horton).

"It’s time for Sirhan Sirhan to go free" (Nubani):

"Sirhan’s lead lawyer during his trial, Grant B. Cooper, provided ineffective assistance of counsel.

Attorneys who have represented Sirhan in recent years contend that Cooper, who died in 1990, was compromised by the fact that he was under federal indictment for illegally possessing grand jury transcripts in an unrelated case, but that after Sirhan’s sentencing that indictment was dropped.

Cooper and the defense team failed to adequately challenge government evidence, seek expert testimony or pursue any avenue that tended to exonerate Sirhan."
