If YouTube had honest competition, it would have to start to act responsibly, which certainly isn't the case now:And this is why @elonmusk needs to make #Twitter the next major video content creator platform that can pay creators well - in order to break that monopoly - so Youtube cannot just make up reasons for taking away revenues from creators who had spent countless hours on those vids.

If YouTube was an honest company, all the money from demonetized accounts should go to charity (WikiLeaks would be a most appropriate place). The way things are now, all the incentives are for YouTube to abuse censorship to improve its bottom line.
